I love these old establishments that can maintain relevance in the modern world. There’s no reason why it shouldn’t be as busy as Applebees on a Friday night. The food and drinks were fantastic and the staff was warm and inviting. These businesses are keys to a city and need to be maintained and supported.
Had a great solo meal at the bar with excellent service from all the staff. Eli on the plank was a fine bar man, efficient and friendly. Met owner Paul who is a real and authentic wharf historian -- his family intertwined with the Alioto clan for 70+ years. This isn't some corporate restaurant trying to be all things to all people.
