“Champurraada's are DELICIOUS!!!! With coffee it's A perfect combination!! All their bread and cookies are fresh and so yummy! The owners are so friendly and welcoming. Check them out for your upcoming holiday events or just to enjoy with your hot drink!“
“Masa Is a great local taqueria/tamaleria. They have the best fish tacos around, bar none. Baja style beer battered fish on a tostada! YES PLEASE. Ceviche options are generous and fresh. My mom drives from Marin to get tamales here. There is a generous selection of alcoholic beverages along with lots of non-alcoholic options including multiple aguas frescas that change daily. There are Mexican snacks for sale as well as a nice selection of grab and go dessets. I honestly have never had a bad meal here. I would LOVE a Chile relleno burrito on the menu- hint, hint! You can also order fresh, hot tortillas which I often grab when I've made a meal at home they will complement. Indoor and outdoor patio seating available.“
“Probably my favorite lunch in the East Bay right now. Fresh hearty healthy delicious colorful. Food is clearly prepared with love and creativity and the people working were super kind. They have juice and espresso, it's in a bright beautiful space with tasteful decor. Totally reasonable prices - especially for the quality. Really what more could you ask for? 5000 stars ;)“
“Excellent place, I loved the food, good customer service, the young waitress, very kind, friendly, and for that reason I will highly recommend the place, thank you all.Wheelchair accessibility: THEY HAVE GOOD TRAVEL SPACE, I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS.“
“Caribbean cuisine right at the Ferry Building. You order at the counter and pick up the food. I tried the Cuban sandwich and the beef plate with rice and beans. It's typical Caribbean with some spice and sweetness not spicy hot. Try the strawberry juice.“
“Phenomenal. Every dish was superb. Tried their Easter Prix Fixe menu during my first visit and was blown away. We had the lamb shank, lomo saltado, seafood ceviche, cioppino, tres leches cake, and bread pudding. The meats were cooked to perfection and everything was very well balanced.“
“The Torta Cubana was very delicious! The bread was buttery and crunchy which paired very well with the meaty filling. I really appreciate when a place uses a good amount of mayo, but not excessive and Cholita Linda aced it! Their agua de Tamarindo was also nicely tart and sweet which I absolutely would return for!“
“Perfect spot for #tacotuesday ?Got the al pastor tacos and inhaled them way before it even occurred to me to get photos and post a review. They were delicious, highly recommend! Al pastor burrito was good too.Edit : ordered in a bunch of times and LOVE the Al pastor burrito. This is my go to taco spot and my faves are the fried shrimp, chorizo and Al pastor. They don’t skimp on the filling, so 3 tacos is a hearty meal. Soooo good 10/10“
“Food was good, ordered the chefs tasting course meal , service was ok , previous experience was better , nice ambiance , but was notified by one the employees that one of the heater was not working because it will turn off and just gas comes out but earlier went asked to turn them on they turned so we were exposed to gas for a little bit“
“We had reservations for 6 of us.Menus were on tablets that were on the table for guest to viewWe order appetizers plus 6 main dishes.Every dish was beautifully presented and very delicious. Our waiter was funny, helpful and polite in our likes and dislikes. He was very attentive to our needs which made our first time very memorable..The Flan dessert was so good and tasty.I will definitely go back.Extra points for having easy parking too.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and welcome families with toddlers“
“Had brunch with my wife here because they just opened up in Albany. We shared the scone, I ordered the Chilaquiles and my wife ordered the breakfast sopes.Everything was delicious and food came out in good timing. The staff was also attentive and gave us space to eat and chat.Would come here again! We also ordered the Tri Tip Sandwich and the Chicken Gordita to-go. Also super tasty! Really though, try this place out yourself!Update: Feb 11, 2024Went back for lunch with my wife to try different items on the brunch menu. Wife got the Mt.Tam Potatoes, I got the banana French toast (both served in a generous serving size). We couldn't help ourselves so we got a scone to share, a blueberry pancake and a banana pancake with fried chicken on the side.Everything came out timely and tasted amazing. Consistency is something we feel demonstrates whether a restaurant has their stuff down or not. Second time ordering the scone was not a disappointment. The service was also consistent, they were readily available but we didn't feel rushed. We will continue coming here!“
“Awesome location with a great selection and top notch quality. The Dorado en salsa de mariscos had the best scallops I've eaten along with a beautiful piece of mahi mahi and a beautiful prawn. The La podersoa with chicken got a great review and everyone left happy. Definitely worth a drop in.“
“OMGWhat just happened?Go to MaMo restaurant.Have the beef arrepa. It comes with salad.?I couldn't believe what happened to meThe flavor experience was not only startling, but bafflingly enjoyable. What a pleasant surprise to find such a hidden gem in the North Beach neighborhood. I don't know how I walked past it so many times and never even noticed it is right here...Finally, I have a suggestion to share with the Texan who usually gives me all the recommendations for this neighborhood. It all happened so quickly, I didn’t think to get a photo(s) to share, and it was already over.I’ll go back, though—that’s for sure!Selection of beer and wine.Clean bathroom.Really friendly service.Free parking on the street up to 2 hours.Dine in or take out.If you choose to give a thumbs-up ?? or not, I hope you found my review helpful!Vegetarian options: vegan options. salad.Dietary restrictions: vegan optionsParking: free street parking up to 2 hours.Wheelchair accessibility: no step. wheelchair table.“

“Came here for Oakland Restaurant week, was underwhelmed. While there were some good bites amongst the many we shared, this left me craving more traditional authentic dishes with more flavor. The lamb tongue and crab taquitos were pretty tasty, but everything else was pretty forgettable.“
“Highly recommend this place! I've been wanting to go here for awhile. Finally came here after work. Had the chipotle chicken sandwich with chips and some pan dulce on the side. Can't forget the horchata which was excellent! My first time here but definitely not my last! Might bring some friends and family here another time. Everything was fresh. The atmosphere was great and was playing lots of bachata and salsa music. Definitely love the vibe here. Hope to come again real soon!“
“Although we enjoyed our time, we were disappointed when we tried to order more drinks but couldn't get the attention of the waitress. We waited for over 30 minutes with empty glasses. The ambiance was fantastic, and the staff appeared friendly, but we didn't get a chance to try the food.“
“I tried there chicken pepian , it’s was so delicious that I went there the next day . I also tried there combo BBQ , It’s so tasty, the seasoning and well cooked . The staff is so friendly and eager to help . When you try the pepian chicken as for the country chicken one , it’s so tasty . There Tortilla is hand made and really tasty . The rice we get with the chicken is amazing as well . I will go there again when I go to San Pablo. It’s worth a visit if you are driving anywhere within 5-10 miles . Support Local businesses“
“They've remodeled with a more upscale dining room. You still order at the register. Food is some of the best Mexican food in the East Bay. They also offer call ahead for curbside pickupParking: Parking can be dicey on busy nights. They have two lots, plus the street.“
“I go to Angel's for the breakfast burrito with bacon. It always delivers, esp. with some hot sauce. The building and interior need some TLC, but if you look past that you'll discover a gem with quick, friendly service. Grab coffee from Catahoula across the street.“
