The space is impeccably clean, with a vibrant energy, especially as they were showing the World Cup soccer on their big screens. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, making every guest feel welcome. I ordered the 10-inch Crispy Garlic Veggie, known as the Veggie Gourmet, and it was a revelation. The white sauce was a perfect canvas, topped with fresh mushrooms, artichoke hearts, roma tomatoes, and a generous blend of cheese—mozzarella and parmesan. Chopped garlic, oregano, and green onions added just the right brightness. Every bite was a harmony of flavor and texture. “Wonderful healthy vibrant food that is well presented…especially for takeout. 🩷. The person that took my order was super friendly and efficient. The food came out quickly! Loved the lemony green juice and organic chicken. The tahini cookies are giant and tasty but would be slightly better with a bit more salt in the dough or a bit of flake salt on the top. Also tasted my friend’s soup, and it was super yummy 😋 too! Note, this is a takeaway place with a few outdoor tables. Other than wanting more salt in my cookie, I loved everything.“

The best part is my area has brick and mortar stores where I just walk in and buy my meal prep for the week...Meals cooked in a local kitchen by real chefs with local fresh ingredients. I'm busy all the time and although I love cooking it's hard to cook for just one person. The majority of meals are 600 calories or less. An easy way for me to stay in my calorie deficit. The good:

Bettenjan bi tahina: So flavorful! Loved all the sauces, and the dish came together beautifully — healthy food with great presentation.

The not-so-good:

Portion sizes were quite small, so we left feeling a bit unsatisfied.

The sumac spritz tasted mostly like sugar water with barely any other flavor.

Overall, a nice place if you’re looking for healthy options, though it would be great to see some chicken kebabs for non-vegetarians and falafel choices for vegetarians.“

“The food was good, but there was a significant delay with my Snackpass pickup. My order number was incorrectly labeled, causing the food to sit on the counter for over 20 minutes until I spoke up about not receiving my food three separate times. No compensation, just an apology.

“Honestly one of the best pizza crusts I've ever had. I had the focaccia spring special pizza - with squash blossoms and burrata. The Pear Basil Gimlet is one of the best mocktails I've ever had. The brussels are dark brown and crispy and melty. Plus - LOTS of gluten free options!

I rarely have a meal where every single part of it is delicious. This place is a treat, I'd highly recommend it.“

The food was absolutely delicious, they took care of *everything* in the venue, and they were truly a joy to work with. Cecy was very responsive, professional, and patient with our many questions and requests. During the reception, the staff was wonderful with the passed appetizers and the bar, and the servers took care of us (bride and groom) with special attention. Literally my only complaint is that the chairs are uncomfortable and the tables are small, but bigger tables wouldn't fit in the restaurant. You can get comfier chairs though!!!“

They were quick, well priced and delicious. The perfect quick bite.“

“Lao/Thai Cuisine family favorite! Small business owners who serve their heart and soul into their customers!

We came for New Years Eve as our plan to BBQ got ruined due to the rain that day.

We started with some hot tea, sodas and even Thai tea.

We ordered a little bit of everything and shared in between all 10 of us.

• Egg Rolls were extra crispy (exactly how we love them) and filling was yummy.
• Chicken & Beef Pad Thai which were perfectly sautéed and with a squeeze of lime on top was perfect!
• Lamb Curry was a hit on our table. Just like it came in; it was gone easily! The curry sauce with white rice is a must try!
• Salmon Curry was another hit. Grandma loved it! And if she’s happy we were happy!
• Crab Fried Rice was really good and it was big chunks of crab. Flavors brought me back to the street food of Chiang Mai. A lot of places lack on that detail.
• Pho Lao Style was delicious and with that extra lime squeeze was even better. Lots of noodles and beef to go through. Very filling. Had to order it since it was so cold outside.
• Spicy Eggplant was a little too spicy for me but family enjoyed it!
• We also had 3 other veggie dishes I can’t remember the names which were devoured very quickly!

For dessert:

• Mango Sticky Rice was okay but nothing special. Mango was perfectly ripe in a way it wasn’t too ripe if you know what I mean.
• Fried Banana with Strawberry Ice Cream. Delicious! Dessert is huge!

“This establishment is always quick with their service. However, expedited efficiency doesn't make up for the packaging mistakes. The last 3x I've visited this specific location there has always been a discrepancy with my order. Not a completely wrong order, it's usually minor mistakes; waffle fries instead of yogurt fruit cup, or pickles vs NO pickles. But they've always corrected it expeditiously & with genuine apologies. I will continue to patron this establishment, but unfortunately will always feel the need to inspect my order before driving away. Plus, I'm not a fan of how they have laid out the drive thru lanes.
Overall:
My advise for the management, please have employees double check orders & specifics, prior to handing it to the customer. This in the long run will save $ & time overall.“

“Mezzo is a Berkeley staple. This place stays busy all day and for good reason. SO many of their options and items are baked or made in house and it really makes a difference. Most of the staff is extremely friendly, quick, and helpful as they usually have quite a long line. Tip, you can skip the line and order drinks at the counter as well if you are just looking for an espresso drink and no meal. The cowboy cookie here is an absolute gem and is packed with so many ingredients, it usually takes me 3-4 days to finish one. Another tip, the standard for mustard here is dijon which is absolutely criminal and I had to toss my first few orders from here as I was unaware of the dijon situation. Since then, I have learned they also have regular mustard, I have been a regular customer and won't be stopping anytime soon. Thank you Mezzo for great service and food!“

Currently you have to pre-order a day in advance for pickup so it takes a little planning but so worth it.Their fried chicken is so crispy. I ordered it with waffle fries and they say they only fire up the fries just before your pickup time so that they're fresh. When I went to pick up my order, they let me know it would just be a few minutes because the fries were finishing and when he came out with my order, he said he accidentally made the salad but included both the fries and salad and threw in a vanilla pudding. Everything was so delicious. Even the bonus pudding had flecks of vanilla bean and tasted so much better than the instant stuff. The chicken and fries were enough for 2 meals.“
