“We ordered catering through Uncle Henry's and Tina and her family were amazing! Super responsive, on-time delivery, and delicious sandwiches. We will definitely be ordering from them next time we are in Downey!“

“After losing the 50/50 twice during the HSR collab, I drove here in the hopes that I could guarantee the ticket I wanted. I'm so glad I did.The people here are really nice and the building is clean with a nice atmosphere. There's even a little parking out back. The food, of course, is excellent (Signature sauce gang)“

“Today had a date with my girl and since we been trying to find new places discover and boy did we came across a hidden gem. The Taquero Mucho in Downey. This place is not your fancy restaurant but it is a good place in the middle of all this other locations to eat and run. The location looks like your average quick fast food joint but when you sit down and ordered your meal trust me, you will feel that you're a restaurant not a fast food joint. There many dishes wanted to try but for sure it wont be the last time I visit.“

“Yummy tacos! We had the lomo saltado, carnitas and fish tacos and all were Good! We also had the potato and cheese taquitos and the cara cara Olive oil cake. The Olive oil cake was warm and moist on the inside and was crunchy and crisp on the outside. Went well with the orange sherbet that came with it!“

“Divey corner bar with a large selection of canned and bottled beers. Solid food menu. Got the backyard burger two patties mustard grilled lettuce on a soft potato bun with thinly sliced pickle hit the spot for $11. Paired it with a dodger blonde five dollar draft. Bartender was nice place seemed like a local hangout to watch dodger games and kick back with friends. They had outdoor seating as well.“

“We have been living in Cypress/Los Al for 5 years now and barely made it to this place. From the first bite to the last, every slice is a symphony of flavors and textures. The crust strikes the ideal balance between crispy and chewy, providing the perfect foundation for the toppings. Speaking of toppings, they're fresh, abundant, and expertly chosen, elevating each bite to a new level of satisfaction. We are truly excited to return knowing we have such phenomenal pizza nearby.“

“I went to this brewery after work and met the love of my life! Jk jk but I had a really great time and the beer was very good. I’m not usually a beer drinker but I had two beers and they were very flavorful. The bathrooms were immaculate clean which I loved. The vibe was casual but also some people there for happy hour after work. I would go again!“

I told my husband I'll write a review because he loves this place - the silent movies playing in the background at night, the pizza with the dough cooked through with a little char, and even when we're not in the mood for pizza we'll come here for salads and appetizers. Any time it was his turn to prepare dinner we ended up here - he loved the vibe of this place, the familiar faces and awesome service. I told him this review was for him but it's really for me too. We will miss you, Thunderbolt Pizza! Thank you, Jay, Christie, and Tyler for being part of our family for the last 2+ years.“

“Went to this place with my husband three days ago barely got free to post this review. The food was great very authentic and the service was great as well. We will definitely go back even signed up for the rewards program in case we wanna order takeout.“
