“came here with a friend, on a Wednesday to celebrate her birthday. We arrived at about 11:20 AM. It was not very crowded at the time, but by lunch, it was very busy. We had great service, great food, great ambience. It was a sunny day, so it was great to be outside.“
“Be sure to check out this Filipino-owned Brewery the next time you're in Alameda! They brew all of their beers in house and the varieties range from Light to Dark to even Fruity. I loooved their Calamansi Pilsner and ended up taking some cans home. If you're unsure what to get or want to do a sample of beers, try out one of their Flights or build your own!* Alameda Genuine Draft* Tell Me When to Mango* Sarap! Pilsner w/ Calamansi* Mutiny on the Bay* Ube Area* Sea Haggis* Sop 'N' GoIf you have a dog, bring them along because this place is dog friendly, even indoors! This place makes a great hang out spot and you can even grab food from the neighboring restaurants to eat with your beers or take your beers over to the restaurants. It's nice seeing a community of businesses supporting one another.“
“I decided to write this review because I am currently staring at the leftover malt butter that was served with my warm pretzel and I am holding back the urge to Jell-O shot it right back into my mouth because it was BEYOND AMAZING and I would hate to waste such a gift. Get the pretzel, get the jugo Nuevo and get here if you're looking for your next spot to take the family, to take a date or to just take yourself! Also shout out to the staff for the quick service. Everything that could go right, did!“

“I haven't been here for many years. It's always been a Belgian beer bar. I'm not sure when Sante Adairius took it over but they've pretty much kept it the same as it was, in a good way. As I tend to drink IPA's, I was happy that they also had some on the menu. I tried the Left and Leaning, a non hazy that I really enjoyed. My friend had a very properly poured St. Bernardus (see photo). The service was great. Also on hand is a lovely, friendly Irish Setter. It was very fun when he visited our table. There's a nice $5 parking lot next door with an attendant. This alone would bring me back :)“
“We got the cheeseburger, cheese steak, fries, and corn fritters. I really didn't expect everything to taste THIS good but I was so pleasantly surprised!! Everything was so tasty and the drinks were even better!!! I LOVED the house made ranch and put that on everything. The owner and staff were also super kind - will def be coming back. They have odd hours so it's hard to catch when they're open but definitely worth it.“
“My favorite brewery in Oakland and it’s not even close. Large and diverse selection of beers such as IPA’s, malty ( schwarzbier, dopplebock, brown ale, etc), and light beers. the inside can be kind of tight but they have plenty of outdoor seating and the upstairs which has more seating and an entertainment area for kids. The customer service and the owners are always good people and there is food trucks always outside when I’m there which are quality as well. The only thing I can recommend is to watch your cars in the area. It’s still Oakland but I have yet to see a break in of my car or others but I would take valuables out. Other then that come visit this brewery, enjoy the amazing beers and good people.“
“Hands down the best spot to have a beer and talk with friends, neighbors, or strangers. It's not a large space, but always manages to have enough room to be more than comfortable. The ambiance is warm and inviting with a clean, minimalist look. The beer is stellar, and they always keep variety on tap. Hoi has become an anchor for the neighborhood.“
“The atmosphere at 2 Pitchers is always great, there are plenty of seating options. 2 Pitchers specializes in brewing RADLERS which are like fruitier beers that are lighter on the ABV than other popular craft beers. They have a good selection of their own brewed beers ($6 per pint) and then they also have a great variety of local beers from other craft brewers in the area which go for $8-10 per pint. They also have some wines but no liquor license. You can get a burger or fries from Lovely's (which always has a line!) and eat it here. There are indoor and outdoor seating options, and it is very dog and kid friendly.“
“I love this place. The chillers are awesome. I always want some random flavor combo & it's always on point. The service is my favorite. As much as I go there I don't know the guy at the registers name but he's always so nice. I get the turkey & cheddar a lot“
“An amazing local spot for coffee and conversation. I visited Oakland and a good friend and native insisted that we stop by. I'm so glad we did!!! It has an awesome atmosphere and real baristas making real drinks. Our batista was cool, skilled and sociable. We had a great conversation while he made our drinks real time! In a world where coffee is made by machines, it was great to have the human touch!“
“Okay, I've been back many times now. Something about this place makes me feel incredibly welcomed every time. The employees and the patrons are all just here to have a good time and make sure everyone is enjoying themselves. I mean I went in recently and they surprised a regular with a birthday cake! This spot has me locked in, it's got it's own little thriving community and I love it. I will keep coming back for the good times and especially the Underberg.“
“Sounds like they have jazz and local acts for live music on a regular basis - we went on a Wednesday and Bob Scott Trio was playing. They were so much fun to listen to and watch! Nice guys too when we had a chance to chat in between sets.Chicken Sammie buffalo style was pretty good - large though, went home with leftovers! Super sturdy bread which was delicious.“
“We’ve been in multiple times, enough to almost be “regulars”. Every experience has been better than the last. The food is amazing. Michael really kills it with all of his regular menu items and totally knocks it out of the park with his specials! Oh, and the beer…??!! Delicious. We love that we can always take a few of our favorites home with us to enjoy between visits. Super friendly staff, we love Sophia and Chris and look forward to getting to know all the new folks too. Highly recommend. Easy parking. Super safe area.“
“At first glance you think this place is kitsch made real (and it is) but the food is original and good and the drinks are a delight. Yes, it's kitschy, but it's moved past that into "classic".Parking: Take a Lyft! Parking is terrible.“
