“Wow, I just got my first delivery of Little Sky’s Olive Rosemary round and Onion & Parmesan bialys and I’m in love! Sooo delicious I could eat it as a meal! Had it with some TJ’s chili garlic crunch and Italian Bomba Calabrian peppers. I thought each bialys would be the size of a bagel but it was the size of a personal pizza.“

“BethAnn did an excellent job for the cake for our daughter's wedding at Mountain Terrace in Woodside! The cake was in a naked cake style with lemon pucker up flavor. It was just the way the groom and bride requested it! BethAnn was easy to work with and accommodated their schedule for the tasting as they lived out of the state. We would recommend Studio Cake for your wedding!“

“The staff here is so nice and friendly, I only wish more restaurants had workers who are so attentive and polite! The wait time was a little long, but definitely worth it when the food comes out. I typically get the ravioli and the garlic bread, they are really good! I've tried their pizza and desserts, all of which have been very delicious, and the price is pretty good. 100% recommend!“

“Excellent service. Great tasting food. It was my first time here and I loved it. Will be my go-to restaurant now moving forward. Shout out to our server Ernesto and the hostess (I forgot to ask her name, duh! ☺️) and also to the guy who suggested giving me the best Moscato I have ever had.“

“Historically, Godfather's has been one of the best upscale burger joints in town. I got the pepperoni burger with fries, my buddy got the godfather burger with onion rings. We finished off with Chocolate Brownie Decadence, service and food were awesome, glad to see things are going well. Place was clean and everything tidy, Street parking not bad. Would recommend returning soon!“

“So far, I’ve had the lentil soup (freakin’ de-lish!!) and a combination personal pizza. The flavor was a delight to my palate! I totally recommend velo*city pizza. Get in there and try them out! You WILL return for more! I met Phillip yesterday and when he learned that I am a musician, songwriter/performer with a current release, he immediately expressed genuine interest in my music. In fact, I believe that he downloaded and Play-listed my song “St Francis” right on the spot, and then he shared his delight in hearing my music with the lady who was also working with him behind the counter. You cannot buy this kind of energy he expressed! Phillips’s reaction to my music made me feel so good inside. I was humbled. I am going to request DrGlyn Reece of the MothFM network of radio stations to give a shout out to velo*city pizza! - Myron Edwins“

“I came in for lunch on a Tuesday and received quick and friendly service. I ordered Pad Thai and a Diet Coke and my total came to $18 and some change, which I found to be fair pricing. FWIW: I chose this restaurant over the several other Thai restaurants in the area because the others all seemed to have ridiculously high prices. The Pad Thai was great and I have no complaints at all. I also really like that they serve their canned sodas chilled, with a chilled glass filled with ice. Not just a glass of ice, a chilled glass of ice. Cold Diet Coke in a cold glass with lots of ice...IYKYK. I'm not in this area often, but if I ever am, I will definitely return.“

“As an update, it's worth calling out how much the current owners have improved this shop. It's cleaner, brighter, the service is fast, etc. They clearly care and are putting in lots of effort and attention. It's always had good beans and coffee, but everything else is just better now. Top notch place, check it out!“

“Antoine's Cookie Shop is hands down one of the best cookie destinations in the Bay Area! From the moment you arrive, you'll likely encounter a line - but trust me, it's absolutely worth the wait. I've tried numerous flavors here, and each one has left me thoroughly impressed. However, there's something truly special about their original chocolate chip. It's incredibly buttery, bursting with flavor, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. One bite and you'll understand why people keep coming back for more. Now, let's talk about the price. Yes, cookies here can add up, but let me tell you, the taste is simply unbeatable. You're not just paying for a cookie; you're investing in a culinary experience that will leave your taste buds dancing with delight. The workers here are quick, efficient, and always ready with a warm smile, ensuring that your visit is as pleasant as can be. Despite its smaller size, the shop is cozy and inviting, with the added bonus of a microwave to warm up those delectable treats - because who can resist a warm, gooey cookie? In conclusion, if you're a cookie enthusiast seeking an unforgettable indulgence, look no further than Antoine's Cookie Shop. With exceptional flavors, efficient service, and a cozy atmosphere, it's a true gem in the heart of the Bay Area.“

“What should I do in Japanese restaurant while some americans are talking too loud?In a situation where fellow diners are being too loud in a restaurant, it's generally best to handle it with tact and politeness. Here are a few steps you could consider:1. **Self-assessment**: First, check if their volume is indeed excessively loud or if it's a normal conversation level for a public place.[I put the earplug on to protect my hearing.]2. **Move Away**: If possible, ask the restaurant staff if you can move to a quieter table.[This is a small place.]3. **Communicate with the Staff**: If moving isn't an option, you might consider speaking to the restaurant staff or management. They are usually trained to handle such situations diplomatically.[Staff is busy and understaffed even for bringing dishes to the side of our desk.]4. **Direct but Polite Approach**: If you feel comfortable, you could approach the individuals directly. Do so politely and calmly, expressing that their conversation volume is a bit high and is disturbing your dining experience.[Some of them speaks Chinese but they just pretend to ignore our complaints. ]Remember, every situation is different and requires a judgement call. It's important to stay respectful and considerate in your approach.[I am wondering what else I can do to deal with this situation?]“

