“What a treat. Many friends have recommended this establishment so we finally made it. It's a cool European vibe in the looks and in the way the staff interacts with the patrons. We enjoyed the cocktails with the side car, basically a double. Be careful! The hangar steak was a hit with the hubby, said it was better than other local restaurants. The pork chop was yummy per a friend. And my burger was delish along with those crispy fries. The empanada app was a good choice too. We will def be back.“

“I recently dined at Mandarin Taste Restaurant in Diamond Bar and had a mixed experience. The restaurant quickly seated us, and we ordered Kung Pao Chicken, Orange Chicken, Beef with Garlic Sauce, Mongolian Beef, Egg Fried Rice, and Egg Rolls. The food portions were decent and arrived promptly. However, the service left something to be desired. Our server was not very attentive, and I had to chase him down to order more dishes and request the check. This lack of attentiveness impacted the overall dining experience. Despite the service issues, the food itself was satisfactory. The flavors were good, and the portions were generous. I appreciated the variety of dishes on the menu, and everything we tried was flavorful. In conclusion, while the experience at Mandarin Taste was not bad overall, there is room for improvement in the service department. I may give this restaurant another chance in the future, hoping for better service.“

“Drove by this place hundreds of times since I've moved to the area. Decided to finally pop in this weekend for a drink and it was a fantastic time! First off, the bar is pristine including the bathrooms. Something you don't generally get from a dive bar. In fact I hesitate to call it a dive bar. I believe the term "small bar" is more accurate. The beers were poured into frosty mugs and were icy cold. There were a few locals when we came in and ALL of them were super chill. In fact within a few minutes of chatting with them, one fellow bought a round for the whole bar. Never felt so welcomed as a new patron in a local bar. The best part by far was Randy, the bar owner. This guy was pure class and took the time to get to know us and chatted with us the entire time we were there. Just the nicest dude. Very much looking forward to paying Randy and his awesome bar another visit. Blows all the local bars out of the water. Check them out!“

“I love this place! My favorite is the SooCali hotdog. I like the open "garage" door atmosphere especially on a warm weather day. The employees are so nice and the service is great! The food is always delivered quickly and so yummy! Can't wait to go back!“

“I was there actually for a birthday party of a friend of mine which was a nice. They provided heaters outside and didn't feel any of the cold air from outdoors. The food was good portions. Only thing I feel it was a little overcooked. The fries taquito chicken strips. Go to went for less time cooking the other pet pee. I had there was my friend's birthday party. Had a bunch of candies on the table when I went to go get some. The waiters had cleared the tables and took all the candies for themselves when I asked for some. One waiter young lady said all the waitresses took them. I was kinda shocked with that. They didn't give it to the birthday girl or ask Her what she wanted to do with them. They took it upon themselves to pocket them. As I was confronting the waiter, she came back and gave me 3 pieces of candy. I left it on the table. When I left bigger they wanted it. The band was perfect.I might go back.“

We made them switch our table three times and no one seemed terribly annoyed by our undecidedness. Lol which we really appreciated because it was a special day and we wanted things to be nice. “Kalaveras is a fantastic addition to the dining options in the East SGV. The ambience is wonderful and eclectic, the food is excellent, and the service was impeccable. Highlights at our table included an excellent mole dish, a whimsical and tasty margarita flight, and mouthwatering carne asada. Portions are generous and the pricing offers some value options with some more expensive specialties as well. A full bar and many intriguing cocktail options. The only caveats: The speakers were too loud for a midday Sunday afternoon, and there are too many televisions in the dining areas. But these are minor quibbles for a superb dining experience.“

“My dinner was amazing, i always have issues/look of disapproval when i order my prime rib medium chard but not here steak came out perfectly. The waitress was supposer friendly and welcoming, absolutely no dislikes. Food came out quite quickly as i got there a few minutes they opened so bare that in mind. If im ever in the ontario area again i would definitely go out of my way to dine here again.“
