“I came here today for the first time and the food was great, there was barely a line before the lunch rush, the amount of food you get is better than in n out in my opinion for the price you you pay, there is parking on the street and a very small parking lot on the side but looks like the parking lot is for residential parking. Either way I do recommend trying this place at least once .“

“We enjoyed our meal. The service was top-notch and very friendly. Adrien, the manager, was wonderful and assured my friend that she could eat without fear of her allergies to nuts and shellfish. We both got burgers and fries-- mine was the veggie burger. I would eat there again.Vegetarian options: The veggie burger was the best I've ever had. It was full of flavor!Dietary restrictions: My friend has allergies to nuts and shellfish and was able to eat here.“

“Don’t shoot the messenger, but there’s no need to wait in line at In-N-Out ever again. Come to the Smash House. Great burgers, actually, flawless burgers, and five dollar Draft Modelo’s.Parking: Pull in market alley and park behind the cleaners. They share spots with smash house.“

“Lucky Boy in Pasadena is my ultimate go-to for an unbeatable breakfast burrito experience. The portions are generous, and the flavors are unparalleled. I always opt for the bacon burrito with grilled onions, and it never disappoints. Even after 15 years of patronage, the quality remains consistently excellent. While it’s a bit on the pricier side for a burrito, the size makes it perfect for sharing or enjoying as two separate meals. Plus, their chili cheese fries are to die for! The drive from Santa Clarita is totally worth it for this culinary delight. With options like sausage, bacon, chorizo, or veggie, there’s something for everyone at Lucky Boy. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Lucky Boy is a must-visit spot for breakfast aficionados.“

“Been here many times while living in E Pasadena. Moved away in 2018 and came back for the first time today. Quality of food always been consistent for me. Had the breakfast plate which is not hard to mess up. Potatoes perfectly seasoned. Only negative is the gal who rang me up at 7am…no greeting, no smile, sappy face, attitude. Never seen her before…ticket said “Manager,” on it. I hope not as she’s setting the standard there.“

“This place has a really good pastrami sandwich. They have special sodas you don't see often, and the sandwiches are always fat. I ordered a small fry and a small onion ring, and they were huge. The fries weren't too brag worthy, but the onion rings were crisp and delicious.“

“Take a step back in time at this classic In n Out, this is currently the oldest operating restaurant still in service, opening in 1952, this shows you how they used to be, although no indoor dining and just two single restrooms outside, with twin drive thru and a walk up window and a few tables to eat outside, definitely a place to eat in Pasadena.“

“Just as I remember it. Had the classic 3 tacos and order of fries like the good ol days. Even better than I remember. Great work keeping Ricks alive guys! Can't wait to come back and try all the new items! We need another one an hour east!“

“Ok, I hadn't been here in years. To my surprise they are are still great. Burgers come with chopped lettuce, and you can ask for whole leaf. Get the fries with out salt and salt them yourself. They're pastrami is just as good as Lucky Boys or Tops.“

“Consistently the best burgers I've ever eaten! I took my parents and they loved it as well. If you're hungry, I also recommend the trio appetizer sampler. It's a solid choice for the indecisive or those who just like to try everything. I had the hickory burger this time. It's a good balance of sweet and savory. And the orange cream soda is also great.“

“We drive between Phoenix and Monterey Bay, Pasadena is an excellent half way stop. We have eaten here several times. We don’t go back to places we don’t enjoy. The happy hour is excellent! $3.99 cheeseburgers (not a huge burger, but perfect sized!), and a couple of bucks off of draft beers. We will be back!“

“What can I say apart from I had a blast here with my friends we were a party of 10 and they were constantly helpful. The cauliflowers were extremely good they were crispy not soggy or anything and the sauce was slightly spicy, delicious with the ranch. This place actually serves their whiskey sours with EGG WHITE. FINALLY ! I would come for those two things again.“

“I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The bartender was helpful and attentive. Beer selection is above average which has a good selection of stouts, ciders or IPAs. Good spot in the area for food and drinks. The Fish and chips are a pretty big deal!“

