“Amazing omakase, friendly and knowledgeable staff“

“Came here the other night for dinner.(+) Vibe. Very cute little restaurant with the sushi bar and a few tables along the walls.(+) Service. Pretty on top of things and friendly. There were a few times I think the server didn't notice something and the sushi chef said something in Japanese and she would come over quickly.(+) Food. We got the $150 omakase, and it's a great deal! You get a good amount of kitchen dishes but also a good amount of nigiri. Fish is fresh, had some cool fish types we haven't had before. Sushi chef was super nice and chatted with us a good amount.Would definitely come again.“

“What a great place! Drove by it a couple times before I noticed it, tiny parking lot and ended up parking on the street. There is seating at the sushi bar, as well as on the patio. Loved the food selections! Definitely ate things outside of my comfort zone, but everything was delicious and amazing. Showed up super hungry and left full and satiated. Only complaint was that no one ever asked me if I wanted any water (I got quite thirsty, as the course was a little over 2 hours.)Looking forward to returning for another seasonal menu!“

“This is my second time having omakase at Kinme and it is again phenomenal. The food and ingredients are always fresh and well made. One of the only omakase places in SD that I leave feeling very full and satisfied. The chefs actively introduce each dish to the customers and make it into an authentic experience. There are usually two waitresses/waiters who tend to about 10 customers, and they make excellent recommendations for beverages and are extremely attentive. For the price, the quality of food, and service, this is hands-down one of the best omakases in SoCal.“

“There are a few restaurants inside this supermarket. This restaurant, Musashiya, they make a wonderful pork katsu plate with rice and curry sauce. The pork was crispy and tasty; the meat was lean and tasty also. The curry sauce was flavorful too. Definitely a 2 thumbs up!“

“Wasn't expecting much but the sushi was truly delicious! 10/10 recommend the Salmon Belly Truffle Roll. Space is small but has enough for seating if it doesn't get packed. This spot is shared in the same plaza as Target, 85 Degree Bakery and more. Right next to Bobalicious. There's a beautiful mural right as you come in! They gave complimentary sorbet ice cream & fortune cookie! I would definitely come back :)“

“Can here in a Saturday evening for dinner about 630 pm so the food scene at utc was hoppin! Most places had 1-2 hour waits but this place was able to seat us with just a ten minute wait. It's located in far corner of mall so I think it's a hidden gem because folks don't go out this far Into the mall. Lucky for me and da family. We were all getting pretty hangry and it was a chilly night but we really lucked out. Pacific Catch came thru and delvers excellent service and food. Would I come here again even tho it's in the furthest point from the mall? Heck yea and you should too. Real easy afterwards to get desserts just outside the restaurant. Enjoy.“

“Rakitori was super yummy! My friend and I got the spicy garlic butter edamame, salmon tartare, and the salmon roll. All were delish, especially the edamame. Abraham was our server and he was so attentive and wonderful. We hit the end of happy hour from 4-6pm but they squeezed us in to get the deals. Happy hour includes buy one get one 50% off draft beers, sake, and starters. Would definitely recommend.“

“Ate some delicious sushi at Domo Kitchen! Ordered takeout of a spicy salmon hand roll, tuna, albacore, hamachi, and ikura nigiri, and the Philadelphia and santeeiego roll. Nice and thick nigiri. Super friendly staff and didn’t need to wait too long for everything to be prepared. Definitely recommend giving a try, they also serve other cooked Asian food if sushi isn’t your thing.“

“Delicious ramen, but the sushi is usually disappointing and the service not infrequently leaves something to be desired. I've given this place a try once every few months, hoping it's improved because it's a short walk from my apartment, but there are always new or recurring issues. The servers get orders wrong not infrequently (even when ordering two items per person, 1-2 people). The quality of the sushi is sometimes poor, sometimes good, and the inconsistency makes it not feel worth the gamble for me personally. Never get anything with eel in it; there are always multiple bones every other bite, and this has been noted over multiple visits. There's a wide selection of sake, but it's not really my thing so I can't comment on it. Definitely recommend trying the ramen, otherwise there are better options for sushi and other Japanese food nearby.“

“This is my new favorite Thai restaurant in the USA. The photos is what was left of my pad see ew after eating my fill. Portions are enormous for very reasonable prices. Friendly small intimate with incredible food. I got Pad Thia to go a different night and I swear the portion was even bigger. “My friend and I always get sushi together and we decided to try Chef JUN next. This place didn’t disappoint! We got the chefs choice sushi, the dragon roll, and the salmon Oshi. Since we were splitting all fourteen pieces of sushi on the chefs choice platter, we asked them to cut each piece in two for us. All were DELICIOUS. Great quality fish with fantastic taste and flavor. The salmon oshi is a must try. I can’t even begin explaining this delectable dish. Could not recommend more! Our waitress Elena was fantastic as well. Overall great experience! And there is parking :)“

“We stopped in here yesterday. In general things were really good. Few small things... Miso soup did not have seaweed. What the? Restaurant was hot. It was a cool day. Came in comfortable walking from car and had to remove my light jacket. Food order was not 100% but it was taken care of professionally and quickly. I tried Udon for the first time and enjoyed it. California rolls were good. Yellowfin roll was not as good as I had hoped. Edamame disappeared quickly. Ordered a second bowl and it also disappeared from table quickly. Portion small but good. Did not try garlic edamame. Staff was friendly and attentive. I would go back.“

It may not make a difference to some, but to others it means a world of difference!Vegetarian options: Not clearly labeled when it comes to the soy tuna! In fact it is very deceptive!“
