I got the teriyaki chicken bowl all white chicken extra white rice and I couldn't even finish it. The teriyaki sauce was bland. No flavor tasted like honey if anything. Which was kind of weird and it immediately like made my stomach hurt once I took a couple bites.

No frills teriyaki spot. The entrance was confusing. It looks like a glass storefront but it's an automatic sliding door that isn't very sensitive or quick. So you need to stand there and then it will open after a short delay. Service was quick, food was decent. Price is fair for Pasadena.

Very legit Teri & yaki chicken in Pasadena since 1996 as they're known for. But I also love their simple Chinese chicken salad. It's very simple and delicious!! It has cut cup romaine lettuce, fried wontons and chicken, and comes with side dressing. Perfect taste and the price is great, as well, too. And the staff are very nice and accommodating!! Ambiance is nice and clean. Pretty quiet inside. I highly recommend this place.

Disappointed in dryish chicken. I have always loved this restaurant because the meat is so juicy & flavorful. I love that they serve dark meat, as that's my preference. Sadly, today the meat was not at all juicy. I'm tempted to think the meat had been cooked earlier and reheated. I haven't been here in a while, and maybe i just got unlucky, so I'll try it once more. The glass noodles were tasty but with less sesame flavor than I remember. Not an issue, just different. The server was cheerful and very nice.

The Teriyaki here is so bombb!! I've always seen this place closed in passing, and wondered like what the hell, why are closed at 8pm. Then, as fate would have it, was able to finally make it in right before closing one day. I was greeted by a beautiful lady working the register who was very helpful, & super nice while I was trying to figure out what to order. Placed an order for Chicken Teriyaki Plate which came with a side (there's like 7 side options to choose from), I chose broccoli. Also decided to have the double chicken for an extra $3.00, not too shabby. Also, you get to choose whether to have noodles, rice, or both with your plate which I thought was so dope. And man... let me tell you, this did NOT disappoint. The chicken was good, not great. It could've been seasoned a bit more, however, it was still very well cooked. The broccoli was perfect in my opinion. It wasn't mushy or overcooked, but had the perfect little crunch.. It seemed to have been tossed in sesame seed oil, which I thought made it super tasty. I wanna try out other things on the menu, but I'm type of person that once I find my item, we're ordering it every time lol. $17 very well spent. Good meal, good vibes, excellent service!

Every time I drive on Lake Ave before hitting Colorado Blvd, I would turn to my right and see Teri & Yaki. I have been wanting to try this place for awhile now and yesterday I made it happen. I came here with my dear friend. She was gracious to join me. Thank you my friend! Upon entry, I noticed quite of bit of bar stool seating. I wondered what this place used to be. They also have a few tables and chairs. It's not a very big place, but quite comfortable. Anyway, the menu was on the left side of the wall. Simple menu from teriyaki plates or bowls to salads to ramen to potstickers. Choices of protein or veggie are chicken, korean BBQ beef, spicy pork, tofu, vegetarian. They even have a family meal option. They also do catering. The lady behind the register was very nice and pleasant. Ordering was very easy. I went with the chicken teriyaki plate with both rice and noodles plus cucumbers as my side. The lady recommended the cucumbers as it being their best side. You can choose to have all rice or all noodles if you don't want half and half. My friend choose the same, but with all noodles and wonton chips as her side. My teriyaki chicken was tender and moist, rice and noodles had the perfect texture, sauce was very light and amazingly tasty, and cucumbers were crunchy and nicely marinated... just delicious all around!!! The only gripe was I wish the portions were a bit bigger. I guess I'll have to get two plates next time LOL. My friend enjoyed her plate, too. I'll definitely be back for more deliciousness and try their other food items. Overall, I had a wonderful lunch with my friend. You can't beat superb tasting foods at great low prices with good company. Parking is available in the back of the building. So come on by and give them a try. They are worth a visit. I'll see you here. Btw, cute business name "Teri & Yaki". I wonder if that's just a play on word for "teriyaki" or if they are actual people's names. I'll have to ask them next time LOL.
