Joe is great. After our Uber drive dropped us in the wrong place, Joe would tell us how to get there, he took us there. It was only at the end of the block, but meant the world to us. He wouldn’t accept a tip, so went back to have a beer after dinner. He remembered our name. He is the true meaning of customer service and I’ve told all of my friends to go see him at the Showdown. Best kept secret for dog lovers: Showdown SF. The whole team—staff to owner—treats our dogs like they’re part of the family. They bake their own dog treats, and honestly, my pups request them every time we visit. The beef patties are great too. And Tiana? She’s the best—always taking great care of us. If you have a dog and want a place that actually cares, this is your spot.
