The true STAR is this bartender (white guy with glasses and a short beard).
He is the only employee (besides the door person) working at this bar. Serving, bussing, being amazing. On a Saturday night, at 10:30pm. The efficiency, the professionalism and politeness, and then the drinks are delicious!

“This is a classic Italian restaurant with a lively atmosphere and excellent service. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. We ordered the classic pepperoni pizza, the classic cheese and bacon pizza, as well as the lasagna and carbonara. The pizzas were cooked to perfection, with a crispy and delicious crust. The pasta was cheesy and filling.“

“Our waiter was friendly and helpful. The pasta is very good as you might expect but I think to be completely full, a couple should order a pasta per person and an entree to split. The citrus cake was amazing and the Gnochetti’s texture was also amazing. The tiramisu also looked incredibly good but unfortunately they sold out, so I’d definitely recommend the desserts as well.“

“I was only here for a short while meeting some friends but, the atmosphere and expert were wonderful! When I showed up there was a live band playing playing some funky jazz and they were exceptionally talented. The place was pretty full but it didn't feel crowded. Everyone there seemed to really be enjoying themselves. There was an overall fun, lighthearted, lively vibe that felt almost infectious.

All in all I had a really nice time and would recommend checking out this little local treasure to anyone looking for a fun night out.“

“I love the vibe and energy of this place. A friend showed me the Bow Wow Cocktail lounge and it was packed with people singing songs from the 90s to early 2000s. Everyone was friendly and the service was great. I already made plans to come back here with a bigger group of friends.“

“VERY nice bar tucked off in Albany, inside is a wooded theme fireplace, candle lit tables with umbrellas outback on the patio. They have games like checkers, pool etc,. Super low-key but very chill-romantic vibe. I enjoyed myself and will be back again.“

“The ambiance is A1. Really appreciate the change of pace and the attention to detail/aesthetic. As far as food and drinks we did the wings and lamb which was pretty good and the fries (elite) and broccolini.

Drinks were tasty as well.

“Had the extreme fortune and pleasure of being served by Franklin well visiting the moon gate. He went far beyond his job description, since I am visually impaired he was kind enough to break down each and every drink by ingredient in flavour profile as well as he was kind enough to describe the aesthetics of the establishment itself. When I was in the moongate I felt like I was a friend as opposed to a customer. At this point I should mention the signature cocktails are incredible [Not to mention dangerous as some are incredibly smooth] A heartfelt thank you for being welcoming and not batting an eye when I entered with my seeing Eye dog. I truly had a great experience at this establishment.“

“We in Russian Hill and North Beach are lucky that this spot lights up Stockton Street with mirth and merriment. It offers promise of boisterous camaraderie or quiet romance. And we should take it up on that promise! Look at the photos of spontaneous dancing outside to a song I could not identify. “Super cute place. Come as you are kind of bar. There are food vendors, gaming activities, pool, darts, wonderful people that are super chill. Legend says if you're there on a Monday there's There 2 islanders that cook amazing food...The only thing is that they show up randomly. They will post on the Second 2 None Facebook 5 hours before showing up. “My first visit to Berkeley City Club for afternoon tea at Julia's and I am smitten! Gorgeous room in a gorgeous building designed by Julia Morgan. Easily accessible by a short walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. The tea sandwiches and sweets were filling and my Earl Grey tea was wonderfully robust.
