“Those of us who like pizza... have to visit and try these unique delicacies. They have 25 pizzas on the menu. We have 6, we are missing 19. The place is small. They don't sell beers but it's worth it. 2 locations passage to and San Fernando.“

“It was wonderful! Historic surroundings (ask about it). The staff provided assistance with the menu and offered valuable suggestions. The service was great and pizza was quickly delivered without compromise. Created with quality ingredients and crust with a nice chew. I highly recommend this one.“
“This is one of my favorite pizza places now. The photo gallery in their website totally does the pizza justice. It is as good as it photographs! I never had Detroit-style pizza. I don't take part in the Great Pizza Debate with regional styles vying for Best Pizza Ever. Pizza is either good or it's average. The flavors and textures between cheese, crust and sauce are either balanced and each component delicious, or the magic just doesn't happen. Whenever I try thick, rectangular pizza slices I'm always disappointed in either sauce, cheese, or crust. I always hoped that pizza would taste like these slices. This pizza is the paradigm of what a thick square slice of pizza should be-- a sauce that is deliciously balanced between sweet, tangy, and savory-- the perfect intermediary between cheese and carbs. Speaking of carbs, a nice thick crust, just doughy enough to feel your teeth sink into, but with the edges perfectly carmelized to support the slice as it makes its way to your pizza pie-hole. The cheese was-- well, cheese, but cheese that goes all the way to the edge of the crust, caramelized to a deep golden brown against the pie pan. On this maiden visit, we tried both the Margherita and the Biggio. The Biggio is their version of a meat lover's pizza-- pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham, and bacon. The ham and bacon, however, lent a smoky flavor -- almost too barbecue-ish -- for a non-bbq pizza. I know this is Detroit pizza but it was almost a little too un-Italian to us. The Margherita pizza, on the other hand, was crave-worthy. The cheese, sauce, and crust converged into a balance of flavor -- sweet, savory, and tangy, as well as texture -- doughy, crispy, the cheesy stretchiness, the caramelized edges.... I thought this slice was pizza, pure and simple, delicious in its simplicity. Even the tomato slices seemed to be cut the right thickness. I got ours to-go and tried calling ahead-- several times. No go, so I had to order when I got there. The pizzaria (suite #203) lives on the second floor of a two story mini-mall, overlooking the street-side dining lanes on Colorado. The parking lot is also on the second floor which is convenient, the entrance of which is on Mentor, just south of Colorado. Our order took 20 minutes to prepare-- well worth the wait. We also ordered a Caesar salad. Their Caesar was a mix of iceberg and romaine and was fine. Just know that their Caesar salads are tossed-- a dealbreaker for some if you're not into lifeless salads. Just remember this if you're ordering to-go and have to drive a ways before digging in. There is no soda fountain in the restaurant. Beverages are canned. After trying their pizza I appreciate this. I also liked how their menu is simple-- there are just two salads offered and most importantly their pizza, but really, their pizza is all you'll really need. Detroit or otherwise, it's just really good pizza.“

“Grandma Tony is the best pizza anywhere. The oregano and bell peppers make that much of a difference. I really want to order a pasta dishes and try all the other pizzas, so I'm going to have to come back a few more times. Screw Flanders.“

“Typically love outdoor dining but we made dinner reservations a week in advance and arrived on time, and we were still placed outside in the tent even asking for an indoor seat. There were at least 4/5 tables empty that we could see that could seat our party of 5 but we were denied those seats and said we would have to wait 45min for those tables. Since we had little kids and we're celebrating a birthday, we didn't want to take too long. So we were stuck outside in the rain and cold (they had space heaters but unfortunately our table was not under one so we ate in our heavy coats/jackets) After dinner we skipped the desserts bc we were too cold and uncomfortable to stay around any longer.“

“Got some wings, salad, and pizza from here (half and half). Me and my wife split a meat lovers and supreme and it was pretty damn good. The corners were nice and crispy, the salad was big and had alot of toppings, and the wings were fire. Definitely enough for a family of four but we just kept for leftovers. I would return if I was in the area.“

