Weekenders Beware! My girlfriend and I are from out of town and decided to check out some local restaurants. We looked online at some of the entrees here and decided this was the place to eat on Saturday night. We were sat right away with multiple plates and sides put in front of us. We were looking forward to ordering until the server informed us that we had to order at least 2 plates of meat. The lowest price for meat is 37$ and they wanted us to order two of them! We tried to say that we were from out of town and that we didn't know this was a rule and that we were sorry for the inconvenience - hoping they would make an exception. But we were told we must order the meat to stay. We ended up choosing to take the walk-of-shame out of the restaurant instead of emptying our wallets on food we weren't intending on ordering. Thank you to the staff for making us feel like this restaurant was above us and thanks for ruining our Saturday night!

I was in town and a friend lived by here and was able to secure us a table for 6 people same day. The aesthetics and clean layout of the space was great from the get go. The service is incredibly efficient - there was always tending to our table. As for the food itself, it is not an all you can eat but a la carte. We ordered the perfect amount for our table and everything was delicious. The servers also did a great job recommending the amount of food per our group size.

This Korean BBQ spot was our host for our 15th year wedding anniversary! We selected this non-AYCE for its quality and outstanding service. CJ served us well! Him and other staff frequently stopped at our table to cook for us. We never had to do anything! The salad was amazing! So refreshing! The condiments were not overwhelming like other AYCE. The star of the show was the meat! It's tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I'm surprised my clothes didn't smell like smoke. That's a first! Inside was sparkling clean and makes you feel like you're in a Michelin star restaurant. It's pricey but it's worth it!!! Parking was a breeze because it's just behind the restaurant. Oh, don't forget to order the soy-based soup. It's the best I ever had. I put my rice in it and devoured it. Delicious!!!

A very solid and clean KBBQ spot. High end service with high end product. The sides were some of the cleanest I have ever had at KBBQ.

Our waiter offered to cook for our table and treated us like VIP guests. He accommodated everyone's preferences and dietary restrictions. He was a pleasure. And of course, food was amazing!

I highly recommend making a reservation before visiting this place. Without a reservation, you might be treated as an uninvited guest. I called ahead and was told by an employee that there is no wait so come to visit within 10-15 minutes, I was advised to come ASAP. However, upon arrival, I was treated dismissively; the person I had spoken to on the phone acted as if I was making unreasonable demands. I ended up waiting around 40 minutes for a table, and even then, no one provided us with a menu. Disappointed by the employees' attitude, I expressed my concerns to the manager, feeling that the restaurant disrespected my time. The manager seemed indifferent to my experience and offered no sincere apology, attempting to remedy the situation with a complimentary drink instead. Feeling frustrated with the entire experience, I left without ordering. Having lived in Pasadena for a long time and visited this restaurant since its early days, I'm deeply disappointed and don't plan to return. For anyone considering a visit, I strongly advise making a reservation to ensure you're treated as a welcome guest.

This place was amazing for an inexperienced KBBQ'er. It was me and my partner (Chinese and White). The staff were so friendly and helped explain what dishes were and how to eat them. They also cooked the meat and sides for us so we didnt have to stress over that part for our first time. The owner ended up serving us due to the flow of people and Chris/Kris was amazing. She let us try the house made Lemon Soju and really solidified that we would be coming back. Our other server was amazing and she took care of us majority of the night, I didnt catch her name but I also forgot my card there and she caught up to me like half a block to give it back. So sweet and above and beyond. We got a plate of Brisket and Bulgogi with two Soju bottles peach and strawberry. The house lemon one was my favorite though and we will be getting it next time we go.We street parked and payed $1.25 until 8pm hit and didnt have to pay anymore.

Well lit, calm, not crazy smoky - good food and friendly people. Not cheap, but quality. Wish the potato salad scoops were bigger as asking for 8 different plates throughout the meal was embarrassing.

Ate here tonight for the first time and it was a DREAM! We had the two person beef trio for $120–brisket, Bulgogi, and Rib Eye—all bbqed right in front of us. The flavors of EVERYTHING were nothing less than exquisite. I rarely say a place is worth $60 a person, but this place is worth it. Best Korean food I’ve ever had!

A bit pricier than typical Korean BBQ, the food and experience seemed worth it.I found it curious that servers here would be responsible putting the meat on the grill, every other Korean BBQs I went was self serve. Still a great

Fantastic place. Food is great, price is reasonable, service is perfect, and notably the space is clean, spacious/not cramped, and ventilation good. Nice option and change of scenery from the K town spots.Only feedback is panchan options a little limited (no cucumber for example)

Our appetizers had a pubic hair on it, should've leave. It was a sign. I was a fool for telling them to just take it back and he didn't even bother to serve me a new one. When the meat got here, our server started cooking for us??????? But he just blowing a torch to it and speed up the process? What kind of Korean BBQ is this????? It looked uncooked and dry. The funniest part is, he dropped our meat to the table and just picked it back up, pretending nothing happened. It's a terrible experience and frankly it's so ridiculous that I found it comedic. Food was pretty bad but the service was worst, no wonder this place was empty. I regretted visiting it very much!

Excellent food! Well seasoned, great quality. Love the bulgogi, steak, shrimp and bimbimbop. Kimchi rice is a must order. All the sides are delicious and fresh. The gracious owner made the ambiance very hospitable. Highly recommend!
