“Quick and fast taco stands. Now they support the credit card payment. Eric is welcoming and serves the neighborhood very well until the midnight. The protein of stewed pork and the al pastor is nice while I hope they could use corn tortillas instead of the flour ones.“

“It’s SUPER delicious!!!!❤️I am originally from Chengdu, away from hometown for 3 years, this hotpot and Chuanchuan really makes me feel home! I heard from the lady boss that the chef is an old hotpot master in his eighties, it’s really authentic!I even brought the soup home for cooking?? There is no one else who packs hot pot base ingredients?Great service!Totally recommend!“
“a nice, refreshing place to get your ice tea fix! chun yang is located in a small plaza with a parking lot. i came on a thursday afternoon and there weren't many spots available. there is street parking nearby if you can't get a spot in the plaza. i got the honey osmanthus oolong tea, their #1 popular drink. i appreciated the server, who was very knowledgeable about the drinks and their sweetness levels. i got my drink at 50% sweetness, and it was still super sweet, so 25% is probably best if you don't like your drink tasting like sugar syrup. the tea, however, was the best part since it was strong and refreshing! this is a small shop, so don't expect any tables to hang out in here. there is a bench to sit and wait for your order, but that's all for seating. there is a public restroom for customers. overall, great place for a refreshing and strong tea drink. the quality of the tea was great, and it is perfect for a hot day.“
“This place never disappoints us! Amazing drinks, super friendly staff. My favorites are the green thai milk tea and the watermelon juice, so refreshing!! Despite many other boba shops around, this place has their own unique taste, they just… “hit” different (in the best way possible)“

“Finally got the chance to try this dessert place after always passing by. I got the pure milk soft serve and 3 pieces of taiyaki in custard and red bean. The soft serve is a nice texture and it's very soft. The milk is a bit too sweet, in my opinion. And you can self serve on several toppings for the soft serve. The taiyaki is very good, just wish that it is a bit more crispy. They give a generous amount of filling inside the taiyaki. Inside is a small place. They only have a bench and a couple of stools. Overall, a great dessert place!“
“Regularly like to frequent breweries that have Hazy IPAs and let me tell you that their Kikokiko Hazy IIPA is fire! It's up there with the great Hazy IPA breweries such as HPB and Monkish. Took a 4 pack of Kikokiko home and will definitely be back.“

“The service was GREAT and the mango sticky rice was super delicious! The mango was super ripe and sweet and the rice had the perfect salty edge to it. It could use a bit more of the coconut sauce, but other than that it was absolutely amazing! The ambiance was great and calm with minimal music playing the background. The interior was also nicely decorated with additional seating outside.“

“This place is such a hole in a wall, and would definitely come back. I was here literally last week and been thinking about coming back all week this week! The place is like everyone said, half grocery (international market, mostly indian goods), and half restaurant. I mean hey some people can make a business model after it, full respect. The quality of their food doesn't decrease just because its half and half, in fact, this place have the best indian food I have had thus far! There is bollywood music video playing on the TV, you are served with kindness by the staff there, and also attentativeness. The staff are great at recommending things, but they are also great salesmen - as in they would point at things asking if you want to order - lol.I ordered the garlic cheese naan, which was delicious. The tikki masala lambm which melted in my mouth. The rice was okay, but I haven't been too enthused about rice as of late, so it might just be a personal preference thing.Their mango lassi is okay, but food was really great! The parking lot is huge, free parking and shared with the other stores in the plaza.I would come back! Bring your wallet as its not the cheapest, but also bring your appetite.“

“Such a relaxing, lived-in, homey Hong Kong coffee shop. The owner asked me about my coffee tastes, recommended a fruity Ethiopian medium roast pour over, talked about the tradeoffs of siphoned coffee, French press, etc, and recommended his freshly baked croissants as particularly good today. Soothing classical guitar music, endearing hand-written signs, and idiosyncrasies of the owners as decor are all such a stark and lovely contrast to the sterile and corporate coffee shops everywhere in LA. If you want something different than that, try Fresh Roast on San Gabriel.“

