Food excellent. Service excellent. Location excellent. The new server was very welcoming and nice. This place was recommended by a local and I’m so glad to have come and eat authentic Mexican cuisine.

My first time here, it gives you a nice and warm kind of vibe.  The walls were bright and had nice photos and decorationsI ordered:1. Chilaquiles verdes with steak - The steak was tender and chilaquiles cooked perfectly with the egg.  The verde sauce had a kick, where you can't stop eating it.2.  Gorditas de chiccharon -    First time having this, but it was good.  The tortilla was crispy with a light doughiness.  Chicharon was perfectly seasoned. Once you get to the middle, the spiciness hits you.Overall the food was delicious and the lady who took my order was nice.   I will definitely come back to try their other items.   My only complaint would be,  I wish it came with chips.   Something to help balance out the spiciness.

An unexpected jam in a nondescript building in Redwood City. Walk in to vibrant colors and a full bar with many tequila options. My kind of place. The food was some of the best Mexican food I've ever tasted. Interesting list of house cocktails. Definitely should stop by if in the area

Gosh the chicharron gorditas were scrumptious! Rich and flavorful and a chewy gordita outside. The taquitos papas were tasty too.Enjoyed the flavorful chicken mole. The mango agua temperado was sweet and fresh.Really enjoy coming here. Pricy but delicious. Was too hungry to take pictures until the mole came ?

Popped by La Fonda for a quick lunch last week and I'm so glad I stopped by! I had about an hours lunch for jury duty and since La Fonda was nearby, I was able to just walk over and get a bar seat pretty quickly. There weren't too many people in there so it was relatively quiet. There were a few items on the menu that weren't ready yet as those were for dinner but I had my eyes set on the mole poblano as I haven't had mole in a while. The mole was fantastic! I've only had mole in Mexico City and this was comparable to that. The chicken and rice were both well done and the tortillas were hot and fresh. I'm definitely coming back again for dinner to try out some other goodies and to try out their drinks!

I love this place!! Everything is so delicious! Their ceviche is great, the guava aqua fresca, the guac, the pork tacos (in the sauce I forgot what they were called). This is my favorite place to eat in redwood! I've been here 3 times, and sent many people over here. All my friends love it too! I have only went before 4pm so it hasn't been busy

By far best food and drinks in Redwood City. & the mezcal drinks are really next level. Total hidden gem!

I can't remember the last time I've been so impressed with a restaurant! I've been driving by this unassuming place for years and am sad I've been missing out. Cute atmosphere, friendly and attentive service and the food was amazing! The give you soup to start (very good), the fish tacos were some of the best I've had, and the cocktails went perfectly. And if you have room, the fresh churros were delicious.

Such a cute little spot tucked away in a small strip mall. Food was so good. Some of the best guacamole I've had in awhile.we order the appetizer with the cheese and chorizo, forgot what it's called, but that stuff is my Roman Empire, I think it about how good it was every day.

There are a lot of very good Mexican restaurants in Redwood City, and this is the best of them.

The enmoladas was very sweet however I asked the waitress for a side of chile de aceite and from there this dish was very good. The restaurant had a great vibe to it and the waitress was very nice and patient with us.
