“My husband and I have been here for the very first time and we immediately fell in love with this place. The staff is amazing, they know how to treat you and make you feel at home. Alice is very passionate about her job and we loved her homemade desserts sooo much. “I am always up for a good fresh oyster and the Encinitas Fish Shop does not disappoint. Every Thursday night $1.25 per oyster from different locations. The best oysters are from the Pacific Northwest hands down! Service was excellent and friendly. Ambiance is open, family and dog friendly. Enjoy the outdoor patio during Spring and Summer! Fish Shop stew is delicious and comes with a piece of garlic toast. Smoke salmon sandwich and fries was tasty. Lots of choices on the menu! Don't forget the bar and the Pupil Beer. Check them out!“

“Much better than past visits. Too many times you're just ignored by the teenage cashier or food is just not cared for due to being busy. Place was busy, but it was clear management was on it that night (Mon 3/11) could see some guests were just plain rude or disrespectful, but the staff kept with it and killed it with kindness, service and stuck with the quality of food you'd expect for a place with the name, "Best Pizza?". “By far the best crust, chewy but firm, sourdough ish. We enjoyed a half cheese and half meatball parm. I am a meatball girl. It better not taste like anything other than "meat" and they delivered. It had great Italian seasoning and fresh cheeses. The red sauce was on point, not too acidy, not to sweet. Would have like it to be hotter in the middle, but if that's the only complaint I have, we'll then it's a good pizza! Brews.....I love a good red ale. I was satisfied. The colder the better. A must try for a great dough with crunch and chew.“

“What a gem! Ambiance is wine shop and old rhymes. Love that you can pick out a bottle and drink it there or get a glass from the wine list. Small bites like flatbread and cheese samplers. No kitchen food. Servers love wine and are super helpful with suggestions. See what you like and you can even become a member. Special wine dinners and tasting events. Can't wait to go back for more sips.“

“Came here and tried 5 of their beers. I usually go in and have a flight and then a pint of my favorite one but it's so hard to choose from this. I had their Greek Pale Ale, White Sage IPA, Electric Blues IPA, Burn Steady Lager and their small batch of Dry Irish Stout.“

“OMG, the beer here is fantastic. It's different, fruity, almost like a juice bar, with a kick. I tried the 'Green Jello Smoothie Ale'. Totally delicious. One is not enough. I am prefer a blonde or stout ale and stay away from the fruity beers, but wow, this one was good. The service is very good, the server was more than happy to tell us about their beers. The place was much like you would expect at a place that was in its infancy, bare bones but not too bad. I have been to worse. It was wrestling night and there was a ring outside & some amateur wrestlers, fun stuff. When friends come into town, I'll take them there.“

“Recently moved to the area and decided to stop in on New Years Eve for an early dinner. The place wasn't too busy, but still had a great vibe. We were greeted by Jade, who was super friendly and explained each of the flavors of the Hard Kombuchas and even let us try a few! I had the Key Lime Pie. Their sushi menu is extensive, and has the basic sushi rolls and also specialities. Jade also knew a lot about the menu and the rolls, and recommended the moonlight roll and the grandview. We also got other items on the menu. Overall, we highly enjoyed the place and are happy we have a taproom/sushi in our new home!!“

The broken chair porter, I Said this because about a year ago I had the rat tail porter, that was so good, the closest to my favorite porter beer in whatcom county in Washington State. However apparently it was a one Time thing and I believe this is gonna be the same with the broken chair, any I still enjoy the food very much as always, and the wonderful service and atmosphere they have.
