“My wife and enjoy the Happy Hour here (4-5:30) every time we’re in the area. Superb, attentive and very friendly staff. We always get the 1/2 off Cremant bubbly. The oysters, yellowtail crudo, bocarones and fries are our favorites. We joked with the staff that they should be Michelin Rated and apparently they are on their way!”

“We were lucky to make it before they closed for the day and had a great experience. Wine was reasonably priced and made to great taste. “Fantastic wines for an incredibly affordable price. These wines beat out wines twice their price easily. The space is cozy and there's quite a bit of outdoor seating compared to indoor seating.You just can't ask for better wine to price ratio. The wines are just phenomenal from white to red.”

“I was lucky to get a spot here when it was completely empty! (They had just opened)All of the wines we tasted were fantastic. The tasting notes provided by the host were spot on. When you perfect something don't change anything. That is what this place has done.The seating area in the back was very cozy. It provided good shade during the sunny morning, but not so much shade it was hard to see (or cold).The only drawback to this place might be that it is not super accessible for handicap people as the back is gravel and the front is a staircase. That said, they may have other entrances that I did not see.”

“Carhartt Family Wines is about what they put in the name: "Family" and very good "Wines" that are a labor of love. I went up to the cabin a couple years back from a recommendation and absolutely loved it. I was not currently at a place to do a wine club membership, but Troy was great the entire time with fantastic hospitality and service. I have been following CFW over the years and feel like they are doing some very special things to try and revamp the industry to make wine attractive to younger crowds while maintaining traditional varietal wines that are awesome. The ambiance of the cabin is great for socialization, they usually have good food establishments right outside, and everyone just seems to enjoy working there. I would click the button on a membership if they had a beautiful vineyard for me to escape to each tasting to enjoy an escape from LA, but that could possibly be too good to be true. Great place, a must visit.”

“This was our first time going wine tasting in Los Olivos, and Demetria Estate came highly recommended. It is absolutely beautiful here, and the perfect place for a relaxing wine tasting! You get to sit outside, and you have a magnificent view of the estate grounds. Delicious wine, fresh air, and lovely surroundings - what could be better? They also allow you to bring in outside food, so you can bring in your own snacks or meal to enjoy while drinking your wine. It was super busy when we were there, and they only had one person working. Definitely could've used more staff, but he made it work and was still super friendly while doing it. The wine here was excellent. Really enjoyed the Syrah. Definitely recommend making reservations, especially if you have a larger party. The last 2 miles to the winery is essentially a one-car road that goes both ways, so just make sure you drive carefully. A great choice for a highly-enjoyable wine tasting.”

“We stopped by this cute little town for a little wine tasting and then we decided to get a little lunch at Panino's which was excellent. My wife and I both got a half sandwich and half soup which was really like a full sandwich and bowl of soup. I got the chicken salad on ciabatta and my wife got the caprese and we both got the Italian wedding soup which was marvelous! I couldn't even finish it. If you're ever in Los olivos this is the place to get a great sandwich!”

“loved our time here, we joined after a beautiful tasting of unique and delicious wines!! the atmosphere is mod yet cozy, with cushy blankets and great, prompt service. we learned a lot about Andrew and his love of wines, thanks to the amazing woman who helped us out and told us all about AMV. we are thrilled to be members now and visit when we come to town (up from San Diego). they have very affordable pricing and the comp tastings with a membership can’t be beat! we’re excited to have taken home some E11EVEN wines as well, yum! a great variety here, and for the right price. we are so glad to have made the trip over here while staying in Solvang, at our hotels recommendation. what a beautiful spot, we look forward to being back soon!! thank you thank you, would recommend to anyone staying in the area. Roasted Slope & Petit Verdot were my personal fave, and s/o to Enchanté which surprised & delighted, turning us into white wine drinkers this visit!! cheers!”

“I've been having enjoy cupcakes for years during our wine tastings at Saarloos and Sons. When we decided to get married in Solvang, there was never a question in my mind that I wanted Enjoy Cupcakes to handle our cake. Amber was amazingly helpful with our questions during the ordering process and created a beautiful cake and cupcake assortment for our guests to enjoy. Everything was so delicious and the perfect sweet note to end our day on!!”

“So I have to agree with Pris P review when it comes to the checking in process and how reservations and seating non reservation guests are handled BUT then there is Emi. If you are fortunate enough to have Emi as your server you will not only have the best service of your life but a lesson on what true hospitality is all about. She has great knowledge of the product and knows how to handle multi groups and yet make you feel like your the only one there. As far as the bubbles our favorite is the sibling bubblery. Sparkling granache you say. YES! Give it try. We love it and cross your fingers your lucky enough to get Emi as your server.”

“We've been going here more than 10 years and has been a go to favorite of ours whenever we're in Los Olivos. Love that they've expanded and has outdoor seating available. We prefer to sit by the bar though. The staff is friendly, attentive and very welcoming. The indoor cafe has a cozy but lively vibe. We ordered their beer on tap, Liquid Gravity Brewing Co.- Orange Cream Machine and BarrelHouse West Coast IPA , both outstanding! Also had their Ahi Tostada with avocado and wasabi hash, definitely a shareable plate, really fresh and is a new favorite! Also one of our go to orders, is their focaccia and dipping oil, still as good and haven't changed through the years! Make sure to stop by this place! There are newer places that have opened up around the corner but the Los Olivos Wine Merchant and Cafe is still the best! And by the way did I mention they have an awesome selection of wines? If you prefer wine with your food they also have a tasting flight to choose from!”

“Very dog friendly winery. It felt bigger than a lot of the wineries we passed by. It was also a lot more crowded. Decent amount of parking, and they had a pizza truck the day we were here (which we did not try). We kept getting harassed by yellow jackets, which was surprising since it's the dead of winter, but they mostly left us alone. They were very friendly here.”

“I needed a coffee and my niece and nephew wanted an ice cream cone. No one left disappointed. Excellent service, coffee drink selection and the ice cream cones were HUGE! Fun family friendly atmosphere in a cool, old general store.”
