“We were pleasantly surprised with the food choices and the beer selection. The beer I wanted to try was not on tap but all other beers met our expectations. The falafel plate was great, as well as all the burgers we ordered. Fries, potato salad, and side salad were fresh. The place was not crowded on Friday night after sunset when all the golfers were gone, I guess. Google maps routed us through some back alley but we found the main road on the way out. Plenty of parking and looks like a very secure neighborhood.“

It had a nice crunch and tasted amazing, it had eggplant my favorite! We did order the crab balls which were alright but it did come with a yummy orange creamy sauce. “A pizza is not just a pizza at this restaurant. It's very different and very good. They call it a pinsa... cloud like pizza. Their description is accurate. It's crispy outside and soft inside... and delicious. We ordered 2 pinsas. One has the same name as the restaurant and was soooooo good, very tasty. We enjoyed both. Their octopus appetizer was one of the best I've ever eaten. Simple preparation that allowed the quality ingredients to shine. The octopus was fresh and tender... not chewy. My spouse loved the grilled exterior of the octopus. I was sorry we did not order 2 of them. Salome our server was wonderful. Her suggestions about the food and wine were spot on. Her only mistake was not suggesting that I order my own octopus appetizer... Still we hope she is our server when we return. Our next time will be for dinner in order to enjoy their full menu.“

“Pretty good restaurant in Walnut Creek for some classic Italian dishes. The dining space is clean and gives more of an open family feeling to the place. They do also have a nice bar by the front that is kind of separated from the rest of the dining area. The drinks are a little hit or miss here, though. They do skimp on thr alcohol a little bit here, so make sure you order a more liquor-heavy drink or stick with their selection of wines. The food is great and really delicious. There was nothing that our table did not enjoy eating. They do have changing specials, and I highly recommend trying them. The desserts were also very good. Make sure to try their tiramisu since they do give a good portion of it. Overall a great place to take a date or the family.Dietary restrictions: They are able to serve gluten-free pasta upon request.Parking: There are plenty of parking garages if you want to spend money. Not that much free street parking around, though.Kid-friendliness: Good place to take kids for a nice meal with the family.“

“Went here for the first time with my family for a family dinner, and we had an excellent experience. I had the Inc Nachos, which was a massive portion and quite delicious. They make the quest in house, it's beer cheese and it has a darker, richer flavor than most quest and it isn't overwhelming. Everyone else enjoyed their food and we had excellent service (I'd like to give a shout out to the server, but I forgot his name! Brown, curly hair, shaved sides, Caucasian guy). The Doolittle Bar • $

“Love the Doolittle. Remodeled about 10 years ago and has a very good and friendly crowd of people. Recent Thursday karaoke visit was enjoyable. This bar has a great crowd of people. Nobody rowdy and nobody who can't handle their alcohol. I would say people are about 30 years old on average - its not really the place 21 year olds come for their first drink. Remodeled about 10 years ago and it still looks great. If the last time you were here was long long ago you need to see the place. Wooden siding gives it a warm atmosphere - its almost like your in a cabin. You will be blown away with how they did so much with such a small space. This is a very cozy bar. Very friendly. I love the tiny outdoor covered patio. Its great for smoking and the tall fence between the parking lot and the building makes for a comfortable space to be. If you need a place a little more quiet to talk this is your best bet. Karaoke was impressive. There was such talent singing all the songs from mostly 20 years ago. Sappy love songs and other favorite hits. Voices were very very good. I can't tell you how many paid cover bands I listen to that are horrible. Tonight (Friday) I was at the Elevate Lounge and the (paid) singer was horrible. Horrible, horrible. I suppose thats what sparks me to write this right here right now. If your in the Hayward San Leandro area don't hesitate to come here an extra mile.“

“FINALLY a spot in downtown Pleasanton that stays open past 10 pm! Thank Goodness. Dancing, chillin, catching up with friends and making new ones is now possible at a later hour. This is often where we all end up after the brew crawls, or birthday dinners. They have nice seating, photo ops, clean restrooms, and tasty beverages. I always have fun, and I want to give this spot 5 stars- but I will say that the service is so hot and cold. I don't mean that there is a wait when they're busy, I mean that there is a wait if you're unlucky enough to get one of the stuck up bartenders. Twice now I've had the same arrogant self absorbed dbag sort of stare past me with no interest in taking my beverage request whatsoever. I don't think that every bartender has to give me a kiss on the cheek and do a cartwheel when we walk in, but that smug attitude is so unnecessary. I know that sometimes drunk people can be a little extra, but you chose this job. They're not all unfriendly, some are awesome, and I'll only tip the ones who are decent from now on. The Middle 8 has a smaller bar for private parties. We were there last night for my friend's birthday. Our bartender was great, and some of the other guys should take notes from him.“

I’m not an onion rings fan but they service good rings. Wings are decent. Wings are huge and only $5 during HH.Drinks are good. The only con is everything is salty so you drink more. It’s not overly salted, it’s just a lot of salt overall.“

“This is a nice bar to hang out and have a good drink. Drinks will cost you from $15-$20 each. They have nice vintage looking decor and lounge seating. It is very laid back, but has an upscale feel for downtown Danville. I enjoyed my French 75, and will be back with friends for another drink sometime soon.“

“One bartender charged me $17 for a pitcher. I gave her a $20 bill and she took it and said thanks without offering change assuming i was giving her the whole thing. I didn't go back up till the other bartender arrived and only went to that one the rest of the night. I never bothered complaining cause i didn't want any grief. I was there to have a good time so I'm just putting it here instead.Vegetarian options: I guess liquor would be considered vegetarian compliantDietary restrictions: They have light beer and hard liquor and water which would have less calories than some beers and winesParking: There is parking in front but fills up if it's busy. Rear parking is shared by neighboring businesses that leave vehicles parked full time so it varies. I got lucky and found parking very close as I arrived a little earlier than some.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all. It's a bar. 21 and over only.Wheelchair accessibility: Barely compliant as it does get packed but they will cater to wheelchair clients.“

“I've been to Retro Junkie a couple of times since going to the 80's prom NYE party which was a blast. I also went with my partner to take Salsa lessons and we had a great time. I love the vibe of this place, it's clean, and the staff are really nice. I can't wait to go back for more music and dancing.“

“My absolute favorite restaurant in Walnut Creek. Local, fresh ingredients, farm to table style food. The menu changes often to keep up with the season foods. The cocktails are creative and artisanal, no basic drinks here! From their omelettes to the pasta to the grilled pesto panini- I could eat here everyday!“

“Me and my wife stopped in on Christmas eve in the early afternoon. Not many people in and we had never eaten there. Got seated quickly. Wife ordered the burrito vegano and I got a al pastor burrito. The burritos were huge and the salsa that came with them was amazing and nicely spicy. We hadn't eaten breakfast so having a huge meal was nice, didn't need to eat much for dinner that night. I also had the Mexican mocha which was really nice.We came back a few weeks later on a Sunday, it was much busier and noisier but it is a small place and it was pretty full. We got seated and our server from last time came over to say hi and that she remembered us. This time my wife ordered the tofu fajitas bowl and I ordered the torta ahgada which I was warned was very spicy which was good for me. Food came out quickly for how busy they were. My torta was fantastic and the spice was right on, it cleared my sinuses that was for sure. Service both times was great and the food was spectacular. Will be coming back here often.“
