i’ come from marin to eat here with friends
today i had 2 friends for lunch and we got 1buffet and 2 meals . i asked the young lady if i got a buffet could i take it out with my meal . i guess she misunderstood me and preferred to throw it away as to let me take it home
i won’t return again. although food is good
all the ethiopian restaurants nearby are good
First time trying Ethiopian food. It was great. Combination plate with my daughters.
This is the best Ethiopian restaurant in the East Bay that I know of. The injera here is very good, and the portions are large. The biggest problem is that it can be difficult to find a parking. The parking lot is small and street parking can be challenging

Addis is a beloved Ethiopian restaurant that has been serving delicious food for years. The combo platters are a popular choice, allowing customers to add extra items and eat with their hands. Standout dishes include the Addis combo, kitfo, and fish goulash, with many customers recommending the veggie combo as it offers plenty of food. The restaurant is known for its good customer service and traditional gluten-free injera, making it a favorite among veggie lovers. Many visitors praise its authentic atmosphere, noting that the inside is quiet and cozy, with background music, and it is often described as a hidden gem. The service is generally good, although some customers have mentioned feeling pressured to order more than they needed. The restaurant has a small parking lot, which can be a little inconvenient. Customers also suggest trying the shiro mot and Fassolia, which are highly praised for their exceptional flavors. Overall, Addis remains a top spot to enjoy authentic Ethiopian food in a welcoming setting.
