We ordered our food TO GO * phone order - already ready by the time we got there * friendly service * food was delish * love the packaging One thing that's difficult of this location is ample parking for the space of customers inside. Ordered: - two soondae soup - two galbi soup The food was delish! It was hot even when we arrived home with the food. One thing we loved about this location was their packaging! Everything was sealed (like boba drinks) heat sealed. From the soup to all the ban Chan - side dishes were all sealed. This really was amazing to secure all food from spilling and smell reeking out in the car Loved the service here - the workers all spoke English so it's easily accessible for all customers. Will definitely come again!!

I loved this place and highly recommended it. The food was exceptional. I ordered the hot stone Bibibop and it was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised that they also brought me some complementary pickled cucumber, kimchi, pickled radish and fish cakes. The place was very clean. The service was fantastic and the owner was very friendly. They also have indoor seating which is not mentioned in yelp. Will definitely come again.

This place is great. Get the Soon dae soup. Coming back for sure. Clean tasting. I'm not sure about the other soups but I will try them also.

Came here for the first time and has a good time! It seems like a newer place and was not disappointed! It's great to have another Korean spot in la Crescenta/glendale! Service was great and so their food! Had their soondaeguk and their galbitang! Both were solid! Great place to eat! Parking does get tricky though, so you may have to street park!

Very cosy neighborhood restaurant. It reminds me of some of the pop and mom restaurants in Korea. We decided to go there to try Soondae. I've heard about it, but never tried it. It was very good. It reminds me of sticky rice but have a more gelatinous texture. Besides that, their Galbi-Tong is outstanding! Everything is very authentic Korean cuisine so becareful of how much heat you can handle.

I ordered spicy sundaeguk and sundae modeum through the Uber Eats. The price was so high and the quality of food was not good as the price. I would never order the sundae from here. One of the worst sundaes I ever ate!

Excellent service and excellent quality of foods! I had Kalbitang (beef bone soup with glass noodle) and tojong soondae. Both were gluten free dairy free. I am super symptomatic celiac and allergic to gluten and I felt good after eating.Side dishes are not gluten free Kimchi, radish kimchi nothing is gluten free so don’t touch them.I have two kids and the server quickly brought a high chair, extra soup bowls and plastic spoons and forks for them. He also brought scissors and tongs for me to cut the foods for them.

Came on a Saturday at lunch and I was surprised it was empty but the space was so clean and open. We ordered one spicy soondae-guk (not pictured), one stir fried squid with pork belly (not pictured), and one pork belly soup. Everything was delicious! The spicy soondae-guk was super flavorful and a great amount of spice. The stir fried squid with pork belly was the perfect amount of sweet and spicy. The pork belly pieces were so juicy and thick. I had the pork belly soup and it was exactly what I was craving on a rainy day. Lots of meat too! All their banchan was incredible! Especially their kimchi! The manager was so attentive and kind, constantly asking if we needed anything and even sharing the best ways to enjoy the food! I will definitely be back. :)

Wow!! This place was so authentic and delicious, we loved this spot!! My friend and I came here after studying on a Saturday afternoon and we were fairly surprised. It's a cozy restaurant in the heart of La Crescenta. The manager and employee were sooo kind and thoughtful, we needed a little bit of help with the menu, but they do a great job recommending their popular dishes. We will definitely come back to this place, and this time with a bigger group. : )

Came here on a rainy night and was seated right away. Street parking is key! Service was quick and attentive and the location is very cozy. We were sat right by the big window and because of the rain we decided to order some soju as well. Food was hot and delicious and the kimchi was amazing. So glad this spot is close to my house, I will be back!!

Nice, little restaurant with great service. Their food was great too. I got the kimchi tofu soup, which was delicious, and my husband really loved the galbi tang. Their radish kimchi was so good! It was the perfect rainy day meal.

TL;DR - I love it. So far, I've been twice and I'm already thinking about the next time. Prior to this experience, I've never had soondae. It's not that I didn't want to try it or that I found it yucky or anything, I just didn't want to get a gigantic order and then feel bad for wasting food. Fortunately, this place has a small size! It was perfect size for 2 people. It was good, too! I don't have anything to compare it to though, but I will definitely order it again. The reason why I originally came here was for the pork bone soup. I originally tried it in Seoul and really wanted to taste it again. I wish I could have ordered the medium size and have it come on a mini stove, but truthfully, it is just too big to order just for myself. I can't even finish the single portion. Anyway, it's really good, but really, I'm going to have to try something different the next time I go. I can't keep going and getting the same thing, right? The boyfriend tried the spicy squid the first time we went. I actually didn't even try it because I was so into my soup and soondae. The second time we went, he had the cold noodle soup and fried chicken. Both were very good. We have our favorite cold noodle soup place and this did not beat it, but it was good. Our favorite is Soot Bull Jeep. We both just love the pine nut flavor. This one, my boyfriend would definitely order again. The sweet and spicy fried chicken was excellent. The boyfriend liked it more than the Korean fried chicken place that's closer to our house. Next time, I will have to force myself to order something different. I have to experience the whole menu. Also, I think both times we went, there was a group of Korean men that met to eat and hang out. Last time, the group were drinking so-maek and ordered the large pot of soup. Yep, I'm slightly jealous of them! Note: Park on the street. The ramp to the parking lot in the back is pretty steep and narrow. I haven't tried parking back there and I don't think I have the courage to.
