Went here for restaurant week, and the scallops over risotto was wonderful, but not as delicious as the beef wellington. The wine list allowed some perfect pairings, and the staff was great too. Five stars!
This was our third time back to Park Tavern after two mediocre experiences many years ago. Tried this during Alameda restaurant week 2024 and had a $40 & $60 prix fixe specials that included three courses which all four of us ordered. Definitely a great value. Salad, entrees and dessert appeared as normal portion sizes. Food was very good. My salmon was juicy and could use a little salt. But better under salted than too salty like most restaurants. Despite major ongoing renovations, this trusty local spot delivered. “Best steak I've ever had” sez our teen diner. Food, folks, all great even though bar is temporarily upstairs and dining downstairs. Can't wait to return when all done.
