They do not respect their employees and recently fired the head brewer and general manager for just speaking up for the staff. Please Boycott AIBC there are plenty of other owners around worthy of your money.

Be sure to check out this Filipino-owned Brewery the next time you're in Alameda! They brew all of their beers in house and the varieties range from Light to Dark to even Fruity. I loooved their Calamansi Pilsner and ended up taking some cans home. If you're unsure what to get or want to do a sample of beers, try out one of their Flights or build your own!* Alameda Genuine Draft* Tell Me When to Mango* Sarap! Pilsner w/ Calamansi* Mutiny on the Bay* Ube Area* Sea Haggis* Sop 'N' GoIf you have a dog, bring them along because this place is dog friendly, even indoors! This place makes a great hang out spot and you can even grab food from the neighboring restaurants to eat with your beers or take your beers over to the restaurants. It's nice seeing a community of businesses supporting one another.

Nice place to hangout and taste good craft beers. Friendly staff who knows their products very well. For a new brewery, this place sure has a bright future with their Pale Ales.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and surprised even during all the football games going on there wasn't more people there. No matter the beer was delicious, the staff was friendly and a bunch of games to keep you occupied if you aren't watching TV or talking to people.Did pick up food from next door and was able to bring it over to eat here.

Ube.. Calamansi.. & Soursop Beer!!! Sometimes I get discouraged when I see places using these labels and fail to bring the flavor into them, but this was not the case. Every beer tasted so distinctive to the fruit. The soursop was 1000% spot on, definitely my favorite. Ube was rich and creamy with a nice aftertaste. Calamansi is calamansi and you can never go wrong with that. Will be coming back to buy growlers full.

Super cool chill spot for some good beers! Check out the food places next door (bring them on over) or bring your own meals. Plenty of tables and family friendly. I loved my Hefeweizen and hubby took home some hazy ipa's and sour beers home. Would absolutely come back. We parked a block or two away but it appears there is parking in the back.

Nice place on the main street with about a dozen offerings on tap. Most of what we tried was just okay, so hoping they rotate out a few brews soon. They do allow dogs indoors which was nice.

QUICK! You just entered Alameda after crossing over the emerald Park Street bridge (as seen in, The Net with Sandra Bullock) - beer me to your nearest brewery, brewmaster!I'm not 100% positive if Alameda Island Brewing Company IS the closest west side brewery one can find after immediately entering the island by way of bridge, but it's a damn great place to start your way down Park. Plus your pup can come in too! From the bridge at Park Street, take a left at Buena Vista to find the parking lot on your left immediately thereafter. Follow the path back towards Park Street between Crispin Bakery and Symmetry Yoga to the unassuming glass doors of Monkey King @ The Brewery. But wait, Dan th-!...trust me. This ain't my first rodeo, kid.Proceed to the Monkey King menu and place your order. Take your number and proceed out the doors on your left to find the patio and Alameda Island Brewing Company. Look at you! You just took a short cut, and prepped a snacky snack for your visit, thanks to AIBC's open door food policy.Food: Small snacks are available but as mentioned above, AIBC's open door food policy allows for outside snackies - which is always awesome when alcohol is involved. Thanks AIBC!Drink:Pick your poison. From Hef D, to crisp AGD, to crazy Island haze, to the salty sailor's Sea Haggis. There's something for everyone, and then some. Want to get to know AIBC better? Take a flight.Brewer's Choice Flight - $14 Light Flight - $14 Dark Flight Flight - $14 Hoppy Flight - $16 Build your own! (price varies on beer selection)I appreciate when the pros play with their food and drink. Spice it up, switch it up, or put a twist on a classic. Alameda Island Brewery Co. is deserving of the most prestigious pretend award on the island for most Pinoy Pint - and that's just for SARAP! Named after the Tagalog word for, "delicious" Sarap! is just that. A citrusy 5.0% pilsner featuring calamansi ($6 pint) found on-tap at AIBC...and if you're lucky, your local Seafood City too!Calamansi is a popular lemon/lime fruit native to the Philippines, perfect for cocktails and sweets. Menu not Filipino enough for you, ma'am sir? I dare you to dive into Ube Area, a 5.5% ube ale (6oz $7) derived from the purple yam and also very popular in Filipino cuisine. My go-to AIBC brew on a sunny Alameda day, AGD. Alameda Genuine Draft is an 'merica lite lager - 4.0% ($5 pint) and I can drink it all the live long day. Down at the bottom of the briny sea there's a new go-to day dreamer, Sea Haggis. A 8% smooth Scotch ale ($6 12oz) that warms the belly of any sea beast.Service: If you're from here, you feel at home here, and if you're not from here-I hope you feel at home here. If you haven't already caught the Alameda vibe-it's chill with a smile, man. The staff have always made me feel welcome, and desirous of keeping a tab open.BONUS! The online pickup/California shipping menu and keg rental. Build your own six pack or choose from the best sellers. Having a party? Bring your favorite AIBC on tap to you! (5.16 & 15.5 gal. available)Ambiance: Chill. Family-friendly kids OK, dogs too. Trivia Tuesday's, occasional live music (Friday), TVs for local sports, and groovy music all set the mood. I have yet to come across the loud, "crowded bar" experience here but I don't think that's a thing at Alameda Island Brewing Company. Pack your pockets full of quarters for nostalgia while you wet your whistle and play some old arcade games. I hear board games are also available so bring your A game. Cheers! Thanks for keeping Alameda hydrated Alameda Island Brewing Company!

We found Alameda brewing right here on Yelp during a Bay Area visit. Holly was great, she helped me to an amazing West Coast IPA called Coastal Classic. My wife had a Hefenweisen that was simply impeccable as well. We came to eat and drink at this pet friendly Brewing Giant off Park St, centrally located to all the great restaurants and eateries here on Park. High ceiling, cool tunes, and brewed right in house here in Alameda. We enjoyed having the ability to run food back and forth while enjoying Pac Man and more in their all in one arcade cabinet. Holly was super helpful and knew her beers head to toe, she's probably a Ciccerone for certain. We'll definitely be back to Alameda if not just to grab their new hats and beanies dropping in the next 2 weeks. Thanks Holly and the Alameda Island Brewing crew!! We love you guys, thanks for welcoming in a slice of OC into your spot, we can't get enough!!

A cool taproom in downtown Alameda. Alameda Brewing Co. offers a large assortment of beers by the flight or by the glass. I prefer the lighter beers, and my partner prefers the stouts. Last time we each had a flight, and both enjoyed ours. The taproom is conveniently located on Park St., within walking distance of restaurants and other downtown attractions. Ample seating, and the space is always clean, no dive factor here, yay. If you're hungry, there is a Monkey King right next door from which you can order. Try the garlic noodles and shishito peppers - nom. My only suggestion would be to mix up the music selection a bit. To each their own, but I can only listen to so much hard rock, lol. All in all, a great place to visit to sample some really good beers.
