“We saw that Incline Village/Crystal Bay was doing their first restaurant week. We checked out the menus and decided to check out the Crystal Bay Steak House because we have never been here before and knew the chef was relatively new. Most of all, the menu they were offering looked fantastic. The crab legs, duck and crème brûlée were incredible. Highly recommend and we will be back for their regular menu!”

“We always enjoy getting Mountain Slice whether it's for the pizza, the ice cream, or both! Make sure to call early in the day to place an order for dinner as they get very busy and sell out. Today we ordered the tie dye pizza. I am allergic to tomatoes, so I ordered it without the vodka sauce and extra pesto. Had a little miscommunication on my end about the sauce, so when we picked it up it had a tomato sauce base. We explained what we had thought we ordered and the two guys working quickly made a fresh pie. Very thankful that they were so accommodating. The pizza was delicious with pesto as the base sauce! The dough is the star of the show. We've enjoyed both the regular style and the Detroit style pizzas here. Would love if they started doing some pizzas with other base sauces! Love that they are starting to do late nights with more arcade games, late night pizza, and beer. I think that's super fun and will draw in a cool crowd. Great option since nowhere else is open late. Go get the best pizza on the West Shore!”

“The space has evolved for the better over the years. Great Brewery right down the street from the lake. Could easily spend all day outside when the weather is nice and warm. Inside the beers are flowing, and always rotating. Boys to the Yard is a standout (Blueberry Milkshake IPA). “This is a great Italian-style pizzeria. The salad bar is not frequently-enough restocked, so take a careful look before ordering the salad bar. The veggie pizza and the pepperoni were solid 4 star, but the salad bar was a 3 star. Service was prompt, although the servers are quite young (it's Incline, so that happens)Parking: You may have to wait a moment for someone to pull out, but it is strip-mall-type parking”

“We came on a family trip to celebrate a special birthday and were looking for a cake. Thankfully we found their delicious sacher chocolate cake! We bought the medium one for 8 people and it was great. Lots of chocolate but not too sweet. Also moist but not too moist. I’m pretty picky about chocolate cakes and I really liked it. Plus everyone else too, it didn’t last too long. They gave us a yummy raspberry sauce that is a good contrast. It goes pretty well with mango and raspberry sorbet too. I really recommend it. You can order it the day before and they can write something on it.”

“Excellent food, wine and view of Lake Tahoe. Elegant setting and upscale ambiance but welcoming and inviting, not stuffy or snooty. We brought our 3 kids (10, 12, 15) and we felt very welcomed and comfortable. Husband has a dairy sensitivity and they were able to accommodate substitutions without any issues. Dining room is quiet but noise from the bar area does waft over from time to time.”

“It's a very charming restaurant and we were super lucky to get a Wednesday evening 5:30 PM reservation a mere 5 hours in advance. Our dinner experience was amazing! The food came out hot, the flavors and sauces were outstanding, and the service was fantastic. We ordered the Lobster Wontons appetizer, White Shrimp Fresh Sea Scallops & ¼ Maine Lobster Tail with Fettucine entree, and the Oregon Petrale Sole daily fish special. The soup of the day was Cauliflower soup. The lobster wonton appetizer came with 3 wontons. The ginger, shiitake mushrooms, and other seasonings paired very well with the lobster. The Chinese mustard and red chili dipping sauce served on the side was HOT and we felt the wontons had plenty enough flavor without the need to add any hot sauce. Rating: 8 I wasn't expecting to like the cauliflower soup but it was really really good! I'm not a huge fan of cauliflower or of soup in general, but the cauliflower flavor had a perfect subtleness and was accented with a touch of cumin seasoning. Rating: 8 My wife had the Oregon Petrale Sole. She described it as very flavorful (blend of lemon, garlic, and mushroom flavors and a light panko coating) and cooked to perfection. Rating: 10 I ordered the Shrimp, Scallop, Lobster Tail with Fettucine. OMG! Per the menu: "sautéed w/ red bell peppers, fresh basil, tomatoes, mushrooms and lemon garlic butter; cheese & onion." The sauce was sooooo amazing and perfectly compliment the seafood. I couldn't stop raving about the flavor even after arriving back at the hotel room. Rating: 10+ Our server was John and we thoroughly enjoyed the additional side conversations with him throughout our seating. (Ask him if he's ever tried moose.)”

“I come up to north Lake Tahoe a few times a year. Lanzas makes the best minestrone soup I've ever had. I love it here. The neighborhood charm. The old school style classic Italian American food. I got Easy kind service, from a family owned small business.”

“It's not the most amazing food, but the view can't be beat for a nice casual meal nearby King's Beach. There are four stools out front that even face the beach. We opted for inside since we needed a high chair. I would recommend tacos over the bowl and carnitas over the other meats. Really filling and friendly service. I'm glad we came upon this place on our way to the beach.”

“Yelp does it again, helping us find another fabulous establishment. We were quite hungry after a drive and a little sightseeing and ready for a late lunch, preferably something healthy-ish. While there was an A-frame sign out front that said Bluefish, the establishment we walked into was more of a liquor store with small bar in front. We initially thought we were in the wrong place. Perhaps some of the reviews had mentioned this, but I hadn't dug deep. Luckily, after walking out of the store, we walked back in towards the back and located Bluefish.While there are some Poké combos you can choose from, you can also customize your own bowl. The four of us each decided to customize and we were not disappointed! At an hour before closing they were out of white rice, but we were all OK with eating brown rice (plus adds to health factor). You can select your protein, rice and/or salad, sauce(s) and unlimited toppings. I got spicy tuna, salmon, Yuzu something rather (Mayo) and garlic ponzu sauces and many yummy toppings. The fish was quite fresh tasting, the sauces on point (yuzu Mayo was great!) and the rice cooked just right. I really like that you can select an unlimited amount toppings when you customize your bowl, even avocado! The service was also good, especially the young lady working the front. She helped me with my canned margarita order, sharing a little story about the drink's creator, and was sweet enough to put my drink in a glass with ice. The liquor store also has quite a nice selection of wine, liquor, beer and other canned / bottled adult beverages (sorry, no pictures of their selection). And the section adjacent to Bluefish has a small selection of Asian market goods. My fam gave me props for finding another good place to eat at. 4.5 stars. Thanks Yelp for not letting us down!”
