“Always have such a great experience here, figured it was time I leave a review. Spoiler, it's fantastic.I like everything about this place from the food, the exterior and interior English cottage design, and surrounding views of Orange County but I'll highlight the service today. Entire staff is so amiable and conscientious of you and your party's needs. It really puts it over the top to make it a positive dining experience. It's a delight to not have an exhaustive menu but all you need to know is you can't go wrong with the vegetarian risotto, the prime rib (which comes with creamed corn and spinach), and the delicious bread pudding.”

All About Pho 100 S Harbor Blvd Suite B, Fullerton Pho • $

“Check In: Make sure you check in on Yelp for 1 free Herbal Iced Tea!Parking: Parking can be a bit difficult on the weekends. I visited on a Sunday and was not able to find any parking near the restaurant. But I was able to find a spot near the Old Spaghetti Factory. There’s a lot of restricted time zones, specific parking, and metered parking.Environment/Ambiance: It was very nostalgic for me when I walked in because the ambiance gave off Vietnamese vibes. The marble tables, wooden chairs, vases, utensils, and plates were imported from Vietnam. I recognized the vases bc my grandma had the same ones lol! They also have an open kitchen concept. I love their modern take on traditional Vietnamese dishes.Service: Everyone was amazing. Shout out to our server Ben! Constantly checked up on us and ensured we were enjoying our dinner. They even have robot service! The robot only brought us the sides that came with the pho we ordered.Food & drinks:1) Pho Tai Filet Mignon, carpaccio-style - This was my first time trying pho carpaccio-styled, and it was sooo delicious! Such a great concept. For those who don’t know what carpaccio style is - it is thinly sliced rare beef, drizzled with oil and lemon or lime. I was advised to squeeze the lime first and spray some 40° nuoc mam for extra flavor. Then take some meat and dip it into the pho broth. The meat wasn’t too chewy! I’m used to eating cooked meat with pho, but I absolutely looove this style better! 10/102) Pho Xe Lua - I was told this was one of their most popular pho bowls. They were very generous with the meats. I didn’t even need to add any sauces to the broth bc it tasted amazing the way it was. I could definitely tell their broth was brewed for at least 48 hours; it very smooth and no MSG. My favorite part was the short rib! It easily came off the bone and full of flavor. They offer unlimited noodles, so of course I took advantage! 10/103) Fish Sauce Fries - I started off with the Fish Sauce Fries as appetizers. It came with a “female” and “male” 40° nuoc mam perfume bottle. Such a fun idea! The fries were already tossed in fish sauce, but if you want more flavor, a couple spritz of the “perfume” will do. They also gave a generous amount of fries for an appetizer. 10/104) Herbal Iced Tea - So refreshing! After eating two steaming bowls of pho and nuoc mam fries, this drink really helped refresh everything. It came in a cute cup, topped with floral. 9/105) Vietnamese Coffee - I’m a crackhead for caffeine, so of course I had to try their Vietnamese coffee. This is the definition of Vietnamese coffee: extra ice, thick, concentrated, and not overwhelmingly sweet. It also came in a unique cup. 10/10Pricing: Prices are $$$. Not as surprised since prices have gone up literally everywhere. I’d say it’s worth it because they are very generous with their portions.Parking: Parking: Parking can be a bit difficult on the weekends. I visited on a Sunday and was not able to find any parking near the restaurant. But I was able to find a spot near the Old Spaghetti Factory. There’s a lot of restricted time zones, specific parking, and metered parking.”

Chicana Vegana 113 E Commonwealth Ave, Fullerton Vegan • $

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chicana and was absolutely blown away by their vegan burger. It's not every day you find a vegan burger that's both flavorful and juicy, but Chicana has managed to create a masterpiece that stands out in the ever-growing field of plant-based cuisine. The burger was a delightful surprise, packed with taste and cooked to perfection, making it easily the best vegan burger I've ever had. What made our experience even more memorable was the service. Despite arriving 15 minutes before closing time and having a long order, the staff, especially our server, was incredibly accommodating. She took her time to ensure our order was perfect, never once making us feel rushed or like an inconvenience. This level of customer care and dedication to service is rare and truly appreciated.I cannot recommend Chicana enough. Whether you're a vegan or simply someone who appreciates great food and outstanding service, this place is a must-visit. Their commitment to quality, both in their culinary offerings and in their service, sets them apart. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!”

