“It’s is a calm atmosphere with great service“

“Lady E was in full effect last night! I love the ambiance here and the bathroom was clean and orderly. Bartenders made good drinks. The shoestring fries were a bit too crispy...but they were good. Well seasoned. The live music 🎶 here sets the mood. There is some dusting needed up in the rafters and ceiling area and maybe a deep cleaning in the near future. Overall clean and I would return, especially to hear Lady E and her live band sang the blues 💙 🎶“

“Seriously going to miss this place a lot. The punk shows at night were always fun and energetic. During the day, it was an excellent spot for all sorts of groups to meet up ranging from baseball teams to Polaroid camera nerds. This combination of seamlessly encouraging such different kinds of passionate people reflected the culture of SF pretty accurately. They held onto an independent spirit without settling on specific theme.

“This was my 1st visit to San Francisco on my birthday! Hidive was welcoming, with great staff, good drinks, and a great bar top food menu! Started the day out there with margaritas, and stopped back in for some wings and a nightcap at the end of the day. It was great!“

“Joe is great. After our Uber drive dropped us in the wrong place, Joe would tell us how to get there, he took us there. It was only at the end of the block, but meant the world to us. “Visited on a cold Saturday night and the ambiance was very cozy and warming. Lots of TVs for your sports needs. The bar had a good selection of drinks and the menu was solid. We got the smash burgers and they were very tasty and filling—lots of grilled onions for an onion lover such as myself. The garlic fries had plenty of Parmesan cheese and very crispy. I can’t wait to visit again and try something new! P.S. the self-serve water station has ice cubes! As someone who drinks tons of water, this was a very small but great detail.“

“Checked out Candlestick Sports Bar mainly to play pool, and it was a good time. One game is $2, or you can get three games for $5, which feels fair.

The pool table is in good shape. The space around them is a bit tight, so a few shots can be tricky, but nothing that takes away from the fun. It’s the kind of place where you can just relax, play a few games with friends, and unwind.

“This spot is definitely your old school neighborhood bar where everyone knows each other. I was there for a bday celebration.... it was cool for a random eveing. They had kareoke and one pool table. Cocktails seemed to ok for the crowd; no quality wine selections for me so it was a dry night. Overall the music made it was enjoyable.“

“I lived in SF my whole life until I got married and moved to the south bay but never got a chance to try this place, until my hubby and I did our now annual staycation. And boy were we pleasantly surprised!

Best homemade spaghetti EVER! I told my hubby, I'd come back just for this pasta pomodoro. Perfect al dente and chew from a homemade pasta vs dried smothered with a perfect pomodoro sauce and baby tomatoes and parm that made the hot dish almost creamy. Just reviewing that dish cuz it was incredible.

Service was also impeccable. Also got to see the Pied Piper mural by a famous early 20th century artist Mayfield Parrish that our neighboring table shared with us. Cute.“
