“This place has me hooked. I'm so sad The pistachio matcha milk tea boba is absolutely delicious. A friend of mine recommended it to me and I haven't stopped ordering it since. I even tried to buy the ingredients to make it myself, because at this point it is becoming a budgeted expense I tried the rose matcha... bleh. I guess the taste of the rose was too overwhelming for me. Threw it away and came back and got my regular order. TRY IT GUYS. “This place is a hidden gem! It's conveniently located with plenty of street parking and a small parking lot. From the moment we walked up to the ordering/pickup window, a super friendly and helpful employee greeted us. He gave us awesome recommendations for their popular smoothies and toast. We couldn't wait to try the Pink Dragon and PB + Banana smoothies, and let me tell you, they were absolutely delicious! The cup size was just right, and we couldn't get enough of the Garden Toast with its flavorful feta and zesty lemon. They even have a seating area where we enjoyed our fantastic experience. We're already looking forward to going back!“

Last time, I had ice cream and their Ashta, and it was perfect. This time I tried their crepes and they did not disappint. “I've had many açaí bowls from different spots and Roots & Rye just hits different. I loooooove that you can get not only the açaí blend but the matcha blend as well. Their portion size of each thing they add in the bowl is also perfect, not too much one one thing or another and there are definitely places that might overdo it on, say, the granola or the blended stuff. I've only been to this location so I can't speak for the other spots but at this one, they only let in a few people at a time which means a line can end up forming outside. I haven't had to deal with a long line before but it can definitely take some time to get everyone through and finally make it inside. Still, one of my favorite açaí places, if not my favorite!“

“This place is right on the corner and I was able to park right to the left of it with the metered parking. I came mid week and in the middle of the day since it was a nice warm day. I got the ritual acai bowl with the original mix. It was a perfect combo and size to keep me going until dinner. The fruit was fresh and the peanut butter was the perfect amount for the whole bowl. The service was stupendous and I appreciated that he explained the different toppings they offered. The ambiance is chill and I definitely want to come back.“

During one of my lunch outings, I came across Oakberry Acai. When I entered, I was getting huge Deja Vu. I realized that I had been there once before thanks to a Yelp event. Since my experience went well during the Yelp event, I already knew I was going to like it.The place was clean and straight to the point. I was greeted by a nice gentleman who helped me order. “We were actually down the street at courage bagel when I decided to take a walk break for the long wait at courage bagel and I'm glad that I did. This is a cute little café about a block down. It offers freshly brewed coffee, beverages, produce, fresh, squeezed juice, smoothies, toast, etc. I opted for a vanilla latte, Americano, and fresh squeezed tangerine juice. It's a tiny little inside with some seating on the outside, which is super cute. I would honestly skip going to courage bagel and just come here to get some of the freshly prepared items which looked and sounded delicious. Service was super friendly and nice. Will definitely return and recommend others. I only noticed street parking. Both coffee drinks were freshly brewed and tasted delicious and we served hot. The tangerine juice was amazing.“

“Good place to get some juices and açaí bowls. It has a few locations including this Silver Lake one on Sunset. Naturewell has a crap ton of healthy options. A good way to start off the morning or a good snack for later. The prices aren't that bad for this kind of thing. A few locations of this are around. It's got one in the Sunset Junction area with all the shops and everything. The bowls are the way to go. It's about $10 for an Açaí Bowl. This comes with bananas, berries, coconut, and granola. Basic toppings for a bowl. The other popular items include juices and smoothies. Also you can get a cup of fresh fruit. There's also snacks like protein bars and good stuff. Best place around here as far as the prices for açaí bowls. It's a pretty good portion. There's plenty to get for vegans and vegetarians.“

I went in today to get a latte and a pastry, and totally forgot to ask for almond milk. Knowing it was my mistake I went to the counter to purchase another one with almond milk, the man who was working was SO kind, said not to worry, took my drink back and remade it, making sure it was just as good as the first one but with the type of milk I needed. Just anticipating a customer’s needs and being courteous of others, it’s hard to find these days but every time I come here they go above and beyond. This is a business to support. “I love this Robeks location so much, I stopped going to the one on Sepulveda, even though it's much closer to where I live. The first time I walked into this place, I immediately felt an amazing mood change! This Robeks has a cute little lounge area with some tables and a cozy couch (my toddlers favorite!) where you can sit down and chill as you sip on your fruits and veggies! usually order on my Robeks app before arriving, and my drinks are always on point. I alternate between smoothies and fresh juices (mostly mango turmeric and G-snap) and every drink always tastes fresh and delicious. The employee's at this location always have a pleasant attitude, unlike the other locations I've visited in the past, where most of them seem rushed and annoyed. Work can get busy, but it's important to keep a straight face in customer service and they do that well at this location. Clearly, management is remarkable here, and the manager himself who is always present welcomes us with a warm, genuine smile. He even gave my toddler some adorable water-based pony tattoos with the Robeks logo the last time we stopped by, and she loved them so much, she didn't even want me to touch them! Lol.
