“Ordered the sweet and sour pork, the pork was moist and tender. Also ordered pork pot stickers were they were very tasty too. The two lady's that greeted me were very sweet and friendly.
I was staying at the Hampton Inn, across the street. It was nice to find great food so close by.🥰“

“For dinner, the foods were ok. Service was mediocre at best. Also, parking (street only) can be horrible during weekends and holidays.“

“Shrimp noodle roll - excellent
Glutinous rice & chicken dumpling - excellent
Crispy shrimp & meat tofu skin roll - good, would have been excellent if it's a tad saltier
Siumai - good but not outstanding
House special pan fried noodle - good with premium proteins
Dry-fried string bean - ok, a bit overcooked
Coffee-glazed baby back pork ribs - not good, the sauce was ok but the ribs had very little meat and not crispy enough on the outside. Koi Palace makes a much better version.
The prices were on the expensive side for dim sum. Service was excellent. Waiting to get into the (only) restroom required lots of shuffling to make ways for staff going in/out of the kitchen and cashier's stand.“

“The Peking duck was fabulous and juicy! We got a half, which we were surprised how little it was. We should have had a full. You have to reserve the duck before you get there.
We had a meat roll I think it was. It was amazing! My friends mom doesn’t like spicy so we got this roll. Highly recommend! Lots of veggies and excellent sauce!“

“Great dim sum spot with that classic mom-and-pop vibe. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and served hot with a really nice variety to choose from. Everything we tried was delicious and felt authentic. On top of that, the prices are very affordable, making it an easy place to come back to often. The casual, welcoming atmosphere adds to the experience and makes it feel like a hidden gem. Definitely a great place for quality dim sum without breaking the bank.“

“So glad we stopped here for Dim Sum. It was a busy holiday weekend and they ran out of a few items so we tried a couple of different options. The Taro Puff was the highlight, great taste and texture. XO noodle roll was also fantastic.
If you are visiting Chinatown don’t miss this delicious Dim Sum restaurant, great food and great prices.“

“Food was good. Service is a little lackluster; it almost as though our table was invisible. Not once was our table checked on during the meal. The only time a request could be placed was when we asked the young lady that came to remove empty plates from the table.“

“Get the cilantro shrimp dumplings - so good!
Shrimp dumpling (har gao) & pork shumai were good. Not the best I’ve had but still very good, good size, and tasty.
The chive shrimp dumpling was good but not my favorite. The skin was a little thicker than what I liked.
Shrimp rice noodle roll was decent - not as thin as i would have liked.
Cash only. They charge sales tax on top.
There’s only 1 table to sit for 2 people. Highly recommend to grab and go.“

“Great prices, the food you are looking for in Chinatown at a face paced take away only location. Plan for a line, it does move pretty quickly. Gives you time to figure out what you want to order before you get up to the counter. Parking is almost non existing so plan accordingly.“

“We have been here multiple times and always walk away full and happy, it’s never a miss. The extensive vegan menu is really well done and the servers are always so kind and welcoming. Shout out to Carol for recommending a few limited time dishes to try and something special for my girlfriend’s birthday .“

“Checked out Dumpling Zone and really liked it. Their choice of dumplings was a lot to choose from and they came out hot, flavorful, and definitely hit the spot.
The place feels simple and laid-back, and the staff kept things moving quickly. Solid little spot for a casual meal“

“This dim sum place is surprisingly good. I got stuffed tofu with chicken and shrimp. It tastes pretty good. The egg tart is also delicious. Of course, it is not as mouth filling like Golden Gate bakery, but it serves your craving for egg tarts for sure. The food items here are very reasonably priced and the staff is friendly as well. I would get some quick bites here again if I am around the neighborhood.“

“Great dumpling restaurant, reminded me of going to dim sum, but with larger portions! They had a large selection marked with a green dot for Vegan. 💚
Absolutely loved the bean curd salad, the garlic noodles, the veggie bun, and the red bean pancake!
Super duper nice staff, took really good care of us!“

“A relax old school dim sum place to enjoy sumptuous good dim sum. A favourite place for the senior regular. They even helped themself to refill the tea. A friendly place if u are familiar with old sch dim sum culture.
Food was big in portion and best of all, they don't charge tax which is very very rare in US.
Service was good by the old lady even though they are busy.
This will be my regular dim sum store whenever I visit San Francisco.“

“I love this place! Delicious har gow, bbq pork buns, and chicken siu mai. The dumplings have a delicious chewy texture, and the pastry/buns are always amazing. Everything tastes so fresh and it feels like they put a lot of care and love into their food. I like their Hong Kong milk tea as well!“

