“Looking for a replacement Chinese Restaurant, since my favorite closed down. Ran out of options in Poway. So decided to give 369 a try. They had a few Chinese options, so tried the Broccoli Beef lunch special. I was pleasantly surprise, very good flavor and large portions. The regular portion would feed two. They also sell Beef Chow Fun. I normally have to get this at a sit down place. Theirs is pretty good. One day I will try the Ramen.“

“Price to quality ratio is very much on point. Ramen was quite delicious and everything you would expect (plus a little more) from a working man's lunch; it was $12.95 for a large shio. The thing that delivered most for this bowl of goodness was the broth. The salt content was well balanced and provided just enough depth of flavor to satisfy all of your umami cravings. The noodles were delightfully springy, and the bamboo + mushrooms were well incorporated, even if they added more texture than taste. The roasted pork had good flavor, but was a bit too tough. The lowest point was the egg I added, which was hard boiled (blasphemy), and definitely made the dish worse…I left it unfinished.I cannot speak for the non-soup offerings, but in all it was worth my time. Any ramen lover would be satisfied.“

“Cravings for some California Japanese American food, so we hit up Kumi that is located near a Japanese supermarket called Mitsuwa. There are a number of stores and restaurants especially ramen shops nearby too.We ordered spicy chicken which comes more like Korean spicy chicken than Japanese style, nevertheless the flavour was great, meat was tender and we can get to swap white rice to brown rice too.Salmon sashimi was rather unique, sashimi pieces soaking up loads of the soya sauce and oddly this dish reminded me of Chinese steamed fish slices oddly even though this is cold. Flavour wise I am not the biggest fan but does have its uniqueness. We ordered spicy tonkatsu ramen and it was fantastic, hit the right spot with juicy and thick cut of cha siew sliced, perfectly cooked half egg and generous amount of bean sprout and noodles that cooked just right. The broth was what we wanted for a cold night.Sushi wise, they have a huge variety and that’s the reason we come to eat at an American Japanese restaurant, love our order of EPA, which is yellow fin with vege and lemon zest toppings. Every table I see ordered sushi in some form, colorful and tasty. As for my spicy tuna cut rolls, the sashimi was a tad too mushy for me, and the spiciness was a bit overwhelming that covered the freshness of the fish, but it was so hard to explain, the spiciness is addictive and I found myself finishing the whole serving in no time.Overall highly recommend this place, it was delicious and all the staff were so friendly too, a nice dinner indeed.“

“?Hands down! ? This ramen place is the place to go! My husband and I been going here for awhile now and it never disappoints. If you're into rich delicious broth, along side the noodles and all the food on top. I can say everything compliments each other! You'll start to become regulars before you know it! I've been to some other ramen places on convoy but none as good as this place!?So give them a chance & I promise you won't be disappointed, oh and if you like spicy chicken definitely try their appetizers too!???“

“Bulgogi pancake and fried rice were particularly delicious. Rolls very good too. Service was good and friendly. Place had a nice vibe, and not too loud - possible to have a normal conversation over dinner without shouting over the music or other patrons. Will definitely be back.“

“I love this place!! Such a hidden gem ! I've always come with my doggo, so I never really ate inside. We might go one of these days. The place is so cute and customer service is excellent! They are so nice!! The food is sooo good!! I love the curry and how crispy the fried chicken!! The takoyaki is addicting! Everything is just so good that we always come here very often!! I need to try more of the menu, but the curry is just too good! The price is amazing also! Especially in this economy, you can't beat good food with that price tag!! We will continue to come and enjoy the delicious dishes!“

“Super yummy ramen!!! I got the spicy miso tonkotsu ramen and the spicy garlic edemame, and they were both delicious!!! The ramen noodles are very filling and don't feel too thin like other ramen places. The spicy garlic edemame was for sure spicy, but also super garlicky! Service was great, our waiter went by our table of 6 to check on us often and the food came out in a timely manner. The place is a bit small but they have plenty of tables. Parking does suck because of the area, so make sure you give yourself enough time for that. I found a spot on the street a few blocks down because their shared lot was packed.“

“Came here early on a Saturday evening for dinner. It was full, but didn't feel crowded. The servers were very attentive. We ordered some ramen. I'm no expert when it comes to this stuff, but it was really good. Very flavorful. I would absolutely recommend this place. I know there are a million ramen places in the convoy. But you can't go wrong with this place!“

“This sushi spot is a great option for a speedy lunch or casual dinner. Their hour's are great: even opeb in-between L & D! They won't blow your mind w/ culinary innovation, but you get fresh, decent sushi in a clean & friendly atmosphere. The miso soup was a satisfying starter, hitting the spot with its savory warmth. The tempura was a bit standard but the gyoza pulled up their rating, but all still enjoyable. The sushi rolls were fresh BUT a little underl-constructed, nice choices. The the service & convenience are the best. The wait staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything came out quickly. Plus, with a good selection of draft and bottled beers, it's was a relaxing and hassle-free experience.Overall, this restaurant won't be your next special occasion destination, but it's a reliable choice for a quick and tasty sushi fix. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the mood for a no-fuss, fresh meal.“

