honestly such a nice spot. their ipa was super fresh and the guy at the bar actually knew what he was talking about when i asked about the hops. the patio out back was chill and not too crowded even on a Saturday. im already thinking about when i can go back.

Alameda Brewing is a very cool, chill spot with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. It has an industrial-style interior with pinball tables, lots of seating, and a rotating gallery of work by local artists. The facility, including bathrooms, is clean and modern, and dogs are allowed. The beer selection is solid, with everything made in house; the West Coast IPA is smooth and easy to drink, and the red IPA is fantastic. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. There are non-beer options available. The food from next door at Monkey King, usually garlic noodles and wings, is greasy but delicious and pairs perfectly with the beer. The service is friendly, relaxed, and enthusiastic. Drawbacks include chairs that are not comfy and a very loud space with only hard surfaces. Alameda Brewing is a hidden gem perfect for hanging out, Tuesday Night Trivia, or private events like engagement parties.
