“Casual family-run Vietnamese spot that serves classic eats. Came here for dinner at 8pm on a weeknight with a friend and there was no wait. Parking is available in the back. Indoor dining only. Credit cards accepted. There was a Yelp check in deal where you could get 5% off your bill. We ordered some spring rolls as apps to share and they were very crispy. I had the pho tai and it was very filling. I liked the broth and the leftovers kept fairly well the following day.”

“Far Field brewing is an amazing part of the Lawndale community. They offer innovative and delicious craft beer with a welcoming space and friendly service. I feel lucky to have them in our neighborhood. James and Tony along with all of the staff are always happy to answer questions about different styles of beer to help one find a new favorite. The outdoor picnic tables are great for catching up with friends, celebrating a birthday, or relaxing after work. Check the Instagram to see what food trucks are offering eats during the week. They also have fun comedy, art, and trivia nights as well as some specials 4-6pm happy hour style. TVs are available for sports ball needs - but don't dominate the space. A really great micro brewery close to home without having to go further to Hawthorne or down to Torrance. So glad you are here!”

“I had the oxtail pho, my partner had a bbq sandwich. Both were ??! The oxtail was tender and delicious. Huge portion. The bbq sandwich was very tasty, but could have used a little more meat.Overall great spot.”

“I loved this place. We were in a hurry to make a reservation for a museum and they were lightning fast. We sat down. Ordered and food was out in like 3 minutes. They have great vegetarian options too.The spring rolls were scrumptious and they didn't skimp on shrimp or pork. The sauce was divine.The pho was super yummy with just the right amount of meat. Broth was delicious. Kids got fried rice and it was a huge portion. I also got the banh Mai sandwich which was good but a little less meat than I typically get. Great flavor and crusty baguette. We loved our meal.”

It's just a straight up, old school, Chinese restaurant serving up the classics. Portion sizes are pretty big and always tasty. I have not had a bad experience here yet. Strawberry sweet crepe was quite good - I might have to try some of the others to see if we can't jump that rating up a bit. Which is to say we're likely to come back.”

“The other customers are so happy to eat there that they will talk up certain menu items. I got a wet Carnitas Verde burrito, chips and salsa are always served with your meal I would suggest takeout because the seating is limited however they can handle a crowd and the tables turn rather quickly.”

“Was craving some Teriyaki, and my favorite spot recently closed down. Yelp to the rescue! Found this place, drove down and ordered a large chicken bowl and a medium beef bowl. Took about 15 minutes to get my order. How was it? Beef Bowl- Bomb! Beef, green onions and sticky rice. I ordered an extra teriyaki sauce (each bowl comes with one) and poured it on. Really tasty! Great char grilled beef, and perfect rice. Not too sweet....absolutely delicious! Chicken Bowl- Same as the beef, but with char grilled chicken. So damn good. One of the best teriyaki bowls I have had in LA! Service was friendly as can be! Will definitely be back once a teriyaki craving hits! This will be my new spot for teriyaki in the South Bay!”

“Stopped by and ordered 2 gorditas de chicharron for me and 1 Huarache de birria for my wife . Loved every bite of the gorditas from the outside golden and soft to the inside salsa Verde . The Huarache was great my wife loved it and the salsa was amazing . The complimentary salsa roja was killer smokey in flavor and spicy . I would revisit this place, and I wish it had more people stop by as the service was great and friendly . Thank you to the team for making tonight that much better and hope to see you soon for some Japanese style dishes you offer.”

“This is a great place to eat. The Pizza is wonderful with lots of toppings and delicious sauce. The antipasto salad is large enough for two and extremely good. The Italian sausage sandwich is also wonderful; you need to request the cheese and peppers and onions. Clean restaurant and excellent service. We eat here at least once every other week. Try it. The owners are the cooks and care about their food and customers.”

