Ray my favorite waiter was again 100% and made for an enjoyable evening. John's menu hasn't changed in at least ten and possibly more years. Some additions would be welcome. Nonetheless, John's Historical Grill is the ultimate San Francisco experience and I am happy to see it thrive. This was my first time visiting John’s Grill and it did not disappoint. The escargot and the salmon were amazing. I will be back every time I visit San Francisco.
We stayed in the area  of Union Square and not far from there of hop Skip and jump is John's Tavern and it started in 1908 and what a place. You feel transformed back in time when you see the beautiful photographs on the wall of all the actors back in the day and you see a beautiful display about the Maltese Falcon movie.
