“First off this has been at this location for years and it’s definitely time for some of the booth back cushions to be replaced. I went here for breakfast on 11/2/24 and our waitress Carla was absolutely awesome. I think the location was short staffed and I have to admit Carla was working her butt off providing great service to all the patrons she was assigned all over the whole restaurant. She stayed smiling and was still attentive to us and that’s really cool and she was in costume. The food was really good and came out pretty fast due to the place having lots of folks. Only thing you gotta watch out for is the pricing on the Build Your Own Omelette. Each thing you add is 3.00 on top of the 15.00 omelette price and at most other Iphop it’s only 1.29 for each ingredient added.“

“Nice cafe with a good selection of drinks and food right off the main thoroughfare. Upon walk in you are able to see a menu showcasing all of their drinks and food. They have acai bowls, a huge assortment of pastries, crepes, etc. everything has Brazilian flair which was cool. We ordered acai bowls which are big for their size and jam packed full of fresh fruit. Honestly, one of the best acai bowls I’ve had, presentation wise and taste wise. The coffees were also good, but nothing spectacular. The light pastry we ordered was very good and fluffy. You can see the assortment of pastries as you go through the check out, as it’s a bit like a school lunch line. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a trendy but quiet spot to have a good meal and a cup of coffee.“

Fantastic breakfast, everything looked extremely good as we had the please to sit with perfect views of the kitchen the second time.

Anyways, we got the Iced Butterfly Lychee Fizz, Thai Milk Tea, Vietnamese Dalgona Coffee, Orange Mimosa, Banana French Toast Combo, Spicy Bacon Benedict, Fried Chicken & Waffle, and the Bo Luc Lac. Out of the items we tried, the Iced Butterfly Lychee Fizz was my favorite drink because of how pretty and refreshing it was, while the Spicy Bacon Benedict was my favorite entree since it wasn’t too messy.

“This cafe is a must try in Oakland. I was greeted with a warm welcome upon arrival by the owner V. You can tell he loves what he does and gives everyone a personal experience. I was laughing before I even sat down. I ordered the bulgogi omelette with a side of rice. The presentation of the dish was on point. I especially loved the hot sauce rack they have. A colorful selection! V was kind enough to share his personal favorite, which you’ll have to find out for yourself, haha. The omelette was nice and cheesy with a nice portion of protein, just the way I like it. Koffee Pot embodies the true meaning of a local restaurant, everyone that stopped by had a good relationship with the owners, you can tell people love coming here.
