“The service is really good. The cooking time is a little exceeded in time but it is because they actually cook real food there. The teriyaki bowl was so delicious, definitely recommended would also recommend the shrimp tempura as a side dish. “I've been wanting to try different omakase places in the LA area for a while now, and stumbled upon Omakase by Ozen online - and I'm glad I came! Reservations were made quickly and easily via Yelp, and I love that I was able to change my reservation time without much of a hassle. My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate after I took the MCAT, so we were extremely hungry when we got here. I think this place might have had valet out front, but we opted to just find street parking in the neighborhood for a ~5 minute walk (which worked out afterwards since it let us walk off our food!). The actual restaurant is a very small and quaint place; we sat at a table instead of the bar but I thought the decorations were very cute. Service was very fast and attentive. They handed us a menu as soon as we came in, and we ordered the $130 omakase - which was a pretty good deal for the quality of the food and the whole experience. I do have to say that I was not full after the meal (so my boyfriend and I ended up getting more food afterwards at a different place), but I did enjoy my time here. Definitely worth a try if you're celebrating because of the food and the service, but I personally don't think I'd come back for the omakase.“

“First off the portions are hefty and the presentation makes the entrees really appealing. Then comes the best part, you actually get to eat it. We've had Laotian food before as there are excellent ones in the SFV, but hands down this has to be the best by far. So far we've tried grilled beef plate w/ a side of papaya salad paired w/ chicken and sausage ala carte (instead of the plate) and they were all in scrumptious. The saucesParking: It is located in a multi use apartment above/commercial businesses below. So the parking is actually where the tenants also park which leaves plenty of spaces for the restaurant and it's free. No ticket and validation required.“

I am so glad I suddenly remember this restaurant last Saturday,the first day of the Chinese new year! The interior decoration is perfect for Chinese new year! This is My family's first time visit! They all love it! Perfect for pictures! It is a shame for not many people knowing this place, because they are only two tables occupied during our 1.5 hour visit. The only waitress is Miss Iris from Taipei. She is super nice and friendly! Fortunately, when we left, there were two parties coming in! “I work at a plastic surgery clinic where we often have lunch together as a group. With almost 30 people, it can be difficult to decide on a menu each time. However, we recently tried ordering food for all 30 of us from here and we were all pleasantly surprised by how perfect everything was. Personally, I absolutely loved the Yuja chicken and the addition of Korean Kimchi on the side was just perfect. The fries were incredibly crunchy and fresh as well.Another dish that stood out was the pesto with fried tofu our doctors were really into it! The food is so delicious, we had a party of four, and we ordered the soy sauce galbi-jim and it was enough for all of us. Our host was splendid too, he was like the chill uncle in the family LOL. “This restaurant is affiliated with several sushi restaurants in Los Angeles and Westwood. It is located on the 2F of the H Mart Madong Plaza, and they validate parking. It has only been open for a month, and it appears to be building up a following. Madong Plaza is also the home to several restaurants, Daiso Japan, Cosmetic World, Paris Baguette. It would be worth your while to enjoy a meal at California Rock N Sushi and do you shopping. The pictures don't do justice to the presentation and quality of the seafood they serve here. I have eaten sushi in Japan, Seattle, and Hawaii. The freshness of their seafood and presentation are unique and unmatched. The sushi chefs are artists, who are clearly experienced and can create works of art. They carry an extensive menu of hand rolls, cut rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and specialties. We had the Red Dragon and Lemon Rolls cut style, chirashi bowl, teppanyaki, and ama ebi. (If they have ama ebi on the menu, do not hesitate to order it.) From seating to the end of our meal, service was top notch. Although this restaurant is located in Koreatown, sushi is universal. I highly recommend that you take the time to visit this restaurant and enjoy your meal here. I would rate this 6 stars if Yelp allowed me to.“

“This place is amazing. My friend made reservations for us about a month in advance. We were seated right away. We had the options of either seafood or beef menu. We choose the beef menu. This is my first dining experience so I was looking forward to everything. This was a unique 12 course experience and the staff here did an amazing job. Every item that came out was very good. Tucked inside a hotel you wouldn't know about this place but I am glad my friend found it. We now made it a yearly thing to come back here and have dinner here now“

You definitely get to see the eclectic nature of the koreatown community. The staff also reflects a relaxed attitude but they're also attentive when it comes to refills or new orders. I'm not a fan of their cocktails, but some food suggestions are their KFC, Kimchi Fried Rice Plate, and their wings! And then most people, I've gone with, enjoy the different beer options.“

“It's always the places tucked away in a corner that are the best. You would never see this place from the main road unless you go into the business park. I've only been once and tried the orange peel chicken with fried rice. They forgot my fried rice and gave me white rice but I live near by and they were quick to fix it when I came back. The quality and taste of the food keeps this a 5 star. The chicken didn't taste cheap or full of salt and didn't upset my stomach after like other places. I would surely come back!“