“It is rare that I will say food is amazing from an Italian Restaurant, but Tardino Brothers makes the grade. Let me just say, I'm a semi-regular here and the food is AMAZING. Not just one menu item, or a special, but everything I've ever ordered here is remarkable. Tardino Brothers is my go-to place for good, delicious, homestyle Italian food.“
“This place is very cool. Aside from the somewhat kitschy "secret" entrance (which was probably much more "in" 10 year ago), they really do create a unique cocktail experience. From the creative menus, perfectly balanced drinks, glass where, and presentation--they really have it dialed in. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. And even the food menu, despite being somewhat limited, left us very happy. Definitely not a weekly hangout, but worth discovering for yourself.“

“I'm obsessed with their 4 cheese pizza! I add pepperoni and bell peppers. Pizza sauce gives me heart burn so I love that this is pizza sauce-less but has all the amazing pizza flavors! The ricotta and garlic give it the perfect flavor. The thick crust is crispy and doughy at the same time. Absolutely love it!!“

“Everything about our experience was great! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The menu offered a nice selection of choices. We ordered the lunch special and it was delicious. Beautiful presentation, and in my opinion, we were served a lovely amount of food for a “special.” The service was very good. We do not live in the area but I would definitely make the field trip to eat here again…and bring my friends!“

“This is one of our usual Italian places for takeout since they no longer have dine in. We had a take out order for hot chicken parmesan sandwich, added the extra cheese and veggies like onions, mushrooms and green peppers, (but they forgot to add that in; hence the -1) like they have for their hoagies. And also ordered the side quart salad with extra dressing on the side. This place is always consistent with their flavors and always fresh. This was perfect for two people to share. And we added a can of Dr. Pepper. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you like condiments, you have to ask for it. I always ask for red pepper flakes, plates, forks, and napkins. They pack it nicely in a box always. The wait time is usually about 15-20 mins depending on the amount of orders they get. Usually, by the time I place the order and drive out, it's ready for me. They have a small parking lot in the back and side street parking on Coolidge Ave off Washington Blvd. Enjoy!!“

“Wow! Love the pizza here! As all ex New Yorkers, I too am guilty of considering myself an authority on what is good pizza, and this pizza is very good. Very good, in the thin crust NY way. These pies have what I would call, by California standards, an Exceptionally thin crust. Which we New Yorkers like. Pie Life's crusts deliver a great balance of crispness to chewiness. Strong enough to support any topping, yet soft enough to give a very satisfying chew. In addition to selling whole pies, Pie Life also sells pizza by the slice, featuring a differently topped slice of the day, each day. The day I was there the "PBJ" was featured that's Pepperoni, Bacon and Jalapeño. An excellent combination perfectly executed. I will be definitely be coming back for more. Note There is a small parking lot, which is nice. Also: there is very limited space for dining, just a few small tables that line the side of a narrow balcony. OK for one or two people who are just grabbing a slice. If you are planning on sharing a whole pie with a few people, you'll on want to take it home and "spread out" as a good friend of mine from New Orleans always says when we sit down to a meal together...“

“Our meal was exceptionally good last night. We started with the rosemary bread basket which was soft with a nice crust. My sister loved her spaghetti and meat balls. My chicken piccata was sautéed in lemon butter, wine and capers and was delicious. I substituted the spaghetti side for angel hair pasta. The veggies were a bit al dente but heated up nicely as leftovers. The portions were large so plenty leftover for another meal. Service was excellent. Very attentive and cordial. Definitely would go back.“

“Love this spot! The service was great , everyone was super helpful and friendly. The vibe is good, good music.. sports bar vibe. Casual . lots of indoor and outdoor seating options. I loved the watermelon lemonade , it's perfect on a hot day. We tried the meatballs , they were good but a little on the salty side. Loved the pizza, it was perfect. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie to go and it was fresh & tasty! Theres a parking structure right across the street and street parking as well. I wish they opened for lunch!“

“Amazing Service and food The concept of a fast food order but sitdown and eat quality food is extraordinary, and quite unique. The pizza I ordered, Zoe's Pepperoni, was a little burnt but by far the best tasting pizza I had ever eaten. One of our servers was super nice, and absolutely killing it at the job. The astuteness and accuracy of our requests was surpassed and exceeded by our server. Overall, Pitfire Artsian Pizza blew my expectations out of the park. I will be coming back, Hungry for more.“

