“We tried Utsav on a whim, and we are so happy that we did! I've been searching for delicious restaurants in the area, and had yet to find an Indian restaurant we loved. Well, look no further! I'm telling you, Utsav is it. Of course we ordered the usuals--Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Dal Makhani, Raita, Roti, and Garlic Naan. Everything was delicious and had all the right flavors, spices, and heat level. My favorite of the bunch was definitely the Butter Chicken, although I did like the additional vegetables in the Tikka Masala as well. The raita paired nicely with the curries and I really enjoyed dipping the garlic naan and roti in the thick sauces. I would absolutely order from Utsav again. Very happy to have found a local spot with quality Indian food!“

The Abhiruchi chicken curry, goat biryani, and the chili garlic naan are highlights, but everything I've tried has been excellent. “I’ve looked Tikka Masala ever since I was a kid and eating at this place has just made my love for the food even better. I tried the Panner Tikka Masala with naan and I was happy with the food. It was fresh and hot! The naan was also hot and freshly cooked which made the meal completely better. I also ordered Shrimp Tikka which is something completely new to me and I loved it. It tastes like a kebab and very crispy. Great Customer Service! Lots of dishes to try from the menu. Check it out!“

However, after a few requests, we were able to get seated in the main restaurant area, which is really nice (although a bit dark). The food was overall very tasty. The malai kofta was quite good. Bhel puri could have been more flavorful. Naans were cooked well. Good selection of drinks. Will likely be back!“

Like many Indian restaurants, it doesn't come with rice or naan and will have to be ordered separately.Garlic Naan ($2.99) - Garlic Naan is always a must for me. Theirs was freshly made and the most fluffy naan that I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and make sure to order extra because one order is not going to be enough for two people. I made sure to order one naan for each person in my party.Special Chicken 65 ($15.99) - Decided to try something new and saw that many fellow Yelpers posted about this. It's chicken mixed with tangy and garlic sauce. The tanginess isn't too strong which was perfect for me. It pairs extremely well with rice or naan. Definitely recommend it if you're looking to try something new.Lamb Pulao (FRIDAY SPECIAL $14.99) - Our server recommended this daily special dish and since we were a fan of lamb, we decided to go for it. The portion is extremely generous. You can order one for yourself or share with at least one or two other people. Since it comes with a large portion of rice, I ended up saving some of that rice to go with my chicken tikka masala. Usually with lamb, there is a certain smell/odor that I don't like if it's not cooked properly but I was so pleasantly surprised that I could barely distinguish that odor. The meat was so tender that it came off the bone pretty easily.“

Even though it's just takeout now, the food quality is just the same. Excellent Korma, Masala, & Rice! We love getting the large size and having leftovers throughout the week. The goat biryani was good, a little spicy even for mild, and definitely a more unique dish that you don't see everywhere. The chicken tikka masala had good flavor but they used breast meat so it was a little dry. I thought the garlic naan was not as fluffy and garlicky as other places so it was a little disappointing. Service was friendly but she often disappeared and there was definitely a bit of a language barrier. Looks like they do more takeout since the kitchen seemed pretty busy but there was only one other table.“
