Popi's Oysterette Reviews
One of the best meals I had in San Francisco, great spot and the restaurant is on a street that is great to walk as well after
Loved it! Our waitress was amazing and super friendly. The food was awesome. We are so happy to have found this place. We had the raw oysters on half shells our favorite was the satori, followed by hogisland highwater, sunset then the golden nugget. We had to try the clam chowder and it did not disappoint. The fish and chips was absolutely delicious as well. Highly recommend and plan to return next time we visit.
A tiny local restaurant but with great surprises. They have the best food, real fresh seafood, and the best taste. All dishes were above our expectation. Servers were very attentive and did the best to meet our needs.

Popi's Oysterette is a cozy and smaller restaurant with a modest atmosphere, known for its excellent seafood selection. Notable dishes include the crab salad, grilled oysters, and gumbo, which are comparable to authentic New Orleans cuisine. The restaurant also offers outstanding hot courses such as the green chioppino and Rockefeller oysters, with the sauce of the cioppino especially praised for its taste. Guests have enjoyed the soft shell crab sandwich and the oysters, often praising the buttery and delicious oysters. The service is friendly and attentive, contributing to a great dining experience. Many visitors appreciate the quick service and the relaxing ambiance, perfect for enjoying seafood while watching people outside. While prices are slightly high, the addictive fries and overall quality make the visit worthwhile. Some dishes like deviled eggs and popcorn shrimp are considered just okay, and the cod tacos received mixed reviews. Overall, Popi's Oysterette is a charming, cozy spot many consider a must-do for lunch and dinner, especially for fresh seafood in a relaxed setting.
