Very disappointed! They parked my family of 5 in a corner it was not crowded and it was a Mother’s Day also we were there right when it opened as well so it was empty… Not asking for much but 2 grown men and a pregnant daughter and law and my sons girlfriend and myself being sat in a corner abutted against the wall was very uncomfortable and claustrophobic. They denied us a table that sat empty the whole duration of our dinner.Ordered chile relleno which I love, it was cold in the middle as well as my son’s wet burrito.Good was extremely bland absolutely no flavor in each dish, I was very embarrassed to have suggested this restaurant as I said we were one group of 20 to get a table then our food was awful and to top it off my son went in before it opened to ask a simple question “Do we need to put our name down?”, To be spoken rudely, we are not open yet! Yes we know!Anyways I don’t know what happened to this restaurant as I’ve been coming here for 50 years but won’t be coming back… I’m sad. Server was amazing just wanted to mention this. This cost my children $250 with a great gratuity…

Best steak picados I've had in a long time!Although it did get a little more pricey than the last time. But , understandable.I also had the chile rellenos, which was disappointing.The chile was smaller than a small jalapeño covered in a lot of batter. Told the server, and he said he would check in to it but never said anything.

I really want to give it 3.5 but Google doesn't allow it. We have come here on and off for years. More for the bar atmosphere than anything else. The drinks have gotten super expensive so we have not come back in a while. The food is not that great, but it is a staple in Pasadena which is why it is so busy. The fajitas are the best thing on the menu, in my opinion. The staff is great and the outdoor patio is nice. Just wish they put the love back in the food.

Went in for lunch and was immediately greeted. Thank you. Salsa wasn’t very good but it was fresh. Waiter was nice. I was expecting the food to be better based on the prices and atmosphere. It felt upscale but I’ve eaten better from taco trucks no offense. Nothing special. Just cheap ingredients. We all sang happy birthday and the Mexican singer was great. Seems like a friendly place but the smell of sewage is noticeable in bar area. I’m used to eating fresh food but if you’re used to frozen processed food this place probably tastes gourmet. Only time I’d return is if I’m starving and need something quick. 3.5 stars. Decent but not great.

This is a regular spot for us after work on Fridays. They have a beautiful, relaxing patio when the weather is good. And plenty of indoor seating when it isn't.The food is reliably good, and the service is outstanding (shout out to Alfredo who remembers all of our orders every week!).There is a parking lot but local street parking supplements because it does fill up. It gets very busy in the evenings.Definitely a quality institution in Pasadena, and we hope it continues to be.
Very nice Mexican restaurant with ample number of food, drink, and desert selections. Good service, exclusive parking lot, large space, warm ambiance. Overall, it is highly recommended.
