I have loved Izzy's for decades and am very sad that they will be closed for so long for renovations. As far as I am concerned, there was no need for any renovations as the restaurant is charming and the food consistently reliable and excellent. Also, due to Covid, their outside dining space was one of the nicest in the whole city. The BEST steak in the northern part of SF for my money. Great service, we always love the staff at Izzy's. Fun decor and enjoy the classic steakhouse feel. Good drinks. Highly recommend.

When we heard Izzy's was going to close for remodeling, we decided we HAD to have one more dinner there for old times' sake before it was... changed? Well, if it was up to the food there'd be no reason to remodel.
