YGF Malatang in Serramonte Food Court was a junior Tang Bar, with the same selection of meat and veggies to choose from in a big plastic bowl. When it comes to hot pot buffets like this one, I definitely had to have jue root noodles. Hopefully the noodles I chose weren't starchy, but they're never gluten free. I went there yesterday to get my fix of malatang which is a self serve bar that has many different food items you pick and go to the counter where you pick your flavor and have the servers cook it for you. It should come out to be a bowl of deliciousness that you picked. Unfortunately the taste wasn't really good and the broth was very mediocre. After wandering around the streets with no idea what to eat, we headed straight to Yang Guo Fu. The taste was exactly the same as in China, and the prices were fair. Paired with soda, it was a delicious treat. Ever since I had it in school, I have always stuck with Yang Guo Fu. Even though we arrived late, the service was still exceptional.
