Great vibes, great staff, fun times.
There's no food here, fyi. Great selection of mocktails for sober folks. I hadn't been to the White Horse in years but there was a fun dance party going on in the back room for Pride, which was a lot of fun.
Yes the drinks are great, they make thier special drinks as well. Mocktails too! All the tvs work and theres always something going on here. And more importantly , the white horse is a legendary place with a rich history from our LGBTQ communities. The new owners recognize this and have honored this legacy in its revival and new iteration today. It continues to support our queer communities, every generation continues to be welcomed here. The White Horse Inn is a lively spot with a chill atmosphere, featuring a pool table, dance floor, and outdoor patio. The bartenders are known for their sass and humor, and there are four screens conveniently located around the bar for sports enthusiasts. Said to be the oldest continuously operating gay bar in the US, having opened in 1933, it's the kind of neighborhood gay bar where people feel immediately at ease. The DJs are actually quite good here, and regulars sitting at the bar are very welcoming. There is no food, but if you happen to be there when the street vendor is doing tacos, they come highly recommended. The White Horse Inn remains a popular spot for its good vibes, lively atmosphere, and deeply charming vibe where you may hear some pretty incredible stories.