Fill Bakeshop 1927 W Malvern Ave, Fullerton Bakery • $$

“I'm not typically a donut person, but during a visit to Costa Mesa (a while ago), a friend insisted I try Fill Bakeshop, and I'm incredibly glad I took their advice. Tucked away in Orange County, this bakeshop was a delightful surprise that challenged all my previous notions about donuts. Even though they've since moved to Fullerton, my experience in their Costa Mesa location left a lasting impression. From the moment I walked through the door, I was enveloped by the enticing aroma of fresh pastries—a true feast for the senses. The menu boasted an array of unique flavors and offerings, far beyond the scope of any ordinary donut shop. After some thought, I chose several of their signature mochi donuts. These weren't just ordinary donuts; they were extraordinary. Each donut offered a perfect mix of chewiness and softness, with flavors that were both innovative and impeccably balanced. But the excellence didn't stop at the donuts. Their drinks menu was just as remarkable, with a variety of coffee and tea selections that perfectly complemented the pastries. I indulged in a matcha latte, which was flawlessly prepared—sweet, yet with a depth of earthy matcha flavor. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, eagerly offering recommendations and sharing their personal favorites. The cozy and inviting atmosphere of the shop made it an ideal spot for enjoying a morning treat or an afternoon snack. For those who find themselves in Orange County, seeking out Fill Bakeshop is a must, regardless of their current Fullerton location. Even if you don't consider yourself a donut enthusiast, there's something at Fill's that will captivate your taste buds. Their innovative take on traditional pastries, coupled with a commitment to quality, shines through with every bite.”

Huntington Ramen & Sushi 1325 E Chapman Ave, Fullerton Sushi Bar • $

“The vegan options aren't just plentiful but they also taste amazing. Blends of savory and sweet, crunchy and smooth. The service is also fantastic; they frequently bring out little extras to taste which is a lovely way to expand our palates. It is frequently very busy so show up early if you're not getting that out. Also, the kitchen extractor fans are insufficient; your clothes will smell like fried oil after dining in.Vegetarian options: The vegan Inferno Roll is my favorite but all of their vegan options are amazing. The vegan Hellfire ramen isn't really all that spicy if you have a high spice tolerance.”

“I was in town for a couple of nights and had the pleasure of going here for dinner. Lovely atmosphere with friendly and attentive wait staff. It was a Sunday evening, so it wasn't terribly busy. There was only about a 20 minute wait or so, and it went faster than that. The menu is straightforward and easy to navigate. Each meal comes with salad and dessert treat (either a scoop of spumoni or vanilla ice cream) with the largest decision being what kind of pasta and sauces you want. There are a few things outside of just spaghetti to get, like fettuccine, lasagna, etc. but the simplicity of the menu is a strength and it all fits on one page. This isn't the Cheesecake Factory.I had the salad with balsamic vinaigrette, spaghetti with meat sauce, and some spumoni. Each is served separately as courses with a small loaf of freshly warmed bread to share at the table. It was delightful. Coupled with a Black Manhattan (one of a number of classic cocktails they offer), and it was simply a well thought out meal that satisfied, not stuffed. The portions of food seemed to be intentionally aiming to be "just enough," as opposed to a massive plate full of food you have to pack up with you for later. The salads and soups were enough to whet the appetites, there was a very manageable amount of pasta for the main course (no one felt the need to save some for later) and the single (generous) scoop does a lot to polish the meal off nicely.A wonderful experience all around. Next time I'm in town, I'll certainly be coming back.”

“Loved it! I used the drive thru which is convenient for those with disabilies. Located off harbor/ Imperial hwy in La Habra. I ordered the double Angus burger. I havent had meat in months. WoW. The brioche bun was a pleasant addition to it. It was approx $9 but was worth every mouthful, I was not disappointed. My mouth is watering as i text. The staff here are very energetic and nice ??. I also support smaller burger places, but I knew exactly what I wanted and went for it. The menu is very diverse since I remembered pre Kvd. $-$$ I highly recommend this Carl's Junior!!”

“food was great, I had the boss this time. interesting thing, the sign says "chips or 2 cookies + drink = $3.40. I had chips and we asked for the 2 cookies for another meal. we were told that you can't have 2 cookies as we were charged for the chips. turns out cookies are $1 each and chips are $1.89. which is fine. but the way the sign is clearly worded, chips or 2 cookies + drink = $3.40, implying they are equal.”

The meat is incredibly tender and juicy, served with pickled sides and traditional sauces that elevate the flavor! Don't miss out on their appetizers, like the refreshing grapefruit burrata and salmon carpaccio. If you enjoy a little spice or prefer something creamy, the jjampong pasta or the seafood risotto are also great options. End your meal on a sweet note with any of their desserts and drinks. “The Twisted Vine has a funky old school kinda vibe. My first visit here and it was perfect for a first date. Not too dark, not too loud with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere and very reasonable prices. They serve wine by the glass or bottle. Between the 2 of us, we tried three different wines, a pinot noir and a red blend, which were both very good and a McPrice Myers Cab, which was excellent.I didn't rate the food as we didn't order any, but the food I observed other customers being served looked appealing and delicious.I give this place my highest recommendation. It's definitely worth a visit.Parking: My data and I arrived separately, and we were both able to find street parking. There is a large paid ($5 fee) public parking lot behind the building, but as our visit was on a Saturday night, the lot was full.”

