My GF and I were in the area. We're not usually in Hillcrest. She'd had a rough day so when I checked out the menu on line and saw Crest Cafe serves breakfast any time along with a pretty extensive menu, I knew this was the place to try. After we were seated, just looking at the menu made her happy. She chose a French toast option with raspberries and ricotta. Breakfast for dinner is a special treat for her. It did not disappoint. The food here is WOW! We could definitely see why Diner's Drive In's and Dives visited here. The service was top notch. The waitress picked up that we were splitting two dishes, and brought them out already split! The Breakfast Quesadilla has hash browns in it which I have never seen or tried, and we were glad we ordered it. The other dish that rocked out world was the Blueberry Biscuit French Toast.