“One of the most unique cafes in Berkeley, worth a visit for sure! Nice working atmosphere, decent snack and small bite selection, solid drinks and friendly and efficient service. Love the board games theme and concept of the cafe and hope to have the time to try it out one day. Seems to have a strong community and would definitely come back with friends later on. Honey lavender latte is very nice. Some of the drink flavors are more subtle but the baristas are very friendly and were happy to add more and adjust to your preferences.“
“Stopped by midweek and this place did not disappoint. Easy ordering via phone, prompt service, and delicious food. We got the Blue Heat 50/50 style and the Ramen 50/50 plus a strawberry boba. Both hot dogs were perfect with the right amount of cheese pull and loaded with flavor. We also got the Sriracha mayo which I highly recommend. Boba with fantastic; not too sweet with good flavor and the right amount of chew texture.“
“Great folks on staff, always ready to recommend good beers. They always have a good food option, with different vendors coming in on different days. ALWAYS an amazing beer selection, be sure to get some beers to go from the fridge doors as “
“The Elbo Room has been great to us! We as a band have played a few shows so far and it's always a fun turnout! Jimmy and Dean have created a vibrant space with amazing music and tasty cocktails! Most of all, the staff is extremely friendly! Thank You for having us and for sharing your space with us!! We can't wait to be back!“
“Simply the best. Better than all the rest! (The song that plays in my head when I walk into the Good Hop)The draft list is always fire. And if you can't find a beer in the back you like.... well. That's not possible.Go and drink it!“
“My mother found this place and told me it's the best Smashburger she's ever had. It didn't take me much time to see if she was right and I'll say this is the best Smashburger I've ever had.Parking: Not much parking, but worth it to park and walk over.“
“I come up from San Jose to this place all the time. Definitely a spot worth visiting when in the area. The ambiance is chill, everyone is friendly. The drinks are constantly rotating and are top notch. Above all there's the awesome and amazing Bob: super friendly, really knows his stuff and makes the best drinks known to man. Highly recommended“
“Besides the owner being one of the most awesome people I now know. The bar is great Karaoke was great as people have great voices and the alcohol is flowing from Rio like your on vacation and she just wants you to have a great time. A hidden gem in Hayward.“
“Good place to stop by and grab a healthy salad on your way to catch your flight. I had the Super Green Salad with Tofu. I liked the fresh ingredients and the dressing. There were plenty of other ready to go salads to choose from. If you arrive early for your flight, you can take your salad and walk over and catch the view of the bay nearby. If I am ever catching another flight out of the Oakland Airport again, I'll make sure and try another one of their salads.“
“We really enjoyed the new location on College Ave near Ashby! The service was great and the food was even better than I remembered! Parking was available on the street but we also found out from the staff that there is public parking behind the buildings.“
“We were greeted by a friendly staff member who encouraged us to choose our own table. Our server had a warm smile and was knowledgeable, getting us little samples of beer so we could try a couple of options. The French Dip sandwich was a big hit and everyone thought the fish tacos were perfect. Don't miss the sweet potato fries! The ambience was comfortable and casual. We will be back.“
“Good ambience. Interesting concept of cafe/ restaurant/ bar. Their food game could be stronger with more offerings in mains, otherwise repeat visits for food might become boring. But still a compelling and diverse offering. Friendly service.“
“ton katsu rice bowl: amazing!!!spam rice bowl: not good.kimchi fried rice: pretty goodbeef kimbap: goodjapchae: not good, too oily and soggybeef bulgogi: goodpork belly: gooddumplings/potstickers: good!corndogs: decentcroffles: not really that goodmochinuts: very yummydrinks: all very yummy, my favorites are ube and horchataParking: located on the street inside a mildly sus alleyway, difficult to parkKid-friendliness: very kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: wheelchair accessible“
“This place is just the best when I need some simple Cajun shrimp and potatoes. Love that they sell the sauce separately in a kind of big container as well. I always eat in but a few times went home and had it with rice and that extra sauce on the side was just so perfect. Have brought most of my friends and will keep bringing them for the awesome food and staff. The place is simple but an Amazing experience“
“Great drinks, cider, and decent selection of tequila! Hearty fried chips will stand up to their very fresh guacamole and spicy salsa. Our pork taco was cute on its on wooden serving board, the salad with chicken is always generous, but on our most recent visit, the meats were dry and bland. Better next time, I'm sure. Service is friendly and easy going, atmosphere is super casual. Good spot for a quick bite or time out with friends and family.“
“Best brunch I've ever had!!! We tried many things off the menu and they were all amazing. We had a very large group and they were super accommodating even as we couldn't all fit at one table. Still felt together in a sense. Everything from food to drinks was made with care and even the food at other tables looked amazing. Service was responsive but not superior. Food was so good we forgot to take pics- but you can't go wrong!“
“Hoza hands down has the best vegan chicken wings I’ve ever had. They’re made in house and I believe they are seitan. The sauces slap especially the carolina gold but honestly love them all. They don’t do the whole sugar cane bone like some high end vegan restaurants but personally the flavor and texture are so good I don’t think it’s missing a thing. The vegan pizza varies from okay to good depending on what you get. Personally like the spuddy buddy the best.Recently they moved to the space next door and it’s got a nice vibe in there definitely want to check out happy hour sometime.Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“Everything is good there, food is really good service and atmosphereWe love that placeParking: Parking is good there are it's a shopping center you can find parking everywhere sometimes I find parking I'm front or on the side of the restaurantKid-friendliness: It's good for the kids also you can write on the booth wich is cool or you can write something anywhere you find a spot to write something“
