“This is a classic Italian restaurant with a lively atmosphere and excellent service. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. We ordered the classic pepperoni pizza, the classic cheese and bacon pizza, as well as the lasagna and carbonara. The pizzas were cooked to perfection, with a crispy and delicious crust. The pasta was cheesy and filling.“

“Food and drinks were amazing. We had oysters, calamari, Caesar salad, lobster lasagna and hanger steak. For dessert we had the sorbet and tiramisu. The star of the show: the staff but specifically our server Maggie was also sooo amazing. We were celebrating a birthday and a farewell dinner and she made sure we had the best time! “The decor was festive and abundant in the best way possible, and the cocktails looked unique and curiosity-piquing. I narrowed my choices down to a Cafe Sua Daddy and the Soy Sauce Old Fashioned.

I love a savory drink and the sweet caffeinated espresso martini-esque drink had a thick blanket of just-salty-enough foam reminiscent of the salt cream that tops a boba drink. The Soy Sauce Old Fashioned catapulted me back to my childhood, eating slabs of tofu drenched in shoyu at my grandma's house. I loved the custom soy bottle presentation, it was just strong enough to tolerate being poured over a large rock while maintaining its flavor.

My partner had the Umami Tots and Mapo Tofu. I couldn't resist the siren song of some crispy potatoes dunked in chili oil cream, but managed to hold myself back on the tofu- even though it smelled amazing.

Can't wait to return and try the new seasonal drinks, along with more snacks.“

“We've been here ~6-7 times in the last year. They make fantastic cocktails & the food is surprisingly good, but service is often very slow.

The drink menu is fun & tropical leaning but with some drinks that pack a serious punch. If you don't like what you see, they'll make anything you want & they'll do a great job!

I wish the menu would shift a little bit - I don't think it's changed since the first time we visisted.

It can be hard to get your order in & even if standing waiting for awhile, it'll often to awhile to get the attention of the bartender. This hasn't been isolated to a single bartender, it's just kind of the general experience.

“Drinks are good. Classic Greyhound (w/mid vodka) was perfection.
The true STAR is this bartender (white guy with glasses and a short beard).
He is the only employee (besides the door person) working at this bar. Serving, bussing, being amazing. On a Saturday night, at 10:30pm. The efficiency, the professionalism and politeness, and then the drinks are delicious!
Give this man a raise… or at least a fat bonus for the work he is putting in tonight.“

“Awesome karaoke bar in Chinatown, SF! Definitely a Chinatown feel with the dim red lights & decor. There's a huge karaoke book to choose a song to sing. If the bar is full, they'd likely limit you to 1 song at a time so others get a chance. Space is small so it can get crowded. Loved the energy & atmosphere.“

“The Food that i ordered was fantastic specially the seafood pasta in tomato sauce , rich in taste, large serving.

The staff are friendly and very accomodating.
Ambiance was pleasant. I do recommend this place, i enjoyed my visit.“

“The ambiance is A1. Really appreciate the change of pace and the attention to detail/aesthetic. As far as food and drinks we did the wings and lamb which was pretty good and the fries (elite) and broccolini.

Drinks were tasty as well.

“VERY nice bar tucked off in Albany, inside is a wooded theme fireplace, candle lit tables with umbrellas outback on the patio. They have games like checkers, pool etc,. Super low-key but very chill-romantic vibe. I enjoyed myself and will be back again.“

“After many personal recommendations had to go check out bar Iris for myself. Incredibly crafted cocktails in an amazing bar and seating area. Not only were they delicious but the looked great too! Very fancy menu with very helpful star chart to explain how the flavors of the drink are balanced.“

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because it took a little while to get our second round of drinks. Aside from that, everything else was fantastic!

The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was the perfect way to unwind after spending the day exploring the city. Great vibes, great food, and an overall enjoyable dining experience. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to relax and enjoy a good meal!

And the cocktails are in a league of their own. Izler Thomas is easily one of the best bartenders in the Bay Area, incredibly creative, thoughtful, and technically brilliant. Every drink feels like it has a story behind it, and the execution is flawless.

From the food to the cocktails to the hospitality, Tiya gets everything right. I’ve tried plenty of the other highly regarded Indian restaurants around the Bay, including Copra, and for me it’s not even close. Tiya is the one. Cannot recommend it enough.“

“My first visit to Berkeley City Club for afternoon tea at Julia's and I am smitten! Gorgeous room in a gorgeous building designed by Julia Morgan. Easily accessible by a short walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. The tea sandwiches and sweets were filling and my Earl Grey tea was wonderfully robust. I would love to return to Julia's for another dining experience. I'll be doing my research to see if they do any holiday themed menus/events.“

“Great bar in North Beach. When we were there it was just warm enough (SF Standard) to sit by the big open windows. They had some strong cocktail (and NA) options along with the normal wine & beer. We ordered pizza locally and had it delivered to us at the tables. great spot“

“We in Russian Hill and North Beach are lucky that this spot lights up Stockton Street with mirth and merriment. It offers promise of boisterous camaraderie or quiet romance. And we should take it up on that promise! Look at the photos of spontaneous dancing outside to a song I could not identify. It has the right qualities for a bouquet of friends to stand outside with their drinks

It’s the perfect bar post dinner to get a little tipsy over port or wine, lager or ale, and then sensibly hop on public transport located opposite the bar. Friends don’t let friends drive !“

“Really nice speak easy giving 60s to 80s vibes mirrors everywhere. It’s one way in one way out leather seating wooden tables. I recommend it for business professionals looking to go out or a group of friends that don’t want to be bothered. Either way I will be back they do not serve food therefore they got a low food rating. But there isn’t a array of alcohol. Can’t give you a good sense of service considering there’s only five people here but that may be a good thing.“

“Perfect Italian authentic restaurant when enjoying North Beach neighborhood for my friends birthday! I got us tickets to dear San Francisco, which is a wonderful show at Club Fugazi just 3 blocks away from this great restaurant! Paolo took wonderful care of us. His wine, suggestions and appetizer and entrée tips were the best! The pasta is homemade and very delicious and special. We tried the gnocchi with pesto, as well as a delicious braised meat, red sauce over fresh linguine. We also enjoyed the grilled (not fried) octopus. The tiramisu for dessert was perfect! I’ve been here before, and I will go back again and again for the service and authentic delicious Italian cuisine.“

“A great place to go work when you have a lot to get done. More outside spots than inside so its better on a sunny day. Its open late which is great. Never issues with the wifi bht limited charging spots.
Drinks are very yummy.

atmosphere. I tried the Taloma, a tamarind version of a Paloma and it was a great cocktail. Plenty of seating. Check out their socials for upcoming events and DJs. I’ve yet to attend any of their vinyl events since I’ve only come here a few times but I do like their record collection. Good location, near plenty of other bars and dining in the area.“

“One of my favoriteeeee bars! I know if I want to hear good music, I’m coming here. It’s one of those places that truly goes above and beyond to create an experience, not just serve drinks. No matter the occasion—Halloween, Christmas, Love Island watch parties, birthdays, or any other special event—they completely transform the space with themed decorations and even create custom menus to match. You can tell the owners put so much thought and care into every detail, and it really makes every visit feel unique and memorable. The back patio on a summer night is my faveeee ☀“

“This is right in the middle of financial district. Not sure about parking nearby as it is hard being SF. Food was decent and portions were big, but pricey as expected in SF. Drinks looked appealing. And, all restaurants are adding a 6% health tax for dining! It's ridiculously expensive to eat out in San Francisco. 😕 Sigh!“