“Chuck E Cheese recently got an upgrade and the improvements are great! Super clean with new games, it is a great place for children’s parties and a nice evening with the family on a cold, wet night. My son has had 2 birthday parties here and it’s so easy to pull off and the kids had a blast. Plus, I really like their pizza. Highly recommend this location for ease of parking, cleanliness, and family fun.“

“It was a blast! We got invited to a birthday party here, the place is not too huge but also not small. I think there were 40-50 people, they first served appetizers in each table with drinks. The food was great served buffet style and when everyone were done there were still a lot of food on the table. The sound system was provided by the host's family, they just brought a small strobe light, mic and because the place is not too big a small a loud speaker made it through. The only issue I had was the restroom - there is only 1 shared male/female restroom , no problem sharing with men but you will always see a line, so be prepared to hold it until it's all clear, lol!. Parking is free across the street.“

“Food: Very good for bar food. Wings and pizzas are phenomenal, everything else I've tried is solid. And big portions too. (4.5/5) Service: Not the greatest. It gets too slow when it's crowded, and it gets crowded here a lot. I've been here three times and it was the same every time, a little too understaffed. Bartenders were great at pouring drinks though. (3.5/5) Ambiance: If you like your sports bars loud and rowdy (and I personally do), this is a great spot especially for college or pro football. If you want space to walk through aisles and hear your own thoughts, then I would find another spot in Old Town. Tip: When I say the pizza is top-tier, I mean it. Try that if it's your first time. Also, if you're a Dodgers/Lakers/USC/UCLA fan, this is the place to watch a big game.“

“This CPK was down the street from our hotel so we thought we'd try it out. The inside and outside are beautiful. Especially during sunset. We actually go out food to go though. Food was good. I got the fettuccine. My noodles were a lil al dente and the sauce could have been thicker. My wife's cobb was great. Overall, id probably go back.“

“When I came here I was about 10 minutes early and my order was still in the making. I went in and was greeted very friendly by the worker. I then asked the worker if he could pull the pizza out early because I don’t like burn on the crust and bottom of pizza, and he said he would be happy to do that. I then went outside and after a few minutes he came outside and asked me to take a look if the pizza was to my liking. He pulled out the pizza and it was perfectly cooked. No burnt bottom or edges, and the ingredients were fully cooked, the perfect pizza. I told him that looked amazing and I am happy with how it came out. He then packed the pizza and the cheesy bread sticks that I ordered with it, that were made perfectly as the pizza. When I got home to tasting the pizza and bread sticks, I was blown away from the fact that I could actually taste the difference in the ingredients, and that I tasted things like garlic, and other spices with it. Overall I was incredibly satisfied with the customer service, and the food. 100% worth your money. Will 100% come back!“

“I've come here many times. Every time the servings are huge! I love it. They also have TV's here to watch sports on because of the Hoots Wings that is inside of their dining room. Convenient way to get both your pizza and wing fix. Could be a five star but the team just seems so apathetic and like they don't wanna be there. They work quick but take no time to engage with the guest. In addition, the kitchen had about 6-7 staff and the dining room had no one attending to it so the benches and tables were dirty and chairs weren't pushed in and in the way of the walk ways.“

“This place gave me the feel of Del Rae in Pico Rivera. Love the atmosphere, service was excellent. No hovering over my table. Food was delicious. Fell in love with the cheesecake dessert! I will definitely return when I am back in the area. It has an old time feel that you have to experience.“

“I always order a pick up and curbside delivery from this location, they are always on time and temperature hot, so you know it’s freshly made. Never encountered any issues with them, the employees are courteous and nice. Will keep ordering from them!“

“Pizza here was delicious. I had the thin crust but the Chicago style looked just as tasty. For chicken wings there's an option for breaded or naked which I chose, you can tell a lot of the quality of a chicken wing when you order it without the breading as there is nothing to hide. The chicken was meaty and well cooked. There's music videos playing as well as some sports.“