“The yakitori here is amazing, everything was flavorful. We loved everything we ordered & even wanted to get more. I love the concept of ordering on the iPad, makes everything easier & you can just order as you go. It does get pricey though, the yakitori ranges between $5-$15 but most come with 2 sticks. For 2 of us, we spent a little over $100. All in all, I'd still come back every once in a while when I'm craving some yakitori!“

“Grabbed lunch here and had a great meal! We were seated promptly and our server was very kind. I ordered the classic eel roll, the sunset roll, and the scallop dynamite roll. All the rolls were very tasty. The eel roll flavor got a bit overpowered by the sauce drizzled on it (a thick, sweet sauce) and the sunset roll was a bit one note--though still very tasty. The scallop dynamite roll was my favorite. It has no structural integrity and kept falling apart as I ate it, but the flavor was amazing! My partner got the teriyaki chicken and he enjoyed it. It came with a side salad which had an odd flavored and textured dressing on it. All the rolls were fairly priced and you got a good amount of food for each one.Service: 10/10Food: 8/10Atmosphere: 10/10 (really cool mural on the walls, can see the chefs making sushi, and there is a nice outdoor seating area)“

“If there's anything more delightful than finding a cozy, family-owned gem in the heart of the city, it's experiencing it with a fun group of friends. Saki Saki Sushi was the rendezvous point for an impromptu happy hour soiree before our movie screening, and oh, did it charm our socks off! With a group of 12 gals, it's not always easy to find a spot LAST MINUTE that's both accommodating and exudes warmth, but Saki Saki Sushi nailed it. The hospitality was akin to a warm hug; they welcomed our bustling group with smiles and service that made us feel right at home. You can tell it's a place where every patron is treated like family - something that's truly close to my heart, being an entrepreneur's kid myself. The star of the show? Arsen's Crispy Rice! It was the talk of the table, making waves as each gal arrived, and enticing enough to inspire a wave of reorders. It's the kind of dish you'd travel across town for, and we were lucky enough to stumble upon it at their delightful social hour, sweetened by some fantastic deals. With every laugh and shared sushi roll, the sentiment was unanimous - we're definitely returning to support this fantastic family-run sushi spot. It's not just the excellent food or the reasonable prices during happy hour that has won us over, but the genuine care and connection that made our group outing an event to remember. Our server :) IYKYK, Arsen (was the cherry on top and loved seeing his family plug him into the run of the show at the restaurant, as a entrepreneurs kid myself my heart can't help but swell to see families doing their thing!!“

“This is from an email, I sent to the owner that gave me no response. Hello, I have had issue a few times with ordering and service at both Yasai establishments. Yesterday our ordered was delivered via DoorDash and the bag was torn and box of vegan sushi which was open, when given to my husband by driver. The ramens seemed fine, due to The Yasai labeled sticker was placed to keep the food secure whereas the vegan sushi had no tape or sticker on it, which would have ensured or food would not have arrived open. This is unsanitary and unsafe especially during these times. Now DoorDash did give us a refund for the vegan sushi however, in our opinion like done at fine dining restaurants or other causal dining establishments the whole meal is usually comped for the inconvenience. We did not feel comfortable eating that sushi or reordering due to the fact it was opened and our food may have been tampered or exposed to something in the driver's car. We love The Yasai, but this was one of a few incidents that has lead me to right this email. The other issue is I went with a friend on 7/10/2022 in the evening to the restaurant on Convoy and was given a non- vegan dish. I am Vegan. I am not happy about eating anything from animals and the fact this mistake was made still bothers me. What really made this incident terrible is the person who served the food, never came to apologize. He left that on the waitress and another staff member perhaps manager to apologize. The waitress told me he knew that he had served us the wrong food and did not want to take responsibility. They gave us 50% off our meal and pretty much packed our food and rushed us out, probably in fear people would hear our dissatisfaction. This meal should have been comped. Also the server should have been the one to apologize. I am Vegan for my spiritual beliefs, health and love of animals. It's not anything to shrug off, respectfully. I was disappointed when I learned a couple months before that your restaurants decided to use animals and almost did not want to eat there any longer but because I love the ramen & sushi, we gave it a chance. But the lack of customer service and consideration floors me. This a business has two separate kitchens to avoid cross contamination so why would this happen other than the server not paying attention. I am very disappointed and this is not the experience we hope to have. We order at least once a month or come by to eat. My husband and I really felt it is important you know that loyal customers are not happy and if your business is going to have vegan food and meat based, it should be paramount that these issues don't happen. (There still hasn't been a response so I will post to each Yelp and to social media.)“