“I love Shake Shack and this locale is one of my favorites. Clean, friendly, very chill. And how can you go wrong with the best fast food around?! Today Edsel the friendly staffer hooked me up with the double veggie burger, fries and frozen hot cocoa shake -- a perfect meal that kept me full and happy all day (literally). The best.“

“I had breakfast at Wonder Burgers and it was my first time visiting this restaurant. I had the egg and sausage sandwich and I was totally surprised how big it was. I expected a sausage patty like McDonald's or other fast food restaurants. Instead, they were four extremely tasty sausage links along with the eggs and mayonnaise and tomatoes. I only wanted to eat half because it was so large. I ate the whole thing because it was delicious. I also asked for orange juice and they served me a very large cup of orange juice, which was also very delicious. The people were super friendly and she explained the menu to me and that breakfast was an offer two people and it was about $12. I definitely will go back when I'm in the area.Parking: There was plenty of parking in their parking lot.“

“Finally, I had the opportunity to try islands out and tried the Hawaiian chicken sandwich and the mini burgers with fries. Both were really good, the food is good but a bit on the pricey side in my opinion but other than that I have no complaints.“

“I don't understand why people goto other eateries...Carl's Jr is the only establishment that cooks meat proper...with fire? It's having my favorite BBQ food, burgers...but better, since their super efficient staff like Teresa and Issac, take care of all the non-yummy aspects of a delicious lunch. I get all the goodies and none of the hassle. Kudos to Carl's, keep up the great work!“

“A nice quiet spot for a quick bite. This is a regular spot for me as I live very close by. The food is reasonably priced with huge portion sizes, so much so that I am never able to finish my food and always have leftovers. The staff is friendly and the service is fairly quick. Food is always fresh and tasty. Would recommend.“

“I ordered through the app and went through the drive thru for pick up. I got there early and the manager was super efficient and had the food out earlier than expected. In the brief time of picking up the food, the manager was professional and friendly. This Carl’s Jr. location definitely outshines the other nearby locations.“

“Dog Haus is one of Pasadena's very best burger and dog restaurants. Delicious fresh food prepared in an open kitchen right in front of you. Thet serve a variety of dogs and sausages, burgers, sliders, great sides, and milkshakes. They also have beer and ale available. Super friendly staff, the restaurant is always clean and inviting. Highly recommended.“

“I live on the East Coast now, but this place opened in 1963, the year I started eighth grade at the private school just down the boulevard and my mom occasionally took us there for pie after school. So when I was in Pasadena a couple months ago, I saw the 60th anniversary 1963–2023 signs and decided to go in for old times sake. Was glad I did, brought back memories.Other than obviously higher prices, really hadn’t changed too much in my memory. Basically, a long lunch counter with just a few tables squeezed in. Waitresses using paper checks, checking the sales tax chart on the wall, adding it up manually. At first glance, plumbing fixtures in the men’s room, looked almost as old as the restaurant!Really just a burger place with good pies for desserts. My service was OK and relatively polite, although when I saw on my iPhone they had guest wifi (there wasn’t any in 1963!) and asked a second waitress walking by for the password, she acted bothered and was almost surly. My cooked-to-order burger was quite excellent, just like the ones I remember in school, but the price, my goodness! $13.50 for a single cheeseburger and a glass of water, not including tax and tip? I didn’t even get french fries!I wasn’t all that hungry, so I didn’t have any pie, but had they had any fresh fruit pie that day I probably would’ve splurged and had some. All in all, I was glad I stopped, but next time I am out there in Pasadena, I will probably go to In-N-Out Burger on Foothill Boulevard and save considerable dough :-)“

“California girl through and through, but I will take a Santa Barbara Char or Mushroom Char over In n Out almost any day of the week. Don't judge me; this is one girl's opinion. I always get onion rings with their homemade ranch. DELICIOUS!“

“I used to come here when they were a Mexican establishment but I'm glad they reopened as Kings. Everything is dank and the portions are generous. Extremely reasonable prices for the amount of food. I recommend the breakfast burritos, chilaquiles (pictured), and the smash burgers. I am bummed they did away with the sipper fries however. 5/5 atmosphere based completely off the mural of Homero (pictured).Parking: There's an auxiliary lot on the other side of Hen's Tooth Squate“
