“The space has evolved for the better over the years. Great Brewery right down the street from the lake. Could easily spend all day outside when the weather is nice and warm. Inside the beers are flowing, and always rotating. Boys to the Yard is a standout (Blueberry Milkshake IPA). Struggle Bus is another winner from this Nano brewery.Bring something to eat from somewhere around town and enjoy this great space with tourists and locals alike.Cheers to Adam! See yah Soon!”

“This is a small place but worth it. The food was spot on. The wait staff was there when we needed him and not when we didn't. I personally drink high end Tequila. The staff's recommendation was not high end but it was OK.”

“It's a very charming restaurant and we were super lucky to get a Wednesday evening 5:30 PM reservation a mere 5 hours in advance. Our dinner experience was amazing! The food came out hot, the flavors and sauces were outstanding, and the service was fantastic. We ordered the Lobster Wontons appetizer, White Shrimp Fresh Sea Scallops & ¼ Maine Lobster Tail with Fettucine entree, and the Oregon Petrale Sole daily fish special. The soup of the day was Cauliflower soup. The lobster wonton appetizer came with 3 wontons. The ginger, shiitake mushrooms, and other seasonings paired very well with the lobster. The Chinese mustard and red chili dipping sauce served on the side was HOT and we felt the wontons had plenty enough flavor without the need to add any hot sauce. Rating: 8 I wasn't expecting to like the cauliflower soup but it was really really good! I'm not a huge fan of cauliflower or of soup in general, but the cauliflower flavor had a perfect subtleness and was accented with a touch of cumin seasoning. Rating: 8 My wife had the Oregon Petrale Sole. She described it as very flavorful (blend of lemon, garlic, and mushroom flavors and a light panko coating) and cooked to perfection. Rating: 10 I ordered the Shrimp, Scallop, Lobster Tail with Fettucine. OMG! Per the menu: "sautéed w/ red bell peppers, fresh basil, tomatoes, mushrooms and lemon garlic butter; cheese & onion." The sauce was sooooo amazing and perfectly compliment the seafood. I couldn't stop raving about the flavor even after arriving back at the hotel room. Rating: 10+ Our server was John and we thoroughly enjoyed the additional side conversations with him throughout our seating. (Ask him if he's ever tried moose.)”

“We recently ate at this restaurant 3 times fir lunch on a trip to Kings Beach. Great homemade Mexican food. We had shredded beef tacos, lengua, cabeza, pork tamales and pozole. The food was delicious and warmed our souls.”

“We own a 2nd home in Carnelian Bay and have wanted to find a good sushi place and after several years of driving by we finally came in ! Wow have we been missing out - ! We had the sushi Mi appetizer - awesome! Edamame so good! And 4 different Bento boxes with tempura - teriyaki steak and teriyaki chicken All were soooo good The restaurant is clean - the service is good and the pricing is fair for where we are So not hesitate to try this wonderful hidden gem!”

“The Dog House is a kiosk truck stationed in a parking lot that offers gourmet hot dogs and shaved ice (according to their menu). Walked across the street from Kings Beach, but it was just closing at 5pm on Sunday so didn't get a chance to eat here.”

“The view of King's Beach across the street is beautiful. We sat on the bar outside facing the lake. The food was very good! We had burgers, grilled cheese, chili and onion rings. The fries were very good too. We would definitely come back here.Parking: Small parking lot but several spaces open at 1130 a.m. on a Tuesday.”

“This is my go to place to eat every time I return from Backcountry tour/hike around Mt. Rose. It opens late compared to other restaurants in KB(8pm). Their complimentary chips and salsa is amazing, especially the salsa. Everything is delicious here and service is super fast!!! Price is very reasonable and good portions, perfect after a long day outside!!!”

“It's a basic taco bell. Very small and cozy. The food was pretty good.Parking: It's behind the building. About 15 spots are shared between all the businesses in the plaza, so I can imagine it will be full depending on the day/season/holiday.”

“I've been going here since I have been a kid and have known Bobby the owner since then too. It's what you expect from a burger place, perfect place to get some food if you are hung over or if you just want to enjoy a good burger or other options. Fries are delicious and the service is quick. The menu is big and everything has always been good.Parking: Small lot, other parking across the street or on the road.Kid-friendliness: Small area but it has Pac Man and more seating areas outside in the summer time.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp for access.”

“Glad we found this place. Quaint atmosphere inside with a lot of personality. They even sell nice lego sets! I ordered the breakfast plate which was a good portion of scrambled eggs, bacon, and tater tots. My white mocha latte was delicious. Service was superb!Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly. They even have a bin of toys to play with.”
