This is a special place for our family of four where we celebrate anniversaries and today, Orthodox Easter. Brunch was delicious... many options from omelet station, to fruits, to make-your-own avocado toast, and fluffy waffles. Service was so polite & efficient on a busy Sunday morning. Looking forward to our next visit!

Non descript breakfast in a pretty setting with grouchy or tired receptionists that don't seem to want to be there.

Always prefer outside on nice days. Everything was nice. Options offer a nice variety. My food was okay. Nothing exciting. I think I wouldn't order it again. Eggs were over cooked, and the tomato was no flavor. The potatoes were mold flavor too. Not sure if the chef knows seasoning but I'd like to introduce him or her.

The executive chef of this restaurant should be fired! The breakfast was absolutely horrible, tasteless and void of any flavor whatsoever. A simple chilaquiles was completely destroyed. A tasteless egg and pork on a bed of dry chips with zero flavor or sauce. We are definitely not coming back here again.Update: The restaurant manager was very nice and kind and patient enough to listen to our complaints on the food. Much appreciated ?

This is a lovely high end restaurant. I was here for breakfast. I had the 3 egg omelet minus the toast and potatoes. I added hollandaise sauce on the side. The atmosphere was beautiful. The waitstaff pleasant and attentive.

Awesome experience, food and service. Definitely recommend this delightful restaurant! The staff, especially Kate (with a hard K) the adorable hostess, really took care of us. Our waiter was very attentive. The Terrace food is just delicious. We had the rigatoni and loved it!

Service 4.5 starsBreakfast 2 starsLunch 3.5 starsVibe 4 starsWe were here for both breakfast and lunch as we were staying here for 2 nights. The food does not taste as good as they look. Service is good but do not recommend if you are not staying here!

They have reduced there brunch to a disappointingly low level. A five star branded hotel with a low level of food quality, selection, and presentation. Shockingly inappropriate for this venue to offer such a poor quality menu. I'm my opinion the management has missed the opportunity to offer a premium experience and deliver an exceptional meal. Local pasadena or other local residents who choose to dine at this hotel are willing to pay a premium for excellent food and a sophisticated dining experience. But the management has lowered the bar an we will not be returning nor would we recommend anyone to imagine that this is anything close to a fine dining experience. We recommend they abandon this current approach and return to the pursuit of an excellent dining experience.

We went for brunch to celebrate a birthday. Food was delicious, we got the eggs benedict and they did not disappoint especially with the potatoes. Our server was great with refilling our glasses quite often. The best part was definitely the location. We got the outdoor patio and after brunch went for a walk around the hotel which was picturesque. If you are like me, you will be able to capture great pics. Will come back for sure.

Food is very good, the restaurant is beautiful, and the service excellent. But you're going to pay for it. A little pricey, but worth it if you're celebrating a special occasion

In short, was like dining at a bad culinary school restaurant. Service and food was inconsistent, with Langham's reputation and pricing was expecting better, so entire experience was a big let down. Details: Valentine Pre-fixed dinner with my wife and adult daughter. Champagne and bread starter was nice. Service at this point was already lacking. 30 minutes in before someone took our order. We all had lobster bisque to start. We didn't ' get spoons and was later told they ran out of soup spoons so they gave us dessert spoons instead. 2nd course: Hamachi crisp was good. Especially the citrus sudashi. Mushroom risotto, was salty and super rich. We could only finish a few bites. Main course: islandic cod was perfect, but the oxtail that it came with was so salty it was inedible. Five spice short rib and polenta were edible, but nothing memorable. Dessert was good. Red velvet chocolate cake and chocolate strawberry mousse. Kudos to the pastry chef. Unfortunately, our server was not good. We were able to compare another server to the table next to us and he was more attentive in just refilling our water than our server was for the whole night. Two different patrons left the table next to us before we were done. This was a hit and miss in execution from top to bottom. Unfortunately The Langham charged top dollar for the meal and service (20% tip up charge), but did not deliver. Oh, insult to injury...they ran out of complimentary roses by the end of our dinner. I apologized to my family for the experience and safe to say we won't be returning to the Langham.

The service received for the price paid was unacceptable. The waiter was guaranteed at service tip of 20% as it was built into the price of the meal, and he did nothing to earn it. It is expected that the wait staff at an establishment such as the Langham will be attentive, but that was not the case. In n fact, I was surprised when the desert was served that we were not offered coffee, as is common at most higher end places. The food was mediocre. The main course consisted of cod and oxtail. The cod was fine but the oxtail was inedible due to the level of salt in the dish.

Perfect place to celebrate a birthday! The natural decor and ambiance is elegant and traditional. Best omelets ever and homerun with the chicken sausage! Potatoes need a little help (wish those were more like homemade golden potatoes) but everything else was pretty good.