“They are known for their 譚仔阿姐 with her infamously quirky-accented Cantonese, and if you're expecting that, sorry! Service was nice though, just a little rough around the edges with some of the staff. Still not bad, and still professional.Food is decently priced, and not bad. Didn't disappoint at all! I'm glad I tried their house noodles they're famous for ?. The 魚蛋 (fish ball) is not shaped like a ball, more like they just scooped it and then made it in that shape without balling it up, but that's OK! Actually makes it easier to pick up with chopsticks ?. After finishing halfway through, I thought the toppings:noodle ratio was good, but was afraid the soup ratio to both might have been lacking. But really, the shape of the bowl is much deeper than you think. In the end, the Noodle:Topping:Broth ratio was actually PERFECT ?!My friend had the 雙拼湯麵 (Two-Topping Soup Noodles) with 雲吞 (Wonton) & 牛腩( Beef Plate), which is normally my go-to. He's not a thin noodles guy, but he thought it was flavorful. Plus, the noodles were springy!Their 蝦腸粉 (Shrimp Rice Rolls) looked a little messy, but was really good! Sauce was savory, slightly sweet, and the rice rolls themselves were really smooth! Wrinkly and folded up, yes, but it's the softest and smoothest I've had in a while.咖央西多士 (Kaya Toast) was interesting! If you're wondering what Kaya is, it's coconut jam. Admittedly though, the spread inside was a bit too thin for me. I would've liked a more liberal lathering of that Kaya. Otherwise, the cut of the thick bread ? all toasted up with egg batter around was OK. I wonder how it would've been if they soaked that bread in milk ahead of time though... ? Still worth ordering! Oh, and they bring out a thing of 蜜糖honey ? for it, but I'd rather pour the 煉奶 condensed milk over it, that's intended for the 奶茶 (milk tea).Which leads me to the segue into 奶茶. A little tame. Not heavy on the flavor. Really needed the condensed milk to give it some. But a good milk tea should have that nice Assam Tea smell to it. Although, not a lot of good milk tea places around the area, so what's given here is about par average.Parking: Parking used to be easy here, despite the weird design of the lot, which has more parking on the bottom. But then, the restaurant options got better, and holy mackerel! It got SUPER tight! Navigating here is no joke! People are trying to come in and out, you don't know whose coming from where, or how to fit.“

“My aunt got these cakes for Christmas and I was obsessed with how cute they are! Don't be fooled by their appearance these cute dainty cakes taste just as intriguing as they look. My favorite was the hazelnut chocolate crunch and the coffee hazelnut macaroon tart! I really wanted to love the strawberry cheesecake but it wasn't any of our favs.“

“This place is definitely the better Nha Trang of the two. Their noodles are much more fresh and their drink was a lot better than the yellow building Nha Trang. This place is still one of my favorite pho places. We always get a pho ga and a bun bo hue. The pig blood in their bun bo hue was so juicy and delicious as well.“
“My wife loves the Hibiscus Tree Combo #1 loaded with marinated beef, shrimp, beef tripe, crab stick, fish ball, spam, quail egg, bean curd, bean sprouts, enoki mushrooms, black fungus, winter melon. So much great stuff inside. We use DoorDash for food deliveries. But I've came by twice to pick up takeout. The parking lot is always full and hard to find parking so we prefer DoorDash and let them deal with the parking situation.“

“What a wonderful surprise, with my name on the Nutella Latte. It is a rainy day in LA but this cafe in San Gabriel "Love to go" brighten up the day. Not only it looks good, both egg tart & the drink taste good as well. Actually, I come here today to buy their branded chilly sauce. A must have on almost all my meals after I tried it the first time.“

“Have you had a dry Hot Pot?Tasty Dining has these Griddle Cooked Foods that comes with potatoes, cauliflower, celery and bean sprouts. You choose the proteins such as Bullfrog, Squid, Pork Ribs and Beef Short Ribs like I did! The squid was my favorite! I’d order a double portion of squid next time! There’s a variety of veggies, mushrooms, tofu and meat, like fish balls, quail eggs, crab sticks, beef tripe, pork belly and more for an extra charge. I added pork belly to one of my griddles. I’d order a double portion of pork belly next time! Adding all the extras can start to add up. But, I feel like these griddles need more protein. The flavors really packed a punch! You control the spice. Of course, I got extra mild for us.Griddle (mild spicy)✧ Bullfrog✧ added Pork RibsGriddle (mild spicy)✧ Squid✧ Beef Short Ribs✧ added Napa Cabbage✧ added Noodles✧ added Pork Belly“

“This was my first time trying this boba spot! I personally am a fan of places that let me order through a kiosk and this lets you. They have plenty of drinks to choose from and I went with a classic oolong milk tea. Their oolong milk tea was delicious and I'm sure I'll be back again. They were quick with bringing the drinks out. Unfortunately there's no seating here, so most people are in and out once they receive their drinks.“

“I'm not a dessert guy. But I do like this place. The simple coconut dessert is not overly sweet and topped with fruits like mango or kiwi makes it kinda healthy and nice. If you recycle their cups like 10, you can get a free one. I don't like to waste and this place is with a visit. It's also good for party favors if you bring a pack when visiting folks. Fast service as it's all pre made and in and out ambience.“