“My new go-to for boba, and the desserts here are a plus. The Oreo cheesecake dessert is not a traditional American cheesecake - it's more like a Japanese cheesecake that is airy and fluffy. I haven't tried the other flavors yet because I'm obsessed with the Oreo one! The first time I went here in-person, I was having a really bad day and came here after work as a pick-me-up. I was pleasantly surprised at the claw machines in the back, and the interior decor and furniture are very modern and aesthetically pleasing. I was able to win a stuffed dog from the claw machines which helped me feel a lot better - it's such a small win but it made my day. Each play is 1 token, which is $1. The token converter is right next to the claw machines. The drinks here are fairly sweet, I'd recommend reducing the sweetness level on any brulee milk tea drink. I usually get the cookies & cream milk tea (previously called Oreo brulee, I think) with boba. The boba is always fresh, and a perfect texture and consistency. The brulee makes the milk tea so much more creamy, which I enjoy. Parking in this plaza is always abundant and easy. This plaza is usually never too crowded - a plus for me.”

“Visiting In-N-Out at the corner of Orangethorpe and Harbor right after their opening time is my go-to strategy to beat the usual crowds. This location, nestled amid a bustling plaza with Costco, Amazon Prime, and other quick-service spots, can make for a busy parking lot, but the payoff is worth it.On my latest visit, I opted for the drive-thru which, thanks to their efficient double-line system, moved quicker than you'd expect given the crowd. I skipped the drink and went straight for a Double Double Animal Style with Animal Style fries—both were stellar, maintaining the high quality I've come to expect from In-N-Out. The fries, in particular, were a perfect blend of crispy and cheesy with just the right touch of that signature "Animal" seasoning.Despite the challenging parking scenario, the quick service and unbeatable burger quality make this In-N-Out a solid choice for anyone in Fullerton looking for a quick, tasty meal. “I stopped by this this AYCE sushi spot located in the Metrocenter in Fullerton. There is plenty of parking, although when it is busy there are plenty of nearby businesses that are packed. The inside seats about 50 at a time I would say. I saw that they were doing a $20 AYCE lunch happy hour special from 12-3 so I decided to stop by. The menu excludes nigiri/premium items but the rest of the menu was available for eat. I tempered my expectations since it was such a good price and braced for what I thought would be a subpar sushi experience. I was pleasantly surprised to find the rolls I got while simple, were certainly enjoyable. I got the Giant salmon roll, alaska roll, and baked salmon roll (are you seeing a trend here?). The giant salmon roll has a little bit of a spicy sauce drizzled on top which made it the perfect bite. The Alaska roll was solid as well and tasted fresh. The baked salmon roll was tasty but they go a little heavy on the sauce which makes it a tad overwhelming. While we did have to wait a bit due to the line forming outside, the servers were attentive and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. Overall a pretty satisfactory AYCE sushi experience. I would want to stop by again to indulge in this special.”

“I've eaten her twice, sharing their chicken nachos with two others and enjoying a Smog City Groundworks Coffee Porter on tap. The nachos were plentiful with flavorful chicken, plenty of cheese, olives, tomatoes, jalapenos and sides of salsa, guacamole and sour cream. The tortilla chips were nice and crispy. They have a wide selection of craft beer on draft, so you'll find something for whatever your mood. The servers were also attentive both times. If you're a sports fan, the numerous large screen TVs on every wall will ensure you don't miss a play. While I visited during the Cal State Fullerton students' winter break, I could imagine the lively energy when they return. Situated in a cool part of town with brick buildings and appealing aesthetics, Fullerton Brew Co. offers not just great food and drinks but also a vibrant location to explore with plenty of nearby stores. A definite go-to spot for a relaxed and enjoyable time.Parking: I was able to park in one of two large parking lots both times, but I did have to circle a couple times to find a spot. Parking was free at the time I went, but did become a paid lot later in the evenings.”

Bundoo Khan 2736 Nutwood Ave Suite A, Fullerton Halal • $$

“Bundoo Khan in Fullerton holds the crown as my top spot for kebabs. It's become a weekly ritual for me to stop by. While they offer sit down dining, my routine is to grab takeout while I'm in the Fullerton area. Here's a tip: allocate at least thirty minutes for pre-ordering, particularly during the bustling weekends. The gola kebab reigns supreme for me with its tenderness and rich, sumptuous flavors. Their secret? A magical marinade and the smokiness imbued from coal cooking, which elevates every dish on their menu. Plus, as an added treat, the owner also brings you 'Scoop Unreal' delights - don't miss out on the faluda ice cream; it's absolutely divine. As welcoming as they are skilled in the kitchen, the owners have also expanded their hospitality up north with a new location in Northern California. Don't hesitate - it comes highly recommended.”

In-N-Out Burger 1180 S Harbor Blvd, Fullerton Hamburger • $
