“What a hidden gem we have found in Walnut Creek. This quaint coffee shop cranks out brilliant lattes and pastries and is now the perfect lazy Sunday hang out spot for us. Our pup loved watching all the people & their dogs walk by. The place looks like a tiny castle and they have implemented a great system to order and pick up at different spots so that it doesn't get too crowded in one place. Parking is also easy as it's right across from parking lot which is free for 90 mins.“

“Stopped in to order take out after passing this place daily. The place is no frills but clean. I ordered the Shawarma time salad. The menu doesn't have a description of the salad but it's cucumber, tomato, radish, onion and cabbage with lots of sumac, then covered in chicken and beef shawarma. It was great. I was starving so I got the large salad. They didn't skimp on the protein. It's great to have a healthy lunch option in the area. I'll be back to try the plates and wraps!“
“We tried their brunch menu and was not disappointed. We ordered from the most friendly staff at the window the Andouille Shrimp and Grits which had creamy cheddar grits, the breakfast sandwich with home style fried potatoes, Banana Bread Louise which is banana bread french toast with Bananas Foster topping and a Grains in Purgatory bowl which had farrow. Roasted vegetables and two sunny side up eggs topped with chili crisp. I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful the Grains in Purgatory was considering it was mostly vegetarian except for the eggs. It has the right amount of spice and the farrow had a nice bite. The breakfast sandwich had scrambled egg and thickly sliced bacon and arugula, the home fries that came on the side were perfectly seasoned and crispy. Those potatoes were the bomb! The gravy on the shrimp and grits was a little too salty for me but those creamy cheddar grits were so rich and smooth. Get the Banana Bread Louise to share for dessert! It's amazing! I look forward to trying items on their lunch menu especially the jerk salmon“
“Oh wow, I'm so glad I found this place! I visit Berkley often for work and to visit my son who's a student. This is hands-down the best breakfast option around. The oatmeal bowls are absolutely delicious, as are the smoothies. Everything is high-quality and fresh. “I love Teaspoon boba—they easily have the best honey boba around, and such delicious drinks. I visit regularly. However, today’s visit was a major bummer. My husband had never been and he ordered the honeycomb banana milk latte. We used the touch screen in the shop to order, he ordered the drink as normal and added honey boba. When he received his drink, however, it had no honeycomb, which he mentioned to the man working. The man said “oh it’s not included anymore, it’s $1 extra.” We were very confused by this and my husband was quiet upset and disappointed. It feels like false advertising. Honeycomb is literally in the name ??♀️ Will likely choose other boba shops over this one that have better service and clearer descriptions of drinks without being shady about it.“

People absentmindedly linger near the door which can make ordering tougher. My boyfriend for the chicken parm and I got the original breakfast on a croissant. Waited only 5 minutes, and the food was delicious. “Stumbled across Delightful Foods in San Francisco this weekend at Clement Streets Farmers Market & the owner was passing out samples of their top selling pies 1) sweet potato 2) apple 3) key lime & 4) lemon cheese. I bought 3 pies & OMG the lemon cheese is soooo good like something you'd taste in a Michelin rated restaurant & the sweet potato pie is also very very good I should've bought more perfectly sized & priced but more so the delicious fresh taste! My daughter knew exactly who I was talking about as she also had their sweet potato pie at a few street fairs in Oakland. Definitely look out for them at upcoming street fairs near you!“

An absolutely phenomenal size for what I payed. My friend got the same thing. We had a lovely catch up visit over even lovelier tea! Couldn't recommend enough. My only advice? “Hornitos are very good but outside the restaurant there is a woman who sells tamales and the other day I went to buy tamales and pupusas and I told the woman to give me salsa and curtido because that's what pupusas carry and first she told me they were $18:00 dollars and once I was there and I asked the woman to give me what the pupusas contain, she charged me $3:00 dollars more because I had asked for the sauce and curtido, but at no time did she tell me that she was going to charge me extra until that he had already put them in the bag ?️ and he told me that everywhere they were already charging me separately for everything and I told him that that was not true because I buy pupusas in several places and that nowhere did they charge me extra because that is with what goes with that meal.“

“The food is very good. I ask for medium poached eggs, and I get them every time. It is incredibly hard nowadays to find REAL Hollandaise sauce..Egg yolks, real butter and lemon...it's here and good. I would also add the potatoes should have bell pepper and onion mixed in with them...imo...I will say this much, we were in there to sign paperwork for my daughter and her husband's very first house...we met there, specifically because it is an organic place, we had been there many times before. We were there this time to celebrate and sign papers. We were rushed out however, and it should have been noticed by the waiter that we were obviously celebrating... gift bags, mimosas, and an obvious celebratory atmosphere at our table.. pictures were being taken, and paper work everywhere... we were pushed out, the waiter was OBVIOUSLY annoyed that we had been sitting there longer than he deemed necessary, which was unfortunate. He was left, despite his obvious annoyance, a 30% tip. Other than that the food is very good and we will continue to come here. We WILL say, if we get "pushed out" again... it WILL be an issue. As an ex waitress myself, it is imperative that people understand in the service business, not everyone goes out to breakfast all the time, some of us go out to celebrate, to spend time together because we don't see each other that often..... we chose to come see you... it's important that that energy is picked up on. I understand the need to "turn" the table over, BUT when you have a table of six that's paying over $200+ for drinks, breakfast and time.... you should just back off and let us be. Read the table.“
