“Oaks Corner is unreasonably convenient. I can walk in, select a big fresh prepackaged salad, and be out the door with my luch in hand, in minutes. Or I can get a booth, order coffee, get online using their WiFi, and enjoy a hot pancake breakfast. This is a local watering hole. Winners celebrate. Losers console themselves. A drink is the mutual symbol of having tried. The entire bar staff are friendly. Parking and transit are easy.“

“This spot is definitely your old school neighborhood bar where everyone knows each other. I was there for a bday celebration.... it was cool for a random eveing. They had kareoke and one pool table. Cocktails seemed to ok for the crowd; no quality wine selections for me so it was a dry night. Overall the music made it was enjoyable.“

“Locals unite. No one can it nicer than Cat Ho, the bar director at Arcana in the standard.

On nights when she’s able to leave Arcana before 11 p.m., Ho pops over to this 33-year-old dive. She says all the items are hits but gives special shoutouts to what the menu calls the “classic schnitzz” ($13), a take on a fried chicken sandwich, and the “bent totzz” ($12), which sees tater tots smothered with bacon, shredded cheddar, lettuce, house sauce, and a mountain of pickled jalapeños. But the draw for Ho is the “din din noodzz” ($8), a plate of spicy yakisoba noodles stir-fried in a peanut sauce and sprinkled with herbs, bell peppers, and seasoned peanuts, to which she adds a piece of fried chicken ($9). “After a long shift or night out, that’s pretty much all I’m craving.”

“This was my 1st visit to San Francisco on my birthday! Hidive was welcoming, with great staff, good drinks, and a great bar top food menu! Started the day out there with margaritas, and stopped back in for some wings and a nightcap at the end of the day. It was great!“

“Honestly the whole experience was more than I could have imagined. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and we were not disappointed. The three course menu options and wine accompaniment selections were awesome. Mateo, our server, was a gem! And the views... This dining experience has been the highlight of our trip!“

“This place was very cutesy. The atmosphere was very calm. The music was mid. The snacks they had were very good plus they hand reasonable prices for happy hour. I enjoyed ever food item proudly as it was so good I ordered multiple because some of the portions were small.“

“Lady E was in full effect last night! I love the ambiance here and the bathroom was clean and orderly. Bartenders made good drinks. The shoestring fries were a bit too crispy...but they were good. Well seasoned. The live music 🎶 here sets the mood. There is some dusting needed up in the rafters and ceiling area and maybe a deep cleaning in the near future. Overall clean and I would return, especially to hear Lady E and her live band sang the blues 💙 🎶“

“The decor and ambience is very modern while still maintaining the original design and foundation. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Place gets busy even during baseball games. Went here before the giants game and was quite impressed. I’d love to come back next time I’m in town. The food and drinks were impressive and left me wanting more. “The burgers were fresh, juicy and flavorful. The tater tots were so crispy, crunchy. They had amazing texture and they crumbled in your mouth, very good. The portion size was plentiful. The only complaint I have was the service was really lax and forgetable and you can tell they don't clean the tables thourghly between patrons. When I went to use the salt and pepper it was grossly sticky and it got stuff on my belongings I put on the table.“

“Checked out Candlestick Sports Bar mainly to play pool, and it was a good time. One game is $2, or you can get three games for $5, which feels fair.

The pool table is in good shape. The space around them is a bit tight, so a few shots can be tricky, but nothing that takes away from the fun. It’s the kind of place where you can just relax, play a few games with friends, and unwind.

Good vibe, chill crowd, and a solid neighborhood spot to hang out and shoot some pool.“
