“Really delicious! Generous topping amount and not too sweet ice cream (perfect). You can get whipped cream and a (high quality, dark) maraschino cherry on top of your scoop.

Our only gripe would be that the texture is more like a soft serve and not like the thick custard we are used to (for example: from Rita’s). The portion is also a bit small but none of these notes would bring my stars down because we would definitely return!!“

“Delicious momos... One of the best part of our San Francisco visit was to try all the authentic tastes of flavorful Momos from Momolicious. My best would be Kathmandu Jhol Momo and Fiery Momo. And not to forget the kwati soup on a rainy day. We literally filled our tummy tasting all the items on the menu whole day. And we are glad we did it .So proud of you Anup Bajracharya!! “I was pretty annoyed when my credit card machine kept glitching and they didn't have cash to make change, but the al pastor tacos more than made up for it. I keep coming back becuase they load up the tortillas with tons of meat and the salsa verde actually has a kick to it. I just wish they would fix thier parking situation because its a total mess trying to grab a spot. That said, its still my go-to spot when im craving something quick and authentic.“

Easy to pick up to-go or chill at the tables they have outside. I got 4 tacos for $17. Well worth the price and always happy to support small local businesses like this. This was a great way to celebrate Cinco De Mayo.“

“Even though we didn’t end up renting from City View Commissary, we felt compelled to leave a review because the experience and customer service were truly exceptional.

The venue itself is beautiful, clean, spacious, and thoughtfully maintained. & a kitchen space could be included in the rental. It’s the kind of space you can easily imagine transformed for a special event. But what really stood out was CJ’s kindness and humanity.

We had just lost our wedding venue only weeks before our wedding. An incredibly stressful and emotional situation and CJ was beyond understanding and compassionate. He was willing to work with us, took the time to listen to our needs, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. Even more impressively, he went above and beyond by connecting us with another venue that ended up being a better fit for our wedding, even while we were actively touring his space.

That level of integrity, empathy, and genuine care is rare. City View Commissary is not only a lovely venue, but it’s run by people who truly care about others and that matters. We’re incredibly grateful to CJ and highly recommend City View Commissary to anyone looking for a space and an outstanding team behind it.“

I’ve traveled throughout Baja/BCS, and I would say that these are on par with those if not better. The batter was not too heavy and you could really taste the fish - the slaw + salsa was in perfect balance. I think the fish was better than the shrimp tacos, but will need to eat many more to really know.

I got the ceviche crude and it was better than fancy restaurants with stunning views of the Pacific.

“I can’t say enough good things about this place. From the vibes to the music to the employees to the coffee everything is amazing. I have been to more local coffee shops than I can count trying to find a dark roast that I like and it’s a struggle. Most places only offer more citrusy coffee which I don’t prefer. Soul Blends offers an amazing dark roast that is smooth and delicious. Their staff is always friendly and answers all of my many questions. Their lattes are top notch and not overly milky like some places. This is the perfect spot to get a coffee, read a book, and just decompress.“

“I'm from the southeast and grew up eating some of the best BBQ in the world. I've also had BBQ all over the US, including Texas, Kansas City, Tennessee, Georgia, and the Carolinas. Roderick's doesn't beat the BBQ from back home, but for California BBQ standards, it was a solid 10/10. Overall I'd give them an 8/10 if we're comparing across the entire US BBQ space. We tried smoked chicken and ribs with coleslaw and baked beans. It was delicious and we will be back. Thanks Roderick's for the friendly and quick service!“

The churros are delicious in their own or with a variety of fillings. My favorite is the caramelo (caramel) filling that's made with goat milk. (It's like dulce de leche but warrrrrm.)

The people who run it are also the owners, which means they're invested in creating a friendly, community atmosphere and gladly cater to special requests.

Be prepared to pay either cash, use Zelle or get cash back from the nearby Mexican grocer. There's no option for card payments!“

“Felt like I was back in the motherland (Mexico). The dark, sketchy street just adds to the atmosphere. This place takes zelle if you don't have cash. The tacos are 3 bucks a pop, and they fill them fat. Best dang taco I've had in a while.“

“You can easily miss this truck tucked away on the corner of a parking lot. They are busy non stop on a Saturday night. They are quick to get you your food though.

The Al Pastor had great flavor with a slight sweetness of pineapple. Pairs well with their salsa, which is neither red or green, but it was delicious. The Asada was good too, with good taste and texture. The Lengua was very tender and went well with the salsa too.

I will def be back to try the other Cortes and horchata. My only suggestions is they should use order numbers or get a name to the order. They read out whole order for pickup and it gets confusing. Would save them and customers time.“

“We went to eat here tonight for the first time and they definitely did not disappoint! We ordered various things tacos, quesadillas, and a pambazo and they were all delicious. “I would probably give Rasa Rasa 3.5 stars if that was an option. I’ve been there several times and they have a few good vegan options. The staff is very friendly, which is a nice extra. I liked the variety of ingredients in the gado gado, but it was a bit bland. The gado-rito was quite tasty and I would definitely order it again. However, it was disappointing that both dishes had very small amounts of tofu. Overall decent food and pleasant staff, but they need to bump up the protein in their vegan options.