“The ladies are always nice when I visit and everything is good. I really like the curry bun, baked cha siu bao and pineapple custard buns especially. I've gotten the tins of shortbread cookies with various animals as gifts for my mom before. They're so cute. Had the best mooncake of my life here. Pretty expensive, I think it was $6 and was only about 3 bites! But wow, was it good and an adorable panda shape. It was strawberry yogurt filled. Perfect mini size as a small gift or to try various types.“
“For the longest time, I have never noticed the name of this shopping center until now as a Yelpie. This San Gabriel Square is on one huge corner block full of stores, restaurants, bakeries, snack bars, drink shops, and so much more. It's anchored mainly by 99 Ranch Supermarket and Five Star Seafood Restaurant. My family was at this square this past 2023 Christmas Day getting some Wushiland boba drinks. Wholly molly, the line was so very long out the door... I wouldn't be surprised if one day the line goes out to the parking lot LOL. Worth the wait though!!! Best roasted oolong milk tea with mini pearls in town!!!Anyway, this square is constantly crowded from morning till night. There are lots of outdoor and underground parking, but not enough I think. It's best to come here really early in the day or low peak evening hours. At the end of the day, just be patient... someone will leave and a parking spot will be available LOL!P.S. I will post photos later. I have to get them from my computer since they are no longer on my phone. Thanks for your patience.“

“The food was fantastic. I ordered the Mongolian natural and spicy soup but it's just that the spicy one didn't taste spicy. The soup tasted amazing by itself. There were only 3 sauces provided: Sesame, BBQ, and I don't even know what that one was.The only con is just that with the price that they have I believe there are some better options out there, and they really need an actual sauce bar.“

“Great tacos, plenty of meat. Love the Carne Asada tacos for the kids, and mine are the tacos al Pastor. Great taste. I love the options for the Salsas, they have green salsa mild (for the kids) and a darker green that is more spicy. They also have other options if you are craving nachos or fries. If you are in the San Gabriel area, give it a try, you won't be disappointed. The Aguas frescas are also good. I love Jamaica, and my kids' favorite is the Horchata.“

“I like this place. its a Hong Kong style restaurant and they are open really late. Mongolian beef is my favorite because its tender and savory. Wonton is nice. Beef congee here is better than Saigon Eden's and better priced. Beef fried rice is alright (not a lotta beef). Pineapple bun is alright (there's no filling).Sadly they are not open Monday ?♂️It's very close to where I live but I hate walking there because the restaurant kitchen is constantly dumping (sewage?)water into the side street where I walk and that means I'll need to step on it to get to the entrance door.Inside is nice. The vibe is a mix of hanging out and family dining out. They're mostly elderlies at random hours, with younger groups popping up during lunch and later hours.Parking: There's a lot of parking spaces here, but the lot is always full of cars because of Embassy next door I think. Tasty is usually half full so I am very confused why I am forced to park on the streets a few times ?♂️“

“Drinks are amazing the service is really quick especially when you need to get back to work. Ambiance is peaceful I feel like it's a place to relax. I will recommend the Sensual passion strawberry with green tea and no sugar added. The drink is amazing and doesn't taste like it has sugar if you don't add it if you like to add the sugar that's fine but with the small pieces of strawberry inside the drink it is amazing will recommend this 10 out of 10.“

“WOW, such a cool, underrated find! I was recently in the SGV and was excited to try a fun new boba place. At first glance, Citeadrinks seemed a bit gimmicky to me, but it was well-regarded on Little Red Book (Chinese social media) so I decided to give it a try. The store itself is mahjong themed with punchy signage and a street-wear/trendy slant. Prices are on par with other boba places post-COVID, though I was flabbergasted to see a $10 coconut drink. There was only one party in front of us so we were able to order quickly. You can order either at the counter or at kiosks off to the side. They are offering 10% off and popping boba with yelp check-in, though communication was a bit unclear and I think they only gave me the 10%. Either way, under $6 for an excellent drink is a rare find these days!I got one of their winter items, the coconut juice with grape jelly. I normally get tea-based drinks but this juice might just convince me to expand my horizons more, because it was absolutely fantastic!!!! One of the tastiest, most unique drinks I've had at a boba shop. There was grape jelly at the bottom of my cup, sort of like jello, and you are supposed to stir it into the coconut milk/water poured over it. I was a bit nervous because I didn't see any options for adjusting sugar or ice, but my drink came with the perfect "not too sweet" sweetness, and didn't get watered down as the ice melted. The coconut taste is not overpowering, but instead adds a buttery, almost savory-rich dimension to the grape. It is creamy but I don't think it is entirely coconut milk, as it is light and refreshing without being too heavy. I think it is a drink that both coconut lovers and the coconut hesitant will enjoy. I also had a sip of my friend's blended yogurt hawthorn drink. The yogurt taste was really good but I think they only used haw flake candy and not actual haw berry in the drink. The blended haw flake didn't really integrate into the yogurt so it tasted like yogurt with a haw flake topping. It was good but not really what we were hoping for. Citeadrinks has an extensive and unique menu. They offer many health-forward drinks including traditional Chinese herbal tea blends for everything from PMS to fatigue, and avocado-kale shakes. They also have a myriad of toppings I rarely if ever see in the US. I will definitely come back here next time I'm in the SGV!“
