On the newer side of breweries in the Berkeley area (for me at least) Tried a little something of every beer style so I can cosign em. Their triple westie won a blind taste test over pliny the younger at city beer store for all you people stuck in the past. Newer breweries make hella noise, too!
4++ Brewery that isn't a large space, but a sleek and stylistic space. The vibe here was pretty chill and the beertender was very friendly. I was with two beer appreciative friends. We came here to check out the spot on our way to a dinner reservation in Berkeley on a Saturday night. Full disclosure: I'm more of a wine drinker than a beer one. Physically I think this place is a beautiful place to hang out. It's kind of a modern industrial take on a biergarten with high ceilings and lots of wood and stainless steel. I've never seen it anything but spotlessly clean. When the weather is warm I definitely prefer hanging out on the patio area in front.