“The cutest little dessert shop in Los Altos. Has the best cake and very yummy drinks. There is no longer any indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating with shades. My favorite is the strawberry and cream cake and it is by far the best one I've ever had. Service is quick and just a grab and go kind of place where you pick up your cake and find a place to sit down. Since the seating is outdoors on a Main Street there is the ambiance of cars and people walking by.“

“I'm just really happy that we have this place in our neighborhood. Not to mention that everything is delicious (sour dough, focaccia and those jar cakes -- not too sweet and just perfect), I love their business ethics as well (generous with samples, giving out day old bread for free, very friendly). Their coffee doesn't even need to be good as it serves its purpose for their pastry selection, but even their coffee is good (they seem to have chosen their coffee beans with care). Thank you for your business!“

“I don’t usually like falafel but I love the falafel from here- it doesn’t taste greasy at all & the toppings they use are very flavorful & fresh! I’m not a vegetarian but the serving sizes here are quite filling & the flavor combo of their toppings with the falafel is very satisfying! I don’t think I’d ever had falafel dishes quite like how they do here, in a really good way! There isn’t seating so this is more like a take-out spot. Perfect for if you’re looking to grab something to go. Service is always really friendly & super quick! One of our favorite spots to pick up lunch or a light dinner! I love their pita pocket, baklava, hummus, and mango milk!“

“Best takeaway option for vegan gluten free (celiac friendly) food that I've found. Have gone back several times and the food is consistently delicious. “I went to so many Philz throughout the Bay Area over a decade. This one is the closest to me. I hardly go to a non dog friendly places since we take our dogs with us everywhere. But if I do want to work from a coffee shop this is the place I go to. It's such a warm and cozy "work from home " vibe with good people around. Mellow and easy music all the time. Super chill and not disturbing at all. Huge space with different settings with outlets everywhere. Almost feels like a tech co-working space. Coffee wise, they are the legitimate true passionate coffee people. Created their whole system for making coffee naming them and serving them. Can't think of a better one in the whole Bay Area.“

“Came here on Sunday evening and it was busy! There were not a lot of staff working so their service was on the slower side. But the guy who was taking care of our table was really nice and he was very accommodating. There was a good amount of meat for the price however we had to pay separately for the soup per person and also pay for the sauce, fruits and icecream which became pretty pricey. Overall really enjoyed the food but on the pricier side. It's a great place to eat with a group of friends or family“

“I loved the look of the place and the atmosphere and the service was great! I didn’t like the food personally, but I am gonna give it another shot next time I’m in town; I think I just ordered the wrong food for my taste. I got the spicy bacon onigiri (I don’t recommend) and the katsu sandwhich (also not the best). I did love the nori furikake covered fries though with spicy mayo dip, those were so good & I would get those again!Parking: Parking was a bit rough because the parking lot is very small and shared with other businesses; I did have to wait 5 minutes for somebody to leave. Also, the parking lot is very tight, big vehicles have to be careful. There might have been street parking, but I didn’t check or look.“

“Tried this place through a recommendation from a family member. HUGE portions! Definitely worth the price you're paying for since we have food for the rest of the week. Flavor was slightly lacking but my girlfriend and I think it might be a result of not using MSG. Ordered the chow mein, King Chuan fried rice, and Mongolian beef. Everything was spot on and it's definitely going to be one of my go to restaurants for Chinese Food!“

“I discovered this restaurant through yelp. It is a tiny hole-in-the-wall place with less than 10 tables. They are used to catering to offices and a to-go place. Incredible Food - the flavors of are unique and delicious. Food is medium spicy. Service is fantastic - I got good recommendations - Salmon Curry, Chicken Momo, Veg Fried Rice, Paneer Masala Curry and Garlic Naan. After the meal, even the chef came out to meet us. It is awesome to meet a friendly Fremont family owned establishment. I would strongly recommend trying this out.“

“Really nice for a pop in lunch on a sunny day at the Stanford Shopping Center. Balanced, light fair that was tasty and fueled us for a day of shopping. “I really like this place. They have remodeled the interior recently. I recommend the Seafood Soft Tofu. Note that the spice level is higher than stated, so order one level lower than you normally would to see if that works for you. Along with the side dishes, this is really enough food for dinner.“

“i wasn't the biggest fan the first time i came here, but then i came with some coworkers who REALLY like this place and come here every time during on-sites - i tried what they liked (chicken schnitzel pita) and really liked it. we also ordered sweet potato fries for the table and i enjoyed that as well. i might've just not ordered the right dish the first time around -- i got the oren's fattoush salad and shared some of the classic hummus. i've only ever come for lunch on fridays and there's never been a wait, even with a party of 8. i think it's a popular spot for corporate meals in general - my coworkers said that there's something for everyone (dietary restrictions!).“

“I got the red velvet and confetti Bundt cakes. The cakes themselves are good and such a fun size. Love the flavor and they taste pretty good. They're not the freshest but they're not stale either. The wait was a bit long especially because I assume these are already pre packaged so I was surprised that I had to wait 15 minutes but it's okay.
