“I would eat here again if I was staying at the Hyatt house again. 5 stars for atmosphere because it is close enough to enjoy your food in your room! It is a good atmosphere outside by the truck too but not lots of seating or cute decor if thats what you're looking for.

I was given a free beignet, fresh and hot to enjoy while I waited.

They didn't have the burger when I was there and I was between the mushroom sandwich or a chicken thigh pita. If I could go back, maybe next time I would try the chicken pita. The mushroom sandwich was good but I am personally not a fan of very thick bread. The fries were delicious, thick cut fries and fried perfectly. Nice and hot. Friendly service“

“Lexie's Frozen Custard has some of the nicest customer service and best dessert in Berkeley. I've been a regular here for about a year now, and just realized I never wrote a review! When I fell outside their store, they offered me an ice pack. Today they gave me two cherries in my sundae, so I have sworn allegiance to them forever. My favorite flavor of the day that has ever happened is banana caramel, but I also have enjoyed most of their flavors of the day. If I don't like their flavor of the day, I get a brownie sundae or a lemon raspberry sundae. Anyway, very tasty, highly recommended.“

“The ladies who were working there today were really nice. I had a beef taco and it was very good. Spicy as we love it! It came with jalapeño, grilled onions and lime. I ate it at home with rice and salad, cucumber (picture with the plate). But the take away is well done, in a box and covered by foil paper.“

Im thinking since I paid that much it was included but they charged me separate for the goat about $6 and I ordered 2 extra $3.50 starch, Out the door like $49. they need a reasonable price 2 keep people coming back than a high price dat keeps people thinking maybe. “We ordered fried chicken, mac and cheese, greens, and yams for our work Black History Month event, and everything was absolutely delicious! The food arrived hot, fresh, and perfectly prepared.

“Even though we didn’t end up renting from City View Commissary, we felt compelled to leave a review because the experience and customer service were truly exceptional.

The venue itself is beautiful, clean, spacious, and thoughtfully maintained. & a kitchen space could be included in the rental. It’s the kind of space you can easily imagine transformed for a special event. But what really stood out was CJ’s kindness and humanity.

We had just lost our wedding venue only weeks before our wedding. An incredibly stressful and emotional situation and CJ was beyond understanding and compassionate. He was willing to work with us, took the time to listen to our needs, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. Even more impressively, he went above and beyond by connecting us with another venue that ended up being a better fit for our wedding, even while we were actively touring his space.

“I get stuck in this part of town for my kid's sports sometimes and this is the only food truck we go to. We tried a number of the others, and this one is consistently the best taste, value (3 tacos for $9)and portion sizes. “I would probably give Rasa Rasa 3.5 stars if that was an option. I’ve been there several times and they have a few good vegan options. The staff is very friendly, which is a nice extra. I liked the variety of ingredients in the gado gado, but it was a bit bland. The gado-rito was quite tasty and I would definitely order it again. However, it was disappointing that both dishes had very small amounts of tofu. Overall decent food and pleasant staff, but they need to bump up the protein in their vegan options. “We went to eat here tonight for the first time and they definitely did not disappoint! We ordered various things tacos, quesadillas, and a pambazo and they were all delicious. The meat was tenders, flavorful, super reasonable prices, and not greasy at all. Everything tasted really good and we will definitely be back!“

“I’m here to say that taco trucks are the royalty of tacos in the city. El ambre is no different. Their Birra tacos are not only tasty, they’re also priced extremely cheap. “While visiting San Francisco’s Presidio National Park and the nearby Walt Disney Family Museum on August 11 2023, we came upon several food trucks parked up, one of which was El Fuego Authentic Mexican. It had the longest line of them all so we figured the food must be good. The delicious smell also was a big draw! We joined the long line and waited patiently for 15 minutes to be served. As we neared the truck, a lady crossed out the fish tacos on the menu - they must have been popular. We had to quickly rethink what we’d like to order. We went for the following (to share): 🌮 Combo de Lux 🥤 Mexican Coca-Cola (500ml in glass bottles) x 2 The Combo de Lux consisted of: Soft taco x 1 Mulita (sandwich taco) x 1 Quesabirria x 1 Consommé (broth) Pots of mild and spicy salsa We were given a pager so we would know when to return to the hatch. It was an exciting 10 minute wait while the tasty delights were freshly prepared inside the food truck. We took our food over to some large plastic rocking chairs on the Main Parade Lawn (opposite the Walt Disney Family Museum) and tucked in without delay. The food was incredible: full of birria-style beef, cheesy, spicy, tasty, juicy. We had to take great care when eating it, as it was a breezy day and we didn’t want to make a mess. The consommé was new to us. We didn’t dip the quesabirria into the broth - we drank it! The flavors were very rich, with a little spicy kick. El Fuego really was a good choice and just what we needed for lunch having walked many miles around San Francisco. These were our first authentic tacos in California and the benchmark has now been set very high!“