I come in just for Jess because she's awesome, and Mariah's customer service skills and bartending technique have vastly improved!! This place is exactly what you're looking for if you're into dive bars, like I am. Great sports on every tv, pool table with a bunch of regulars always happy to welcome you to the table, and an amazing sense of community. One off night shouldn't affect a Yelp score so I'm upping from a 3 to a 5! This place is great! Definitely stop in and say what's up to Jess and Mariah!!”

“This place is rad! What a cool bar to check out. The vibe was very chill for a mid week after work drink. They have pinballl which I will go back for, a pool table and different seating areas. The beer was kinda pricey but the wine was reasonable - and a healthy pour! Will return for sure.”

“Burger dive of all burger dives I've been to. Nothing gourmet or fancy but is greasy and sloppy enough to get you right no matter how hard you drank. Had a pastrami burger, fries, onion rings, cherry coke, and a strawberry shake. I almost had a coronary but it would have been worth it and I'll definitely be back.”

“I have been ordering at Umami Express for a while now and it is such a life saver for busy weekdays. I am trying to lose weight and their food is so filling but guilt free - saved me from ordering unhealthy fast food. My fave so far is the chicken bowl, I add chestnuts and cucumbers. The texture is so good and the lemon garlic sauce is good as well. I did try the spicy sauce on time and it is not for me. One improvement I guess I would ask is if there is a way that the calories are stated in the website when I do my online order? I have never been in the restaurant, so I cannot tell for sure if they have it there. With my need to be more calorie conscious that will be a fantastic help. :-)”

“I've been going here for years. They honestly have the best burgers , best breakfast, best menudo in town . Everyone there are very friendly. Good food for great price . Everything is fresh taste just like moms and pops meals !! Prices are good compare to other restaurants. Like I said if you want something that's going to taste like home this is the place to go !! They have the best fresh salsa . I know there's people complaining about prices going up is a business just like everywhere else prices are going up. I love the food , fresh food with great taste I don't mind paying. Brolly hut is my #1 spot go to eat with family or fiends I really recommend this place you would not regret it !!!”

“One of the better Jamaican restaurants in the South Bay area. I got the Jerk chicken dinner with three sides which after taxes comes to around $24.00 or so, but the food is worth it. They also have lunch specials, but only during the week. Definitely would recommend to those fans of Jamaican cuisine.”

“I would recommend the suadero and carne asada. The carne asada is grilled over an open flame, much better than most brick and mortar stores. Tortillas are home made, made right as you order. They open around 5 PM and usually go past midnight. No cash? They take Venmo and Zelle.”

“This bar is one of the South Bays true hidden gems! From the awesome and friendly staff to the excellent beer selection they have nailed the essence of the South Bay neighborhood dive bar! The pool tables are in great shape and u can always get a game, the pinball machines are challenging and fun, and the crowd is always friendly and a good time. Pair that with the bartenders Joe, Gina, Justin, and Carlos (aka Los) and you have a great night waiting to happen. I stopped by after work to avoid the 405 almost a year ago and I keep coming back. Trust me if you like a cool place to chill and mellow out this is your spot! Come on by you wont regret it! “I've driven past Rolling Zone hundreds of times and seen it on DoorDash, finally got the opportunity to try it. I'm happy that I did! Husband and I devoured our order (So I didn't get to take a photo). I ordered the paradise bowl I saw from DoorDash but replaced the passion fruit for mango + the coconut sorbet for the base. The young lady, Aisha, was truly helpful. Informed me about the possibilities for toppings! I loved the almond granola + coconut shavings. Got a medium to share! I understand wait time because other orders require them to craft rolls from scratch and it's not just scooping ice cream from a bucket onto a cone and calling it a day. It's a place where individual ingredients are crafted per order. I know customers can be impatient due to the fast paste places they frequent. Honestly, I rather them take their time so I can be served quality again next time I order. :) Excited to try the ice cream rolls next!”

“Small Colombian restaurant hidden in a little lot full of small businesses. The food here is great I really enjoyed the Bandeja Paisa dish that comes with a variety of meats, rice, beans, egg, and fried plantain. Definitely check this place out.”
