We went to Won Kok on a Tuesday evening and were seated at a round table on the third floor. We were with two brothers who grew up in San Francisco Chinatown. The tables were about half-full on our floor, mostly Chinese speaking Cantonese and Mandarin. Had lunch here at 1:15 pm with the parentals because it was the only time they felt safe dining out. The entire upstairs dining room was practically empty and we sat next to windows which we opened. They have lunch specials (i.e. rice plates) for $11.50 and their full dinner menu available. They were out of sea bass and stuffed fried tofu so we ordered giant clams ($9.50 for two shells) which were very fresh. Thursday night dinner with the fam. It was my first time here and was surprised by the third floor dining area. The second floor was packed, so we ended up on the third. Didn't expect that much space from what I saw on the outside.Flavors were good and quantity for the price was excellent.