“Great service and some of the best Chinese food I have had. Everything tasted very fresh. The vegetables had a good crunch and the dimsum was outstanding. The siumai was large and the chicken feet had great umami. The sweet and sour pork had really good flavor, texture, and crunch.
The beef chow fun came in a big portion. The tofu beef was amazing. The kung pao chicken had lots of peanuts which made it extra tasty. The beef spareribs were huge with a crispy outside and a tender inside and they were seasoned really well.
The service was great from start to finish. For the first time ever in a Chinese restaurant we did not have any take home food because we devoured everything.“

“Whenever I visit San Francisco, I have to stop here. Where I live we don’t really have quality dim sum options, so visiting here is critical :) This place is well priced, quick for service, and delicious. For visitors, unfamiliar with dim sum places, you gotta always bring cash. It’s cash only. I’ll definitely return soon“

“I came just after lunchtime, craving dim sum. Got this box of crystal shrimp dumplings and chive dumplings. $14.20 for 12 dumplings
Very soft with the right amount of chewiness. Served warm. Wasn’t too hungry but needed something for later as well.
Lady serving me didn’t speak much English but still managed to understand me and was nice.
Several tables but I took to-go for eating at nearby parks.
Would go again to try more!“

“Absolutely fell in LOVE with this place and this will be my go to place for dim sum in SF from now on. I discovered this gem when the line at good mong kok bakery was too long. There seemed to be plenty of locals in the restaurant so I decided to give it a shot. I spent around $40 got plenty of dim sum for the family to go around. The dim sum was hot, plump, and filled with meat!
We tried new moon last time, and was extremely disappointed because it was cold!! Plus, the have seating in the back. We will be coming back here. Bring cash!“

“This place was extremely delicious!
My bf and I tried a variety of buns and dim sum here. The Dim Sum, hands down, was made so beautifully and tasted even more so. The taste was flavorful and simple in a way that felt like home. We also had the bbq pork buns one steamed and one puffed, it was a sweet bbq flavor which I really enjoyed. The service was excellent and they even provided a suggestion of items to try based off what we were ordering. The puffs were light and soft, my bf isn’t much of a bread person so it had a bit much for him.
Overall, I definitely recommend this place for amazing quality dim sum, buns, and friendly service.“

“A very locals option for carry out dimsum — a selection not as extensive as other Cantonese bakeries on San Bruno Avenue, but good quality. Charsiu bao (BBQ pork buns) are meaty (not fatty), getting the more-savory-to-sweet proportions just right.“

“Came here for lunch. I ordered 3 items: Mongolian Beef, Combination Fried Rice, xiao long bao pork.
The Mongolian Beef came first then fried rice like 7 minutes later then the soup dumpling. Seems it should have been reversed.
I asked for the black vinegar with ginger. At first the waiter didn’t seem to know. However he brought back a small dish with just he black vinegar but no ginger. Weird.
The beef seemed salty at first so I think they used a lot of baking soda with the marinate. The rice was good. The total was around $53. I took the leftovers home.“

“Authentic dim sum restaurant. We dine in and had some Shuman, shrimp rice noodle roll, and Custard bun. Food was great except the rice noodle roll was too much noodle and not enough shrimp. We ended up getting some more buns and dim sum togo.“

“Delicious, no nonsense dimsum. Great quality and value. Long lines.
Hargow - 4/5. Good amounts of shrimp with a hit of white pepper.
Shu-mai - 4.5/5. Less cornstarch than typically used, which led to a nice meaty texture.
Wintermelon cake - 4/5. Not too sweet, nice texture.“

“This is the best dumpling place I’ve had in SF. Everything you need from delicious dim sums, to the chicken dishes, to fried rice, all just perfection. They are very reasonably priced and they have this fun game that you can play at the end to get a free meal. Also, the chilli oil is the best I’ve had ever!“

“Best dim sum at bargain prices. Outstanding authentic at less than one third the price of pricier restaurants at high end Chinese restaurant. Highly recommend and clearly local favorite. Long lines can be seen at peak times but line moves quickly. Can eat in or take out. Mostly self serve with tables for dine in. Will definitely come again during our visit at SF. They are NOT closed on Monday and Tuesday as suggested by Google map.“

“We loved just about everything we ordered here but I can only specifically remember (other than the pork ribs) that the buns were pork and the shumai were shrimp because otherwise we really just pointed at the items we wanted and ate without worry. We sat outside and food came out almost immediately. Definitely will be back.“
