They don’t honor reservations. Person checking us in was rude. Understaffed. Such a shame too because my family and I loved coming here at one point.

Very crowded. Had reservations but barely got any food. It was suppose to be a Champagne BrunchWe were given 1 bottle with orange juice in plastic cups it was 2 people to a cup of oj. Mind you we had a party of 10 the food was not being replenished in a timely manner. Our Mother's Day family Brunch sucked big time

Even with a reservation we had to wait almost an hour to be seated. And they put us outside, we had plastic utensils, no napkins, and barely got any services. Also, pro-tip, if the buffet ends at a time, don't arrive within an hour of that time and expect the full buffet.Edit - went into the bathroom and there's urine all over the floor, this hasn't been cleaned all day.

It is a nice and little bit fancier restaurant with authentic cuisine. A lot of professionals are working here and during our visit we were very happy with our server who was checking on us often despite we were seated outside under a temporary tent (because of Mother's day crowds). Portions are ok for the price- not cheap but according to the quality as well.Kid-friendliness: They have a very good weekly deal- kids eat for $1 on Wednesdays. There is a separate kids menu.

My husband made a reservation for mother's day. We arrived 10 mins prior to our time and were told it would be an hour wait. What is the point of a reservation of it's not being honored? Horrible system management. We decided to go else where, several other people with reservation were leaving too.

The so called Mother’s Day brunch 5/12/24 was horrible! They were overbooked, and The staff was still excepting walk-ins and couldn’t even handle the guests w/reservations. When the usher seated us. We weren’t giving eating utinsils. There we no instructions givin and hardly any food at the buffet area, nor did we receive mimosa’s. I had to physically run around the restaurant from staff member to staff member, just to get any type of service. I finally went and grabbed my own utensils from the bar area. It was a nightmare!! Why bother taking reservations if you have not reserved a spot for me and my family. I do not recommend this location for Mother’s Day brunch and I do not plan to dine here ever again.

The place was not clean nor professional. I had a 2:15 pm reservation and wasn't seated until 3:30 pm and only because I went back to ask if my table was ready. the food was COLD did nit taste goos AT ALL. I had to ask for them to clean the table. I had to ask for napkins and water to be brought to the table for five people. One of my family members order a bacon burger and the bacon was not cooked and we asked twice for them to bring him cooked bacon. never came. I will never return to this location.

Their Mother's Day event was overbooked. They didn't have enough staff or food for everyone who showed up. Tables were messy, the buffet was empty majority of the time, cups and plates were given out dirty it was just a hot mess. Never going to come here for mother days ever again

Made a reservation for Mother's Day. The restaurant was super packed. I think they were taking way too many walk ins. My party had to wait 40 mins even with a reservation. They were slammed but it took awhile for our table to be clean once we sat down. Had to find our own umbrella for the outside table.

Brutal reservation system. Waited 30 minutes just to check in because they let people cut in and put their name in. After checking in we still waited over an hour to be called. Our reservation was at 12pm and we didn't sit until 1:10pm. They said that they over-booked reservations, but they were still taking walk-ins and then mixing them in with the reservation groups. What? Yes, you read that correct, not only do they over book, they continued to make it worse with horrible management. Food was okay, but most things were cold and I'm not sure how they can justify $50 plus an extra restaurant fee before tax. We will never come back here, heading to Margaritas down the street which is cheaper and has properly cooked food.

It's a great spot for celebrations, coworker outings, and date nights with affordable prices.

We had a solid experience at El Torito Pasadena, the food was good and the drinks were excellent. Our server was also very good however, the wait times due to our overworked server were at times excessive.

Went for brunch, and it was so loud. The waters were too busy to refill our water.

I love El Torito Pasadena! The food was amazing from the chips and salsa, to the delicious enchiladas & flan. Compliments to the chef!We had impeccable service provided by our server, Jackson. His friendly demeanor and attention to detail added an extra layer of enjoyment. If you are craving mexican cuisine, or simply enjoy a night out with friends and family, this restaurant delivers on all fronts and I highly recommend it.
